Gathering Storms

When the gangster saw Li Wei's reaction, he is so terrified that he stopped moving. Li Wei's smile is just psychopathic that he peed his pants and his mind went blank from the scare.

"That's the wrong move," Li Wei said like the reaper who takes people's lives. The momentum of his slash suddenly stop, instead of slashing the guy in front of him, he thrust his sword to the guy's heart.

After stabbing the guy Li Wei kick him so hard that he flew for about two meters and after freeing his sword he did a fast sweeping slash at his back since he noticed that they are going to attack him on the back. With the fast sweeping slash that Li Wei did, Li Wei blocked the swordsman's attack and he is in shock since he is sure that he will be able to at least injure him.

The attacker put too much qi in his attack that Li Wei can feel the strong force of it. He can still bear it since his enemy is clearly a beginner in using this method of attack and they don't even know any martial arts so fighting them is easier.

After blocking the slash he can see the swordsman retreat and when the swordsman retreated Li Wei noticed that the guy with a mace is going to smash him.

'So they plan on attacking in sync and try to exhaust my qi. If it is a battle of endurance then I will lose, too bad I am not an idiot and I do not plan to prolong this battle' Li Wei thought when he jumped backwards and retreat.

As Li Wei have already retreated the mace have missed him. He can see the vexed emotions from them. They probably didn't expect that Li Wei will fight them and killed some of them.

"You! Are you trying to make our Fire Dragon Gang your enemy?" The swordsman said to him, trying to intimidate him.

"Isn't it obvious already? What a stupid guy" Li Wei said in a sarcastic tone. They are already mad that Li Wei fights them and he even killed their brothers in front of them so Li Wei mocking them is driving them to insanity.

"If I don't kill you today I will not be a part of the Fire Dragon Gang from this day onwards!" The burly man with a mace said while going into an attack position. When he is about to move he suddenly feels someone touched his shoulder and before he can even attack the swordsman reminded him.

"Brother Peng you need to calm down! It will be better if we fight him on sync, we might not know what cards he have hidden"

The guy with the mace looked back and he calmed down trying to think more rationally to make this situation favorable for them and at least avenge his brothers.

"Right, we need to help each other to make sure that we can take revenge for our dead brothers"

The two are crying since it looks like the four of them have already formed a brotherhood long ago. It's so weird to see these men cry and if others are in this area then they will think that Li Wei is the bad guy here because of how the two hooligans made the scene touching.

Unfortunately for them when the two are talking, Li Wei is already preparing his next move. He gathered all of his qi from his dantian into the meridian in his arms, hands, legs, and feet.

Li Wei then closed his eyes, bending his legs forward to move faster, holding his two swords in front of him and his arms forming an x shape, he poured his last remaining qi into his swords.

"Fate series, Fate Sword Art, 1st move: Gathering Storms" Li Wei chanted under his breath when suddenly wind surrounded him. The wind formed into a storm of blades that surrounds Li Wei, the two gangsters just finished forming their attack plan when they see the spectacle in front of them.

It caused the hair in their body to stand, adrenaline rushed to them due to them being afraid of what is in front of them. This is giving them too much fright since they haven't seen a scene like this and that they can also feel the intensity of the gathering of these wind that turned into the shape of blades.

"Not good! Let's run!" The two shouted at the same time. Taking revenge is not in their mind now, their instinct for survival is telling them to run however that is also the moment that Li Wei opened his eyes.

Before they can run Li Wei had already moved. He is too fast that they feel like he just teleported and disappeared.

After Li Wei executed the move he looked back, the last two guys have been sliced to multiple pieces by the sea of storm blades that it is too gory to look at.

His surroundings are also a mess. Fortunately, there is no one around the area so no innocent bystander got hurt.

There are also many blade marks in his surroundings and it also caused a sound comparable to an explosion. He double-checked and make sure that they are dead and he looted their storage ring since it is pretty common in this cultivation world.

Li Wei is already tired when he arrived at the inn, after entering he can see that they are serving dinner so Li Wei sat at an available table since he is also hungry.

After sitting and relaxing he can see Yu Yan approaching him. He just smiled since even though the time is already night, this girl is still as energetic and hard worker as ever.

"Good evening young master! Do you want to dine in? We have plenty of good food here!" Yu Yan said to him.

"Yeah, can I ask what is on the menu today?"

"We have fried rice with egg, roasted wild boar meat, and a chicken soup! These are for today's menu and I guarantee you that they taste good since the chicken and boar meat are from the wild and it has some qi into it" Yu Yan told him excitedly like she have eaten all of it.

Seeing Yu Yan being enthusiastic about the food, Li Wei ordered all the types of food on the menu since he is very hungry now. He didn't eat that much earlier either and cultivators need to eat plenty of food for their growth.

Steamed buns aren't enough to make sure that he is well-fed. Food is of importance to cultivators since they can use it to absorb the qi that the food have. They also need to eat plenty of food to ensure that they can keep their body strong since the qi in the food can be used to strengthen the body.

The inn serves its food fast so there are many people eating here even though it can be seen that not all of them are staying in the inn.

After being served his orders, Li Wei ate too fast since he is hungry and eating will help to make sure that he can recover fast. The foods that are served here are also delicious. Li Wei ordered another set of food since it will be helpful for him now.

The more he eats and recovers his qi, the better his body will be. After eating plenty of food and feeling full Li Wei feels like some color has returned on his pale skin. He also feels better now and he feels like he have recovered some energy compared to earlier that he feels like he will be unconscious any moment.
