Chapter 28 Battle of Kattegat

Thor decided join the battle in Kattegat,it wasn't long as they saw Ships arrive with Rollo saying"You have my gratitude for coming to our aid."

Rollo was really grateful,he really prepared the villagers for the worst.But now he felt their is not need for them to risk their lives,so he told them to move,while they gave them cover.

Thor nodded and replied"Yeah,I couldn't just turn a blind eye could I."

Rollo grinned and ran to join the group on the other side,which was in charge of protecting the villagers.

Jarl's Borgs men started readying their weapons and rushing towards them.

As Thor yelled in ancient asgardian"Raise your shield as high as you can.We have to get the villagers away from the fight."

The shield are raised and all the Asgardian are half hidden behind the circle of hammered shields all of them had a light blue glow around them.

Thor ordered"Protest them that is your main objective."

Jarl Borgs men were rushing against the wall of Shields.Thor and his fellow asgardian pushed them back as all of Borgs men slide, plowing the earth as their feet are forced back or thrown back.

Asgardian easily draws the first blood, plunging his spear across the chest of one for the enemies.

In one quick move,Thor, swings Storm Breaker, and knocks one of Borg's men.He then throws his axe with all his strength, knocking the Brute head over heels. Thor raises his hand.Storm breaker slows in mid-air, then flies back to his grasp.

He goes through swinging his Storm breaker cleaving through Borg's men, the cries of pain muffled as they fall onto the ground.

The Agardians doesn't let one man pass them and pierces their enemy without pause. Piercing through their heart or puncturing their lungs with such power that the air escapes the chest wounds in great geysers.

But Borg's men who had not seen Thor's powers arrived and rushed towards him with their swords drawn.Thor raises his Axe, rising into the air, summoning lightning. A massive bolt strikes Mjolnir, then channels outwards, splitting up, striking each one of them. All of them are sent flying back,some of charred from the lightning."

Jarl Borg was scared seeing this,he had heard rumors about Thor's divine heritage,but never saw it with his own eyes a chill went down his spine as he quickly retreated back to his ships,while some of his men where still fighting on the other side of the town with Rollo.

Rollo had hand axes one in each hand and he was in beast mode,the axes size makes them perfect for being swung one after another with ease cutting down incoming enemies easily and seeing a chance he even threw them at the incoming enemies right in the head.

Rollo saw Thor's people were helping them evacuate the people,as he saw someone heading towards the villagers,He rushed perform an tackle that carries the person and tosses him away as he quickly takes the fallen sword and with huge swing takes his head and looking around he saw Jarl Borg was retreating,so in anger yelled"In the name of Thor you will pay for this."

Borg gulped he wanted to quickly go back to Gotaland and never set his foot in this damn place again.

Rollo was watching Borg ship sailing off as he looked at Thor asked"My Lord couldn't you kill him right now."

Thor eyes widened hearing Rollo call him Lord as Rollo continued"I now really believe your Thor God of Thunder."

Thor nodded with smile replied"I wanted to let him have a few sleepless nights and I am sure your brother won't take his lying down."

Rollo snarled and said"Ohh he won't after all Borg came here with intention to kill everyone,so that includes Ragnar's children."

Thor hummed and said"You know,if you ever want some place to settle come to Kaupang,I will make sure you will be part of our War band."

Rollo was happy close to tearing up,he was acknowledged by the God he looked unto sick young and it was bigger than anything and this was much better than his brother or people acknowledgement.

Thor added"I will come back when Ragnar returns and for security,I will let my people stay here for while."

Thor gave Rollo a pat on the shoulder and was walking away as a hole in the sky rips open, and the the rainbow light of Bifrost energy comes shooting out of it.The ground lights up when the Bifrost hits, as runes from the Bifrost are imprinted on the around them.

Rollo had already made up his mind to go to Kaupang and join Thor's warband.But his thoughts were broken by a voice"Rollo were is King Thor, what was that light and this imprint on the ground."

Rollo frowned seeing Aslaug,he never liked her.Sure he loved Lagertha for a while,but now outgrew it and Rollo knew Aslaug was lusting after Thor,who seems to avoid her.Which just made him smirk,Rollo simply walking away replied"He is gone and that is mark of the gods."

Rollo didn't wait for Aslaug to reply and also saw his nephew,who was nanda Sigurd was born with the image of the serpent-dragon Fafnir in his eye, the same one her father Sigurd killed.
