Chapter-5: Massacre and the Aftermath

(2 years later) (Uchiha Massacre)

(3rd POV)

Itachi was massacring the Uchiha clan. He decided to protect Konohagakure and end it once and for all.

His resolve was firm as he entered his fellow clan members' house and killing them.

While on his way, He encountered Fugaku who had activated his Mangekyo Sharingan.

"Itachi...What lies beyond this Slaughter?" he asked.

Itachi activated his own Mangekyo Sharingan.

"This."

"I see..." Fugaku said. Fugaku deactivated his Sharingan and burst into white smoke.

'A shadow clone!'

Itachi rushed towards his house using Body flicker jutsu. He arrived at his house.

'Father is the worst possible enemy for me.' he thought while searching the rooms for both his parents.

"Over here Itachi. There are no traps. Come inside." Fugaku said. One could recognize sadness, regret and pain in his voice.

"Father..." said Itachi.

"I don't want to participate in a death match with my son."

"Itachi promise me. You will take care of Sasuke and Kazuya. Especially Kazuya as he has suffered far worse than any of us as he was dragged in this charade and was trained and tortured since age of 2."

"I...it still pains me doing what I did to him. I hope he can forgive me." said Fugaku.

Itachi was extremely sad and a little confused. He never saw Kazuya training seriously but his performance was almost on par with Sasuke. A few things cleared up but still an air of mystery surrounded him.

"Our philosophies may differ, but I'm truly proud of you. You truly are a kind child." said Fugku.

One could hear Itachi sobbing. His hands were shaking and resolve was wavering. But he after a moment he hardened himself.

Suddenly wind sang as his tanto was raised and 2 swift slashes ended life of both his parents while Itachi had closed eyes.

Itachi felt only pain and sorrow overwhelming him. Something inside him broke. He simply despised himself and just wanted to take care of his beloved brothers now. He lost his will to live. Every single moment after taking the lives of his parents was just filled with pain.

After forcefully calming himself down, he took his Father's eyes and placed them in a crow's eyes.

He also destroyed his mother's eyes.

He came out of the house and was leaving but encountered Kazuya and Sasuke.

Both had a horrified expression, almost identical to each other.

"Nii-san what happened to the clan?! why are so many clan members dead?!" Sasuke said.

"I killed them, my naive little brothers." Itachi said as he steeled his resolve.

"B..but why..?" Kazuya asked while Sasuke was just stunned.

"To test my powers, Kazuya." Itachi said as he activated his Mangekyo Sharingan.

"When you both have the same eyes as me, come before me and face me. Until then, hate me. Abhor me." said Itachi.

He started to leave but was chased by both the brothers.

"Wait!" both Kazuya and Sasuke said simultaneously.

Sasuke threw a few Kunai towards Itachi but they were effortlessly deflected. Kazuya threw a shuriken and a tanto but they were deflected too.

Both Kazuya and Sasuke were injured and very exhausted because of the chase. they stopped and were breathing really irregularly.

(A/N: Sasuke was 7 and could only chase someone so far.)

Itachi stopped infront of them and took a hitai-ate and tied it on his head vertically. He put both of them in a genjutsu and both the brothers collapsed.

Both twins managed to awaken one-tomoe Sharingan but simply collapsed due to the exhaustion as well genjutsu.

Meanwhile, Itachi was sobbing silently as his eyes were flooded with tears yet again.

He took one last glance to both of them and simply left.

He lost his everything.

His family.

His clan.

His lover.

His best friend.

Only thing left were his brothers but he couldn't even take care of them. He couldn't even embrace his own brothers one last time.

(Kazuya POV)

After a few minutes of lying on the ground, I stood up and checked the surroundings to spot if any shinobi were there.

No one was here currently.

I carefully pulled out lens from my eyes which had one-tomoe Sharingan drawn and destroyed them by applying excess chakra to it.

I retrieved the Parasite A1 Sasuke version from my hidden pocket in shirt. This was an injection filled with nanobots.

It was connected to my own Nanobot A1 with a lot of chakra and ninshu related technology. It would give me one way access to Sasuke's chakra and memories.

[Parasite A1 Sasuke is now online. Chakra transferring and memory transferring is working.]

After confirming it, I destroyed the injection in similar way to eye lens and activated my 3-tomoe Sharingan and put myself in a genjutsu by looking myself in the glass shard.

I fainted.

After waking up, I found myself in the hospital.

I was next to Sasuke who was waking up too.

A nurse saw us and immediately left. I suppose she needs to tell the Doctor and the Hokage.

The doctor came and checked us. I was totally silent while Sasuke was sobbing.

After checking us he left and called in the Hokage.

"Are both of you alright now?" said the Hokage.

I needed to put up a convincing act so I decided I would start.

"Where is nii-san? Is the clan alright?" I said while tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

"Unfortunately they are dead Kazuya. I'm sorry but we couldn't save them." said Hokage.

When Hokage completed the sentence, I began tears fell from my eyes and Sasuke screamed in sorrow.

Sasuke fainted yet again.

"Please rest for now. I believe that you need a break from all this." Hokage said as he left.

