25 The White Room (A)

After the pillar of light hit him, Eugene's vision blurred.

But because he knew a great deal about what he was experiencing, Eugene could still tell that he was crossing dimensions and entering a world unknown.

Thus, he didn't feel scared or confused.

[Ding! You've entered the White Room!]

Eugene heard an indifferent but soft voice, one not belonging to his system, before his vision gradually cleared up.

After finally taking in his surroundings, he found that he had appeared in a completely white room.

The room was as vast as a football stadium.

As if reflecting a demon's desire for purity, from the walls of this place to the ceiling and floor, everything was white.

There was a raised platform with a chair and a table of the same color in the center of this room.

Around it, there were hundreds of humans.

Yes, Eugene was not alone in this place.

The pillar of light that had picked him up had also kidnapped many others and brought them to this place.

"Stop ogling at me, you shameless bastards!"

Eugene turned his gaze towards the person who had just cried out and saw a group of men staring at a wet human female with not as much as a strip of cloth covering her privates.

'The tower's spirit most likely dumped her into the white room while she was taking a bath. Thus, she ended up appearing wet and butt naked in a white room full of people. Her luck's really bad.'

Eugene clicked his tongue and guessed that the lady wouldn't survive long in the tower because her luck was horrible.

"Move your eyes away from her before I rip them out of their sockets."

However, he did not take into account her beauty which was enough to make strong men simp for her.

As long as she plays her card right and uses her beauty to the best of her advantage, she wouldn't only survive but also create a super harem of handsome and capable men for herself!

"Hey man, we didn't mean to disrespect her."

"Yeah, she is the one flashing her privates to us."

"What did you say?! Do you dare repeat it?!"

"I-I mean, we did nothing wrong."

Only after a muscular guy with many tattoos and a murderous aura stepped in and threatened the perverts did they look away from her.

The muscular guy took off his huge shirt and gave it to the lady without looking at her.

"Cover yourself up."

She raised her head to look at his dependable back in gratefulness and yanked the shirt out of his hand before wearing it in a hurry.

"Thank you."

After covering herself up and feeling a sense of security, the blue-haired lady in her twenties thanked the man who had surprised her.

She had mistaken him for a street thug when in actuality, he was a gentleman.

The man just smiled back at her.

It wasn't just her who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Eugene spotted many others who were experiencing a more embarrassing situation than her.

"You seriously splashed your pee on me?"

A man in his fifties was watering all the flower boys and pretty girls around him with his piss.

"Ugh, so disgusting!"

Although he didn't understand how he appeared here in the center of a crowd from an abandoned site, he didn't let that stop him from answering nature's call and disgusting everyone around him.

"Old man, are you looking to die?"

"I didn't mean to!"

"Holy shit?!" A youngster was jerking off, but his dick went limp as he became conscious of the significant change in his surroundings and the many stares his kind had directed at him. "Where in God's seven skies am I?!"

"These poor people must be burning with shame." Eugene felt second-hand embarrassment for these unlucky folks.

He refused to make any comments about them, however.

He kept to himself and, in utter silence, started moving about the room.

"W-where are we?"

"I went out to buy ice creams for my younger siblings. How the heck did I end up in this hell hole?"

"My parents will be worried sick for me if I don't return home in an hour!"

"Did a billionaire kidnap us for fun?"

"Lol, are you dumb? Look around you. Asian, Western, African, Middle Eastern, European, and so on, everyone gathered in this one room is of different ethnicity. What kind of billionaire has so much free time and courage to mess with the citizens of all the nations? If they want to commit suicide, there are better ways to die than to fuck with the government of all the fucking nations."

"Bruh, maybe someone's playing a prank on us, or are we mass hallucinating?"

"Nah, this is too cruel to be a prank and feels too real to be an illusion.

"If you don't believe me, just pinch yourself."

"No thanks."

"Let's not do anything silly because I think our every move is getting recorded by spy cameras and broadcasted worldwide."

"The net's not working."

"At least the devices are not busted. I can still take pictures and make videos."

Eugene walked through the crowd while eavesdropping on the conversations taking place around him.

As he expected, most people here were bewildered and unable to make sense of their situation, while some still had the mode to joke and take selfies.

'They will soon realize the dangers of this situation and come to understand on their own that they need to stay sharp and collected to survive,' Eugene thought.

He shrugged, kicking all unnecessary thoughts out of his head.

'Instead of judging them, I should worry about myself.'

First off, he decided to confirm who owned this white room.

There were many white rooms in the tower, each having different owners but the same purpose.

The owners would use different methods to fulfill their job.

If he knew who owned this white room, he would not find it hard to conclude what he was about to face.

Eugene scanned the white room with a gaze of scrutiny.

From the color of the furniture in this room and the black and white clocks with seven stars beside the platform, Eugene determined who owned this White room.

