Hearing Xiao Jing's name again has reminded Li Wei of the period he is in now.

"If Xiao Jing has been taken as the direct disciple of one of the elders of the Valley of Delight then that confirms that I'm three years earlier before players arrive in this world" Li Wei thought to himself.

"Then I will need to get stronger since when players arrive in this world, the situation will be more chaotic in this chaotic world"

"Do you have any business with us?"

"Yes, I will be selling some spirit grass. How much do you buy for one?"

"Since it looks like you are new here then I will tell you some things you don't know. The price of spirit grass here is usually lower when you sold it to other towns. That is because, in this area, those spirit grass is of abundance"

The worker told him politely since even if he has the potential to be a disciple of the sect, for now, he is still nothing and the sect will not care if he died because of his stupidness.

Li Wei immediately understood it since this is his starting point in the game. He just tried to double checks if some things have changed. For now, it looks like nothing much have changed, just his existence.

"Then how much will you buy these three stalks of spirit grass?" Li Wei asked the worker in front of him while taking out three stalks of spirit grass from his storage ring.

"If it is in good quality then we will assure you that we are going to offer you a good price, if not then you will be lucky if we will even buy it. Wait for me here I will show this to our appraiser to know if this is worth it or not" The worker immediately stood up and takes the spirit grass after Li Wei handed it to him.

Li Wei just sat down in one of the seats in the hall since he trusts this place. Even though they will purposely try to lower the price so that they will have a better income it is still better if you compare it to other places.

Some places just can't be trusted especially if they are to know that you are weak. It even wonders to Li Wei how those people who can't cultivate are still able to continue living albeit hardly.

After sitting down Li Wei can see that many people are looking at him. This is pretty normal since if it turns out that the spirit grasses are of good quality then some will try to intimidate him for some of the rewards.

Even though Li Wei is weak now and he doesn't have some martial skills, he still has the confidence to leave this place in one piece. He has been playing this game for 10 years so he has to deal with many types of situations.

In this case, he can solve it easily since he has fought many types of people and he can be called an expert in combat. What he has to fear for now are people with good cultivation techniques and those who are also experienced in combat.

After an unknown amount of time, Li Wei can see the worker returning so he stood up and walk to him.

"It looks like you are in luck since the spirit grass that you brought is in excellent quality. We will be buying it for 3 golds and 60 silver, that is our highest price that we can give you or else we won't be profiting from this deal"

"Usually we are not going to agree to this price however since the spirit grass that you brought is of excellent quality we are going to buy it for a huge price. By the way, you can call me Zhang Dong if you have more business here you can just find me" Zhang Dong smiled and said to him.

"Then I'll take it. I'm satisfied with the price that you have given me, unfortunately, I don't think I will be having more of it since it might have taken all my luck just to be able to find those herbs" Li Wei replied to Zhang Dong who looks disappointed however he still tried to smile because Li Wei had just sold them a really good thing.

"I see, if that's the case then this will be the 3 gold coins and 60 silver coins for the spirit grass that you brought. If you got lucky again then we will take it with the same price again"

"Yes, if I'm lucky that is" Li Wei replied to Zhang Dong before leaving. It is now nighttime however there are still many people outside in the streets. The streets of the town are lively and there are many stores that are open. It doesn't look like the town is dark at all since there are many light posts thanks to the wonders of qi.

Although the scenery is pretty good, Li Wei still has some problems to deal with since he has just earned a good amount of money. He knows that some people are following him since although this amount of money is not huge for a cultivator it is enough to live luxuriously for a month.

Most cultivators are greedy people and they need many things that can help them to the growth in their power. Money is one thing that will help them since it can buy many resources, it is also the reason why extortion is so common in this world.

After walking out of the Alchemist Association and wandering in the street, Li Wei can feel that some people are following him.

It would be a shame if he will not take advantage of his talent especially in the times that he needed it the most.

It didn't take Li Wei a long amount of time to arrive in the blacksmith's shop. After entering Li Wei can already see the design of the room. It looks normal however it gives Li Wei a unique feeling of peace.

Li Wei knows that the reason for it is the blacksmith here which is also the owner is actually a strong cultivator who is also talented in the art of forging.

The owner of this place is shrewd and eccentric so Li Wei needs to be careful.

"What do you want boy?" The old man said to him with his apathetic tone after he saw Li Wei looking at his crafts.

"I want to buy a sword" Li Wei stated politely. If this old man is to be annoyed by him then he will be chased out immediately.

After Li Wei said that the old man suddenly stood up with his bottle of ale. He grabs one of the swords that are on display and he threw it at him.

"This sword suits you the best. It is wailing for your companionship as if it is like the two of you are fated" The old man suddenly told him these profound words which made Li Wei speechless since he knew what this sword is.
