I reincarnated in my favorite novel as Darkness

an ordinary 18-year-old boy who loved to read novels about reincarnation, died after reacting to a robbery, but did not expect to be reincarnated in his favorite novel. What he didn't imagine is that he wasn't the main character, nor the villain, much less an extra, he was someone that all existences feared, demons, angels and gods, he was the unknown, the fear, the despair of his enemies. He was someone who should have been dead by now...he was the darkness. (Summary for those who don't understand, he is a being that can face the creator of all beings, someone who was born together with the creator.) (A war was fought in the past between the creator and the darkness, although the creator won the war he never managed to kill the darkness and charles was reborn as the new darkness and will wreak irreparable havoc on history.) (I don't speak English, so it is possible that there are grammatical errors): sorry)

Brian vs ghost

3 days later...

Brian was walking down a street in Rio de Janeiro, his clothes were simple; a white shorts, a white summer and beach shirt, and sunglasses.

(The ambient temperature was 30 ºC)

Brian turned a corner and saw an avenue. In front of the avenue was the slum, where his goal was.

He crossed the avenue busy with cars and started to enter the slum.

Brian noticed that the favelas were something totally different from the rest of Rio de Janeiro.

He looked and saw several shirtless kids playing soccer, some were even dancing, but ignoring all this, he started to go deeper and deeper into the favela.

After a long period of walking, he reached the front of a hill, but just as he was about to start climbing, a woman stopped him and said:

"I think it is better not to go up, even if you are a hero or a villain, if you go up the hill, death is certain."

Brian looked at her and noticed her appearance; a woman with the color black and the age of 20, her hair was long to her waist and braided, her eyes were black and she had an extremely beautiful appearance. But something that had caught Brian's attention was the perfect body the girl had, it was something with proportion in just the right measure.

Brian took off his sunglasses and answered her calmly in Portuguese, while looking into her eyes:

"If it's that dangerous, you can come up with me."

The woman laughed and spoke:

"Pffff, you are very funny."

She looked at Brian and realized that he was not laughing and asked:

"Wait, are you serious?!"

"Yes."

She sighed and told him:

"I don't know who you are or your strength, but going up the hill without permission is suicide."

Brian thought about the girl's warnings for a while and said to her:

"Can you save something for me?"

The woman asked curiously:

"What?"

Brian pulled a small sphere out of his pocket and tossed it in the air toward her.

The woman looked at the sphere in the air and when it was about to fall to the ground, she used her foot and stopped it from touching the ground and asked brian:

"What is it?"

"It's a sphere I got from my mother, in case I die, I want you to give it to her."

Suddenly, the silver sphere, began to emit a red glow and Brian said:

"It's because of Christmas, don't worry about the light, just keep it for me."

The woman examined the sphere and asked:

"Are you really going up the hill?"

Brian started up without answering her.

Suddenly, the girl began to pray, that Brian would return safe and sound.

.

.

.

When finally Brian had climbed the entire hill, ten people appeared and suddenly attacked him.

(Many tourists die every year in Rio de Janeiro because of this. Their GPS calculates a route where they enter a favela where there is a drug faction, and since they are not allowed into the favela, the criminals shoot them mercilessly. That is why to walk through the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, you need information, because some of them are dangerous, but you can walk calmly in a dangerous one if you get permission, and usually the criminals don't care if you are a tourist, but you never go by car, they will shoot you for sure (^-^)

But already expecting this outcome, Brian used his intangibility and went inside the grounds.

They all didn't understand anything, but when they realized, Brian was behind them.

They felt a shiver down their spine and knew that this was a sure death, but to break the tension in the air, Brian said:

"I'm Brian Mallet, tell your boss I'm here, he knows me."

The group didn't know if it was a trap or not, but they knew they couldn't handle the situation inappropriately and one of them said:

"Where do you know the boss from?"

Brian started to look for something in his pocket, but that simple movement, caused everyone to go on guard.

Brian took a cigarette from his pocket, lit it and replied:

"I traded information with him two years ago."

Immediately, one of them, picked up a radio and said:

"There's a Brian Mallet saying he knows the boss, how should we..."

Interrupting him, the voice on the radio spoke:

"Bring him to the boss."

They were startled and looked at Brian and realized that the story was true and immediately, they let their guard down and one of them said:

"Follow me, I'll take you to the boss."

Brian nodded and started to follow him.

After much walking, they finally arrived at a small unpainted house, the cement was visible on the bricks that supported the house.

The man opened the door and walked in, in response, Brian followed him into the house.

After entering, Brian noticed a long straight white hallway with white marble floors and a large chandelier in the middle of the hallway.

The man looked at Brian and said pointing to the end of the hallway.

"He's over there."

Brian looked where the man pointed and noticed that there was a door and started walking to it.

He stopped in front of the door and looked back and realized that no one was there and decided to go ahead and open it.

As he opened the door, he noticed a spacious office and a man sitting there while writing something on the paper on the table.

Brian looked at the man and noticed his appearance; a man in his 40's, his black hair was all slicked back and he had a scraggly beard.

The man looked at Brian and stopped writing and said as he smoothed his beard:

"Damn, you look like shit in."

Brian put out his cigarette and sat down in the chair that was in front of the table and said:

"Good to see you too, Balthazar."

Baltazar leaned forward and faced Brian just inches from his eyes and said quickly:

"Tch, tch, tch, tch, tch."

