1 1. An FPS Competition
Saturday, October 1, 2022, 3 pm.
Haidian District, Beijing, China.
In a closed hall lit by lamps to illuminate the hall to keep it bright, there are several rooms where each room has 5 PCs lined up in a row, complete with a monitor, an earphone, and a mouse for each PC. Yes, the five of them were playing a game, and not only that, this time they were participating in a local fps competition. The five of them were one team and were facing another team in the 18th round of the final.

As he was sitting, it was not clear how tall he was, however, if one looked closely, he was approximately 180 cm tall, with proportional weight. His name is Johan, he is from Indonesia. And he studied in China for a reason that made him not want to return to his native country. Currently, he is 18 years old and studying at the Beijing Institute of Technology.
Without looking at his friends sitting on his left and right, he pressed V for voice chat and said.

Furthermore, another one of his friends liked to prank. Just like when he set up the "wall" skill to trap his teammates or baited his enemies with his teammates so he could kill the enemies.
"Wei!" Johan called. This friend of Johan has spiky black hair and a slightly long chin. His name is Long Weiting. His name is quite unique and makes people laugh. He didn't like being called Weiting, so Johan called him Wei.
Wei is using a character with a bolt arrow, wall-piercing energy arrow, and detector skills. So, he understood the moment Johan called him. Immediately after, he pressed the keyboard with his left hand, controlled the direction with his right hand using the mouse, and launched his detector skill.
"Hehe, got 'em! It's time to hunt!" Weiting didn't need to tell the rest of his teammates where the enemy was, they already knew thanks to the skills he unleashed. Without further ado, he immediately released his ultimate where his rifle changed to a bow, and his 6 seconds wall-piercing arrows energy blast was unleashed.

Johan was speechless, Wei was always just playing as he pleased. However, two hits without seeing the enemy and using only instinct were absolutely insane.

He gave a mark on the map, then spoke using voice chat.
"Cheng, cast your poison wall on my mark!"
"Got it, Yue Han."
This guy is Su Cheng. He was the first person Johan met out of four of his other friends and had known him at cram school before enrolling in university.
Su Cheng had stylish short black hair that had his bangs raised upward. Different from the other four who had beige skin, only he had ivory white skin which made his face look clean and fresh. His sharp brows also make his appearance look handsome and cool. Due to those reasons, it made him popular among the girls.
Currently, Su Cheng uses a character with a bunch of poisonous skills, including ultimate.
Meanwhile, Yue Han is Johan's name in Chinese. Since living in China, everyone called him Yue Han. He was used to it even when people he just met called him that.
Two of Johan's other friends are Zhao Huo and Yan Guge.
Zhao Huo was known as a somewhat lazy guy. He has straight black hair that is almost shoulder length. His bangs are also long enough to cover his eyes if not swept to the side. He is also the shortest of the other four, he is only 160 cm tall and quite short for a man.
In contrast to Zhao Huo's lazy character, he actually has a name that means "on fire".
And the last one is Yan Guge, who has a pretty ridiculous name which means Swallow Google. He was a tall guy, 190 in height, but thin in body. In addition to having medium wavy black hair, he also has a beard that is deliberately grown to be long.
He has a nature that likes to prank others, especially his friends. The thing he likes most is spending time with his friends while spending money since he is rich.
Zhao Huo is using a character that not only has blinding and enemy tracking skills but also has a healing skill for teammates. Meanwhile, Yan Guge uses a character that has healing and revival skills, as well as slow debuffs and a barrier wall.
Johan and his teammates already know the position of the enemies who are in base A to plant a spike AKA detonator. To get to base A, there are only two ways. One of them is through base C where there may be enemies waiting. And the other is an open area that allows snipers to shoot from base A. The open area was the place Johan had marked and he had told Su Cheng to cast a poison wall at that mark.
Johan uses a ninja-like character, which has self-propelled skills. Either propel to the air or short distance dash.
Since their room was closed, whatever Johan and his teammates discussed would not be heard outside.
Meanwhile, outside.
Since this ongoing match is final and broadcast live via a streaming platform, of course, there will be an emcee commenting on the match.

Moments later, Long Weiting, Zhao Huo, and Yan Guge were already close to base A. The emcee commented.