I felt...empty. I knew all this but damn...

It really stings my heart.

After a few days of staying in hospital, both of us were discharged.

We went to the clan compound. It was silent contrary to other days.

We arrived at our house.

We checked all the rooms but they were cleaned.

But smell of cleaning solution and blood was still lingering in the atmosphere.

Sasuke's eyes were filled with rage, sorrow, regret and betrayal.

"We should check our room. We will leave the training for tomorrow." I said.

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! DO YOU NOT FEEL ANYTHING?! OUR PARENTS JUST DIED AND THEY WERE KILLED BY ITACHI! ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO NOT DO ANYTHING?!" he screamed.

SLAP.

I slapped him.

"SILENCE." I said.

"Do you seriously think that I don't feel anything?! I feel as if my heart is crushed over and over again but this feeling is useless. Only our efforts will bear fruit. Everything else is useless. Drowning in sorrow and not accepting reality is a sign of weakness and spinelessness. That is what otou-san used to teach me, Brother."

"We need to accept the truth. I will help us grow strong to take revenge on him. Currently we are far too weak. We cannot do anything. But with proper efforts we can." I lectured him.

"You are going to rest while I take care of a few matters. We will start training tomorrow morning and start going to academy day after tomorrow." I said.

"..o...ok." he was surprised by my reaction as I was always calm, playful and happy in front of everyone.

I left the house and went to the Hokage tower.

My plan's part 2 will begin now.

As I was walking I received many glances which were filled with pity but I chose to ignore them.

I arrived to Hokage tower.

"I have an appointment to Hokage-sama. My name is Kazuya Uchiha." I said as to a lady on the reception.

"Please wait here for a bit. I will tell Hokage-sama." she said.

I waited for a bit and was promptly called inside the Office.

"Ah Kazuya. Take a seat. I heard that you wanted to talk to me." Hokage said with a smile.

"Yes Hokage-sama. I will begin. As the clan leader, my Father is currently no more, the position of the heir is passed on to me. I want all the records of Uchiha property including Land, Business contracts, Jutsu and other things." I said.

He gave me a questioning look.

He frowned a bit and said "Unfortunately it won't be possible. Not everything can be given to you as you are far too young for that. How about I give you a seperate place to live. After all, the clan compound may deteriorate your mentality and I am very worried about you."

"Hokage-sama do not treat me like an idiot. There are no rules that state that." I said.

"Yes it is true there are no rules like that but you are still a child. I cannot allow you to suffer even more." he said.

'This old sh*t is really persistent isn't he? No wonder he could talk no jutsu Naruto, who was one of the best user of talk no jutsu.'

"I believe that you should do what was asked. I cannot afford to watch the clan to be slowly dismantled and distributed. It is rightfully ours. If we can't sustain it then it is our business. Please Hokage-sama." I said in a little desperate tone.

"That is true....but be careful Kazuya. There will be many greedy people that will try to take it away." he said in an understanding tone.

'This monkey is really shameless.'

He asked his assistant to bring a huge bundle of files.

They contained information of resources related to Uchiha clan. It also had a lot of scrolls.

"Here is everything related to Uchiha clan. Please be careful with them." he said.

I checked them and found that a few scrolls of jutsu and some documents related houses in perimeter of the clan were missing.

"There are only 191 scrolls here. We had 203 scrolls originally. Also the documents related to houses in the perimeter of the clan compound are not here. Please stop these cheap tricks Hokage-sama." I said to him.

He was surprised that I knew this much. He coughed in embarrassment.

"I will properly check them. I believe there is some mistake." he said.

After a proper assessment I left the office with the huge bundle of files. The scrolls were stored inside a few storage scrolls.

I arrived at the house and checked all the files thoroughly. I was good at Stock market and properties because of being an orphan in my previous world. The process here missed a few steps but that only tipped the scale in my favour.

After analyzing all of this, I kept these files and storage scrolls in a corner and called Sasuke in the living room where I was currently.

"What do you want?" He said.

"18 million ryo. How long do you think you can survive with that amount?" I asked him.

He was a little confused but answered anyway "I could last a lifetime. Why do you ask?"

"That much money is being spent by the clan currently as we speak." I dropped a bomb.

"Per year?" He was really shocked.

"Per month." I dropped yet another bomb.

"WHAT?! What should we do?! This much money is being wasted!" he panicked a bit.

"Control yourself. This is what we are going to do. I will handle the financial part but then we can only keep the training ground and our own house for ourselves. Rest of the stuff will be sold and invested by me." I said.

He threw me a look that said 'Do you even know what you're doing.'

A tick mark appeared on my head.

I smiled and punched him on the head lightly.

"Of course I do, idiot. If I didn't then I wouldn't have collected all these files and Jutsus." I said.

"I agree then. There is no choice after all." He said.

I felt happy that he decided to trust me.

"Okay then. I will do it. Now help me with a few things. I need to sort everything. This will ensure the money that we need to become a ninja." I said.

"Okay." he said.

(A/N: That was it for now. Now we start the training and other plans.

School time will begin now.

Sasuke will be a little different that canon as he didn't lose everything and still got his brother.