Brian looked at him without trembling or blinking, and Balthazar returned to his seat and asked:

"Were you able to find your friend's killer?"

Brian looked at a bottle of whiskey on the table, picked it up and started pouring it into a glass, and answered:

"No."

"Hm, too bad, so what's a piece of shit like you, come here to do in the dump?"

Brian took his shot of whiskey and replied:

"I want information."

Balthazar began to smooth his beard again and said:

"I've heard about what you've been doing.... In just two years, you've become an S-class..."

Brian poured himself and took another shot and replied:

"I want information, balthazar."

Balthazar leaned back in his chair and asked:

"How much are you going to pay?"

"Aren't you going to do it for free? After all, we are old friends."

Balthazar became irritated and said:

"Don't stuff it."

Suddenly, Brian pulled a white envelope from his pocket and placed it on the table.

Balthazar took his glasses and opened the envelope and read the contents inside and said:

"Hm, $30 million? You know the dollar is devalued after that terrorist attack two years ago."

Brian answered him calmly:

"€70 million, is that good?"

"Geez, you know I'm above that."

"€200 million."

Balthazar began to smooth his beard again and said:

"€1 billion and we close the deal."

Brian shook his head and said:

"No, the most I will pay is €200 million."

Balthazar stood up and pointed towards the door and said:

"The exit is that way, when you leave, please close the door."

He sat down and went back to writing something on a piece of paper.

After a while, Baltazar realized that Brian was still in the office and stared at him with a calm, cold stare.

Baltazar stopped writing and took off his glasses and said:

"€999 million and we close the deal, take advantage of the fact that I'm doing promotion."

Brian replied calmly:

"I left a small sphere with a beautiful girl who lives in the slum below, and that small sphere, it's programmed to explode whenever I want it, and the explosion would easily blow up a few blocks... Wouldn't that be sad? people with a great future ahead of them, Being killed because of a simple negotiation."

Balthazar smoothed his beard and said:

"Interesting, You from the past, you wouldn't do that."

Brian took another swig of whiskey and replied:

"I have changed, so we are closing the deal for 100 million?"

"I thought it was 200 million..."

"Just as I have changed, the price will also change."

Balthazar knew he was at a disadvantage, but he didn't care and asked:

"Do you still remember what my innate ability is?"

"It was something about the future and the soul, wasn't it?"

"Yes, it was exactly that and I assume you want information about the ghost, don't you?"

Brian didn't answer him and Balthazar said again:

"Lately I've been dreaming about something recurring.... I see you dead and a person with black eyes and a moon tattoo on his forehead, smiling at you."

Brian exhaled the air in his lungs and replied:

"We are all destined to die one day, no matter if someone goes sooner or later, in the end, the result is the same."

"Hm, you're crazy to die, aren't you?"

Brian answered her calmly as he looked at the whiskey on the table:

"Death seems less terrible when you're tired..."

Balthazar intertwined his fingers and said:

"You are someone strange, Brian Mallet.... But since I'm your old friend, I'll do it for a measly €100 million."

"Good, do you have any information about the ghost?"

Balthazar stood up, went to a window and said:

"Come see the execution."

Brian didn't understand why he always changed the subject, but he got up out of curiosity and went to the window and when he looked out, he was surprised.

(They were 300 meters off the ground.)

Brian looked down and noticed that there were some people gathered and a man inside a pile of peneus and asked:

"What did he do?"

"Hm, it looks like he robbed someone within the community."

Brian kept his gaze fixed on the man who appeared to be 16 years old and noticed that he was wet with gasoline and reflected:

'If it was me from back in the day, would I save that kid?'

Suddenly, one of the men, lit a torch and leaned against the gasoline-soaked peneo and the boy began to be burned alive.

(Detail: 'The criminal court' or crime justic, in Rio de Janeiro, is something that exists inside of factions and favelas, usually, there are rules and if you break any, they literally use this method to execute people, the most famous method is the one I depicted, but relax that it is only with people that are involved in crime (^_^)

Brian kept his cold stare as the boy screamed, he didn't blink even once, but curious, he asked:

"Why did you want me to see this?"

Balthazar started walking to his chair, and as he sat down, he replied:

"I wanted to show you that the community, is a society like any other, only I who make the laws here, and I know that if you try to harm the community, you will receive the same punishment as that boy."

Brian looked at him with his cold, calm eyes and replied:

"Do you have any information about the ghost?"

Balthazar went back to writing in the paper and replied:

"Everyone fears him... A year ago, he exterminated the mobsters in Italy and created his empire there, after a month, he went to England, then to Japan, then to Mexico. Wherever he went, the bodies were left behind, but do you know what the kinship is with all these countries?"

Brian thought for a while and answered:

"In each country, there was a crime empire."

Balthazar stopped writing and suddenly started folding the paper and stuffed it into an envelope and said:

"There were 5 crime empires in the world, now there is only one left.... I think you must already have an idea which country, the fanstama is going to."

Brian's eyes widened and he said shocked:

"But the last empire that exists, isn't it here?"

Suddenly, they heard a huge explosion, something that shook the entire office.

Brian hurriedly ran to the window and saw that half of the slum where he was currently located had exploded and said:

"He's here!"

(It is likely to decrease the frequency of one chapter per day.

I've been working during the day and I only have time at night, usually that's when I have free time and start writing the chapters.

so i'll try to make time to take care of my health, but chapter rate is likely to be every other day)
