The Murder

Squeak, squeak. The floor of the dark ice cream shop creaked as Katarina Elon walked. She had travelled all the way to the island of Molokai, Hawaii to visit her friend, Lahela. Unfortunately for Katarina, her cat, Sprinkles, had run off into the closed shop.

"Sprinkles? Sprinkles, where are you?!" She called desperately, looking around. Silence. Katarina didn't hear a single meow.

Suddenly, Katarina heard a sound. 'It must be Sprinkles!', she thought. Squeak. She heard another sound. Katalina started to feel relief, thinking her cat was the one that caused it. As she walked towards the direction where the sound came from she heard a very loud squeak from right behind her and turned around, but before she could even make out the figure standing before her, she screamed.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!"
