A/N:I write this for fun so just read it to pass time.l also took parts from different movies like Gods of Egypt, Clash of Titans, and Percy Jackson. This is a rough draft that is still I am not sure of weather this is a good or not.

Thors POV

I soon called mother, Val, and Sig as all of them reached the house I explained to them what I found about the other pantheons as Val who heard everything asked incredulously "Are you kidding they made human prayers their power source don't they know how mortals praise us one minute and curse or blame us if things go bad."I nodded at that since most Christian, Hindu, Shinto pantheons may survive due to huge number of believers at least from what I saw in my past life. But greek gods or titans are starting fading like Helios and Selene

I shrugged and said, "At least the Egyptian pantheons were smart instead of prayer they made certain locations, body parts, weapons...etc their power source like Horus: Eyes, Osiris: Heart, Set: Pit to the center of the earth, Thoth: brain, Nephthys: Wings as there source of power this doesn't mean they are without weakness the moment they lose the said parts they become incapacitated also divine weapon will kill them without a doubt."

I then internally thought "As immortal beings, Protogenoi, Titans, and Gods can't be killed. Even if they are cut up into many pieces, they can still survive and eventually rebuild themselves over time this is because of the power from prayers or belief from the mortals but if it is weakened or people just stop praying or believing in them they will be weakened and will fade other methods to kill them is 1.scattering which is where the being in question receives a powerful blow that would destroy their physical form and scatters their essence to such an extent that it is believed that they won't ever be able to form a consciousness again 2. it is possible for immortal's essence to be absorbed by a more powerful immortal but no one has done this if done correctly the god or primordial will get the absorbed gods domains."

Everyone gave a nod hearing that as I continued "Also there was a war it seems like Set, Kronos and Lucifer made an alliance to conquer there own pantheons this led to an all-out war were other gods joined in to stop the let just say most of the titans captured or died and Major monster like Apophis, Typhon....etc were killed in that war."It seems the ordinary monsters normally reform due to huge belief but major monsters like typhon,Apophis....etc got destroyed due attacks from multiple divine weapons used during that time managed to fully destroy them scattering their essence to the point they are never going to return.

Val questioned, "What happened to Set, Kronos, and Lucifer?"I sighed and replied, "Set and Lucifer were imprisoned since both God and Ra just couldn't kill their own children while Kronos was cast into Tartarus after being sliced into multiple pieces by the Greek gods. But there were casualties in the war as many gods died somewhere scattered to even reform."

Mother who was silent in all this whispered "No wonder your father was in hurry to use the protection spell."This caught everyone including my attention as Mother spoke "Well your father already met founder's of the pantheons you mentioned he must have foreseen this war seeing the chances of some of our own getting recruited into the war was great and must have used the protection spell as a means to avoid this war and also Ragnarok."Odin does have the ability to see the future even though it is limited it was a really useful ability.

I sighed and thought "This backstory god has created is turning too complicated for me but I get where Odin is coming from taking out two birds with one stone.He made sure to stop Ragnarok and also made sure the Norse pantheon did not suffer from the War"I turned to mother and questioned, "So why were none of the others informed about these gods existing."

Frigga sighed and replied, "Actually your grandfather Bor, grandmother Bestla and, Heimdal knew about this, also your father had already started the discussion about the protection spell and everyone was forbidden from visiting Midgard at that time so it was more or less considered not important but for them to use people prayers as there source of power is not something I thought they will do."

The burial of Haraldson went without a problem as everyone was in one of the meeting halls since winter was coming as I heard Athelstan ask "Ragnar I heard many of your stories but tell me what is Ragnarok ?"

Everyone became quiet and stared at Atlelstan who continued "I heard mention of it several times, but so far no one has explained the meaning of to me."I saw people glaring at Athelstan as decided to diffuse the situation and said "Everyone stop glaring at him he is just curious unlike others he is at least trying to learn about our culture and about our gods."

Everyone nodded hearing that as all of them stood up I noticed smoke started to surround it some sort of hallucination effect the moment the seer entered the room saying "Twilight if the gods will happen like this there will be three years of terrible winters and summers of black sunlight people will lose all hope and surrender to greed, incest, and civil war. Jörmungandrthe world serpent will come lunging from the ocean, dragging tides and flooding the world. The wolf, giant Fenrir, will break his invisible chains the skies will open, Surtur, the fire giant will flaming across the bridge to destroy the gods. Odin will ride out gates of Valhalla to do battle for the last time against the wolf. Thor will kill the serpent but die from the venom. Surtur will spread fir across the earth at last Fenrir will swallow the sun "

I slightly grabbed Athelstan's should using magic to release him from the effects as he looked at me in confusion and whispered "What was that ?."I smirked and replied, "Neat trick huh the smoke you just breathed has some special plants in it that make you see things especially when the seer is saying things like that."

Athelstan who heard this just nodded and questioned "About what he said about Ragnarok is it true."I shook my head and replied, "No Ragnarok will not happen as my father Odin had cast a spell to protect us from it also Fenrir and Jörmungandr are not really that bad after all they are after all my brother's children they listen both Loki and me."

Athelstan smiled hearing that as I asked "So what do you plan on doing now"Athelstan was in deep thought and replied, "This is my life now also like Lady Frigga said God had given me the ability of free will so I can choose my own way."

I patted him on the shoulder hearing that as I went grabbed some ale to drink as I saw Ragnar came to me and asked, "Will accompany us to the west again."I smiled asked, "Are asking as the Jarl or as a friend."Ragnar replied, "As a friend."

I agreed as Lagertha who heard this asked "So when do we leave."I shrugged and replied "Next week."
