The Bushido and The Inferno

"Zain! You have to escape this area!" Adriesta warned.

Zain couldn't even move or speak. He was just frozen. He watched me battle my brother in with this demon power I had.

"Zain! You have to leave! There's no telling what Stella will do now!" Adriesta said.

I slashed continuously at Zheng Yi and he blocked each attack then jumped back. I growled and black lightning surged around my body. I yelled and my dark aura surged wildly. Zain and Zheng Yi were blown back from the intense power of my aura. The markings on my body glowed purple and emitted aura.

"I will kill...Everyone!! I will kill...Everything!!" I yelled and slashed multiple times at Zheng Yi, releasing multiple blade beams.

Zain's heart was racing as he looked at me in terror. Adriesta grabbed Zain and pulled him on her horse and retreated as far away as possible.

"What's...happened to her..?" Zain asked.

"This is her Bushido Mode...she has no control over her demon powers whatsoever. She is taken over by her will to kill and destroy. It all happened when Zheng Yi attempted to kill Miyuna and Saya. Luckily they are still alive. This happened to her three years ago also..when she saw her closest friend die in front of her eyes because of the Holy Order. I was too late helping her because of Zephyr...I could have prevented that cursed blade from choosing Stella..!" Adriesta said.

"Cursed blade?" Zain asked.

"The Seven Suns is an Ancient Demon Sword..it is one of the two twin blades of Ancient History. The Seven Suns was created by a demon named Bushido and he used this blade to kill the Six Kings of Arcania then killed himself, making him the seventh. The blade is cursed with the soul of Bushido, and gives the wielder otherworldly power and abilities at the price of their life force. It drains the users life force the longer they are in battle. The only way to counter this is to have the other part of the Twin Blades, A Holy Relic, called Seven Moons. It was a blade created by Bushido's younger sister, Lunaris. She used the sword to revive the Six Kings then sacrificed herself so her soul could take over the sword. Her Spirit lingers in the Kingdom of Lunia and is reincarnated into a young girl named Su Yi. She protects the Seven Moons in a dungeon deep within Lunia." Adriesta said.

"So that's the only way to keep Stella from losing control of her demon power?" Zain asked.

"Yes. It is the only way...if Stella doesn't get the Seven Moons blade, I fear she will die one day because of the Seven Suns." Adriesta said.

"We have to get that blade then!" Zain said.

"It isn't that easy. The only way you can get the Seven Moons is by having the Seven Suns. So the only person who can obtain the blade is Stella..meaning she has to go alone." Adriesta said then her horse stopped at Fort Rede, where everyone else was resting. "Get off."

"Where are you going?" Zain hopped off the horse.

"I'm gonna go back to Stella. I am her guardian. It is my duty to lay down my life for her." Adriesta said and commanded her horse to go back to Fort Illia.

Zheng Yi and I kept clashing then I slashed powerfully and broke his weapon. I then slashed down and he caught the sword with his two hands and grunted. I yelled and the aura coming from my markings grew. The aura emitting from my eyes surged powerfully. Zheng Yi pushed my arms away and punched my face and my necklace snapped off my neck and landed on the bridge. Zheng Yi saw the punch didn't affect me and stepped back. I got into a stance.

"Bu..shi..do...Arts....Seven...Sun...Mist...!" I said and slashed through Zheng Yi faster than he could see.

Six more slashed hit him and blood sprayed from his body and he fell on the ground. I turned around and looked at him and bellowed as my aura surged. Adriesta noticed the necklace and stopped. She got off her horse and picked it up and put it in her pocket. She looked at me and knew the only way she could stop me was to defeat me in battle.

"Stella!" She summoned her rapier and flame pistol.

I looked at Adriesta and dashed towards her. Adriesta dashed towards me and we clashed. She pushed me back and fired her pistol. I blocked the attack and slashed down and up, releasing two blade beams. Adriesta slashed and cut through them both, dispersing both of them.

'Stella...I know you're in there..! Wake up!' Adriesta thought to herself.

"Kill...Everything..!" I yelled and slashed downward.

Adriesta parried my attack and shoulder bumped me and kicked me away. Her flames surged around her then her pistol glowed. She bellowed and her eyes glowed a Scarlet red.

"Master Skill: Crematory Oubilette!" She yelled and a huge fire ball appeared in front of the barrel of the pistol. She pulled the trigger and a huge blast happened.

I slashed and tried to cut through the blast. Adriesta yelled and her pistol shined brighter. I grunted and my eyes began to flash back to normal. I began sliding backwards as the blast got stronger.

"Stella!!" She released the blast and blew me away and I crashed into the fort and fell to my knees and my body turned to normal.

My markings also retracted by into the seal on my left cheek and the seal stopped glowing. I soon fell on my side and passed out. Adriesta panted and fell to one knee. The entire fort was destroyed. Adriesta stood up and walked to me and looked at my face. She got down on her knees and rested my head on her lap.

"You've gotten stronger since the last time I saw you...but you carry way to many burdens on your shoulders. You carry too much pain and sorrow on your heart...I can't bare to keep watching you suffer, Stella.." Adriesta said sniffled and her tears fell on my face. "It's my fault you're like this...if only I was faster...I could've saved you and your family. I'm so sorry Stella.."

She sobbed and more tears fell on my cheek then I reached up and touched her cheek. She looked at me and held my hand.

"I chose this path...you have nothing to apologize for. You've done so much for me up to this point...I should be the one apologizing for making you feel like this. I chose to accept the Seven Suns. I don't have time to be weak...I have to protect my kingdom and all its people..carry out my mother's wish. I have nothing to lose but my kingdom and my life. That is the only reason I keep living...If it weren't for the people I met now...I would have died a long time ago. I don't want to lose anyone else.." I said and sat up.

"Stella.." Adriesta wiped her eyes.

I hugged Adriesta gently and smiled. Adriesta hugged back and held my head gently. She ran her fingers through my hair.

"Let's head back..there's something you need to know." Adriesta said.

"Alright..but for now..can we stay like this...for a bit. There's just something warm about this hug.." I smiled. "Like an older sister's hug."

Adriesta smiled and nodded and kept holding me in her arms. I opened my eyes slightly. Adriesta's hug reminded me of my mom and Tomoka. I closed my eyes again and smiled warmly and exhaled from my nose softly.
