HAPPINESS POV

Jinx. If there was any doubts Happy had well they were gone now. It was official, she's jinx.

Out of everyone who could have gone abroad, return and be her boss it had to be him?

Fred Daniel.

She groaned internally. Ezekiel was right.

She had been right when Ms Harrison had called her as well as others that were selected not at random to the bosses office.

She carefully examined the place as she marched a long with every body else to his study inside the mansion.

The place was beautiful. The entire living room was beautifully painted with white only. Her father had asked for it to be done like that in their own home. He said it's because that place in the house is for no one in particular but for the entire family so it needs to but coloured neutral.

The furnitures as well were all identical to theirs. From the chandelier hanging at the top to the tiles below them.

It was definitely freaking her out.

But what was more freaky was the art works and art pictures on the wall. They were identical to theirs once again.

The expensive vase that was placed at the top of a table close to the exit of the room which was not an ideal place to keep it but was what they had done.

Flower pots with artificial flowers was used to decorate the place round where there is a drawer which was also round the room. And you guessed it, it was exactly how theirs were.

Everything was.

Even where their Air Conditionings was located was also the same. She started to get goosebumps.

The thoughts of encountering a creep of their former family house was not appealing especially not as a boss.

In the hallway. Fresco where all over the walls. Theirs were plain wall painted with white and peach paints. This was different. Happy sighed in relief but her mind quickly brushed that relief away.

It was only one difference; fresco on the wall could not dismiss the similarities of the mansions earlier but for a split second, Happy was glad to know that there was a little difference.

And what could those fresco mean? They seem ancient yet new.

*****

They were seventeen in number. Herself and Ezekiel included.

Her expression was priceless when she saw him.

She prayed silently he would not reject her. She needed the job.

'i'm only being selfish after all I've done to him.' she thought.

'But what if he doesn't mind? After all he did not know.'

FRED POV

Fred had asked Ms Harrison to bring all the workers she had seen hard work in to his study.

If it was just him, he wouldn't have had so many servants but he sure Happy would love to do nothing and have many servants do them for her.

They assembled in front of him but the one who caught his eye was the one with red hair.

Her hair was in a tight ponytail. She look so slim and weak.

Just how Ms Harrison described her. She some how look rich. Her skin looked like they were properly taken care of with expensive lotions and spa treatments.

Her face was pure and angelic. Innocent and natural.

If Ms Harrison hadn't told him the way she had worked and her desperately need of a job he would not even think of hiring her.

It seems as if she's about to faint any time soon. She looked so pale with her fair skin. She was so pitiful. And looked really young.

His heart wept. He was like that before but it seems like she was suffering more.

"What's your name?" He asked her. She bowed her head meekly looking only at the ground.

"Uh I'm Happy. Happiness White." She said.

Colours drained from Fred's face. The was only one Happiness in this town and that was his first love. She even said her surname was White. Same as hers.

"What did you say?" He asked but it came out more as a whisper.

"Sir I'm really hardworking I can assure you and I won't slack off I promise. I may look petite but I..." She started rambling but Fred caught her short.

"What I asked was your name nothing else. I don't discriminate." He said more harshly than intended.

She jumped and looked frightened. It was as if she was about to cry.

Tears welled up in her eyes and her breathing seemed to her been seized as her constant inhales and exhales had stopped.

Everyone's eyes on both of them and it seems he had frightened most of them there not only her.

"I'm." They both said together then stopped.

"Let me go first." Fred suggested but it was more of an order. He was the CEO of a huge construction company in New York City (Which he also has built here in this town) and giving commands were stuck to him as he always had to order people around to get things done.

"I'm sorry." He apologized. "You see I knew someone with that name. Exactly with that name. Do you know anyone else with that name?" He asked softly.

But she shook her head. "Nope." She answered. Judging by her shaking voice and still afraid expression on her face, it seems she hadn't gotten over the scare Fred gave her.

'But she doesn't look a thing like the Happy I knew.' he thought.

He was right. The one whom he knew was a brunette not a red hair. She had gray eyes but the one standing in front of him had green eyes.

The girl he knew had beautifully tanned skin like his and was much chubby but this girl had fair skin and looked like a stick. A stick that anyone can easily break.

"Are you sure?" He asked and she shook her head once again.

He stared at her for a while. Forgetting everyone else in the room.

This was not his Happy but he had a feeling this Happy will take him to his Happy. But he can't start asking her questions in front of everyone, for that he would have to talk to her again.

He cleared his throat then began, "You're all hired."
