And I'd just received it without doing anything...this was just too nice. Many people don't get paid $30,000 per month from their 9-5 day job.

There's still a lot of money to be acquired, and I must acquire all. I wanted to check out the costs and the functions of the skills in my skill panel, I was curious to see them.

But that would have to wait, I'd check them later when I've arrived at somewhere more comfortable. I have $30,000 in my bank account currently, I see no reason to keep staying in this bar.

..I better find a nice hotel where I'd spend the night.

I gulped down the content of the beer in front of me down my throat. Then I stood up from the chair I was sitting on, carried my bag, paid for the drinks, then left the bar.

I was walking on the road currently searching for a nice hotel where I'd spend the night as different people kept walking past me, and I was walking past people as well.

I was looking for a bit of luxurious hotel...you know, I've got money now. Not too luxurious though, just somewhere in between. I kept searching until I finally found one.

From the building, I could tell it would match the taste of the kind of hotel I was searching for. I walked into the hotel and headed straight to the receptionist but met a queue there.

..Yes, the queue consisted of both people that wanted to check out of the hotel and people that wanted to book rooms.

I was part of the people that wanted to book rooms. Well, I kept waiting in the queue until it finally got to my turn to speak with the receptionist.

I began speaking to her as she was a female telling her the reason why I was here which was to secure a room. Well, I did so, I was given a room number and the key to the room was handed over to me by the receptionist.

Then I left the receptionist's desk as the person behind me came forward. According to what I was told by the receptionist, the room I was to make use of was upstairs.

So I made my way upstairs and was walking past different rooms right now searching for the room I was to make use of...

I'd confirm the room I was to make use of by the number in front of it.

..And after a few minutes more of walking, I saw the room I was to make use of.

I didn't waste time unlocking the door with the key given to me by the receptionist. And after unlocking it, I opened it, and the room was just exactly how I wanted it to be.

Well-arranged, everything kept in their rightful places. The bed was so spacious, and it looked cozy...I could tell it would be so comfortable to sleep on.

There was even a flat-screen TV in the room, so nice. I walked into it with my bag in my hand, and after dropping my bag on the floor, I walked toward the bed and landed flat on it.

And just as expected, it was so soft and cozy...

"This is just so nice". I muttered to myself after falling on the bed.

I lay like that for minutes before I decided it was about time to eat something. Since I was kicked out of the mansion today, I hadn't been able to eat anything, I only drank.

And drinking and eating weren't the same thing, I needed to eat something now. With the help of one of the waitresses in this hotel, which can also be referred to as room service, I was able to order food.

I was sitting on the bed in my room when the waitress brought the food into my room. She dropped the food on the table along with a bottled water, then she said to me...

"Enjoy".

"Thanks". I voiced out with a little smile appearing on my face.

Then she walked out of my room. I drew the table closer to me so I could begin eating, and the moment I did that, the aroma of the food graced my nose.

..Just from the aroma alone, I could tell the food would be really delicious.

And I wasn't wrong, I confirmed that when I began eating. The food was so delicious that I couldn't stop for a second while eating. I just kept digging in until I'd emptied the plate.

Then I began gulping water down my throat from the bottled water...

I almost emptied the contents in the bottled water before stopping. And after some minutes, the waitress came into my room and took the empty plate away.

My stomach was full, I wasn't feeling a bit of hunger.

'What should take place next?'. I thought to myself.

There was a television in front of me, should I just turn it on and begin watching a program? I remember when I was still in the mansion after I'd been reduced to a mere servant.

Watching TV ended for me there. As a servant, who gave you the right to watch the same TV Layla was watching? There were many rooms in the mansion.

But there was only one TV in the living room, the other rooms didn't have TVs. So if you want to watch TV, you have to do so in the living room.

..As a servant, you have no right to watch TV.

So when Layla was still in love with me, I do watch TV. But after I was reduced to a mere servant, watching TV ended for me just like the other servants.

But here was a TV in front of me and I could turn it on and watch it if I wanted. I would do so later, for now, I have to do something really important.

And what was that? Checking out the costs and the functions of the skills in my skill panel. As said, I was curious to see them, but I needed to be in a more comfortable place to do that.

I was in a more comfortable place right now, so now was the best time to do so. I called out on the system,