'White's the favorite color of Sebastian. This White Room must belong to him. I shouldn't be here, though. Then, why am I here?' Eugene had dug all the background information about V. Samuel and knew that he had appeared in the White Room of the Black Magician, not Lord Sebastian. But even though they were the same person experiencing the same thing, that didn't seem to be the case for him. 'I might have created this butterfly effect by defeating Kaisers and his little puppies.' Although something had changed, he didn't feel tense. After all, he was familiar with Sebastian. 'Luckily, I know Sebastian's likes and dislikes and how he governs his white room.' Eugene's eyes lit up in joy. 'I have the upper hand against everyone here.'

Sebastian was a member of the demon race.

He liked to follow his emotions.

While he looked kind and gentle, he was one murderous fellow.

He had many hobbies, but the list of things he disliked was ten times bigger than his hobbies.

Anyone breaking his rules or doing something he doesn't like usually ends up getting turned to dust by him.

"Guys, look there. I'm certain they weren't here just a moment ago."

Nobody knew when but a race entirely different from humans had appeared in the White room out of thin air.

"Where did they pop out of?"

Eugene redirected his gaze to the group of strange creatures that had appeared at a further distance away from the raised platform than the members of the human race and recognized who they were at first glance.

"Who knows. Hey, don't you think they look like monsters straight out of a fantasy? What were they called again?"

"Ogres."

And also the mini-bosses that the protagonist vowed to kill because they had cruelly maimed most of the humans in this white room just for fun, and they had also tortured a friend of the protagonist to death, Eugene recalled.

"That thing just smiled at me. Fuck, I am feeling terrified."

One particular Ogre smiled at the humans with ill intent.

"They look exactly like the most weakest among all races of our world."

"What were they called again?"

"Humans, the weakest of all the races."

Most of the Ogres didn't know what humans looked like because back in their world, they lived far away from human settlements.

However, after they heard the young sage recognizing them as humans, the Ogres' expression took a turn for the worst.

They had heard rumors about the humans being weak and dishonest, so they only held extreme disdain for them

"Tch! A group of infidels actually got to arrive in the same white room as us. How unlucky can they get?"

They glared daggers at them.

The humans stepped back from them just in case they were planning to do something to them.

"Heh, it will be fun hunting them to the very last men."

The Ogres were proud warriors and also extremely cruel.

They had every intention to stomp down hard on the weak and crafty humans.

"Dumbasses, do not let your instincts get the better of you."

But one of them stopped them.

It was none other than the Young Sage of their Tribe, who held an extreme position in the hearts of every Ogre present in this place.

"Why?"

The strongest of all Ogre Warriors, Murzzul Bogrobo, questioned him.

The young sage, Sharbul Bogrobo, bashed his stick on the floor to get the intentions of every other ogre beside Murzzul.

"Can you not tell who owns this place just by taking a look around? If not, let me tell you. This place belongs to the Demon of Hell, Sebastian V. Inferno." Sharbul said with a severe expression, "According to his rules, you can do whatever you want in his white room but not take someone's life. If you broke this rule of his, you are as good as dead. Even I won't dare save you if he wishes you dead."

The Ogres gulped after hearing his words, and their desire to beat the humans to death immediately died down.

"For what are you all feeling down?" Murzzul stomped on the ground, causing cracks to appear on the floor. "The young sage said that we couldn't kill them. Nothing is holding us back from breaking their bones!"

The strongest and most cunning warrior of their tribe put down his weapon on the floor and began walking toward the humans.

Sharbul, the young and skinny Ogre sage with a staff in his hand, looked at Murzzul's back in deep interest as he questioned him, "What are you planning to do with them?"

"I will just break a few too many of their bones, starting from the first one to bump into me," Murzzul replied haughtily.

Seeing him going away, Sharbul couldn't help but comment on him. "His cruelty, contempt for the weak, and arrogance will either break him or make him wreak havoc in the tower."

Nobody among the humans understood what they were talking about as the Ogres were speaking in their language.

Only Eugene, who had unlocked this very cutscene after playing the game for three years, knew what the Ogre Warrior, Murzzul, who had placed down his weapon, was planning to do with the humans.

If left unattended, this bastard would maim several dozens of humans in mere minutes.

The ones he would cripple would die soon after, either because of starvation or thirst or because of committing suicide.

'I must stop him before he can greatly harm others.'

Eugene didn't want to help others, not because he had a kind heart but because of his own selfish reasons.

He wanted to ensure the safety of the humans around him because he wanted to create variables that would increase the chances of changing the future of losing his current body's home planet and future base to a terrifying race that would invade Earth in a few months!

"He is coming towards us."

The humans saw Murzzul approaching them and began panicking.

This Ogre warrior was five heads taller than them and very muscular. His thick arms and legs were three times the size of watermelons, and his waist was even bigger.

All in all, he was terrifying, and no one wanted to get too close to him.

"Don't let him get too close to you. God knows what he might do otherwise."

The humans, old and young, ran away from the Ogre as if he were the source of a terrifying plague.

"Hahahaha! I haven't even begun smashing them to the ground, yet they are already terrified of me and running away like ants. These humans live up to the rumors about them. They are weak and disgusting!"

Murzzul laughed out loud.

"Huh?"

Yet, his smile died down, for he noticed that while nearly all the humans were scampering away from the 4 ft giant he was, one was walking towards him.

Who was it?

It was none other than Eugene V. Samuel!!!
