41 Nine Yin Dew Crystals

"Ok, then, darling" Sighed Xia Ning Chang, giving up on reasoning with him "We are gonna do as you like"

After minutes of walking

"Hey, guys, w-why is it getting so cold?" Yang Jia said, shaking a lot due to the tremendously low temperature.

"I think that's because we reached the place" Xia Ning Chang pointed, as she activated again the barrier of her artifact to protect the purple haired girl.

"Yes, I think we definitely found it" Nie Yong said, a chill running through his body.

The group quickly passed the bushes, reaching an area without vegetation, a purple mist covering its entirety, temperatures so low that a normal person would freeze right away to death. Fortunately, Yang Jia was protected by the artifact's shield or only ice would have remained of her body.

And in the center of the mist a luminous blue flower bud was floating.

"The Nine Yin Dew Crystals!" Xia Ning Chang yelled out of excitement, finally founding what she came here for.

"Those are the Nine Yin Dew Crystals? So beautiful" Yang Jia, instead, couldn't help herself but be amazed by the incredible beauty that those crystals displayed.

"Indeed" confirmed Nie Yong, his eyes locked on the flower buds, they really were too wonderful.

"Now, darling could you please help me to take them?" Xia Ning Chang called Nie Yong out of his amazement, only for him to fall into another one, her beauty "Of course i'll help you, my love"

The handsome lad took his wife from the waist and they started looking at each other with so much passion that the two seemed to almost start dual cultivating right in that moment.

"Guys!!" A jealous Yang Jia yelled, she felt so much like a third wheel right now.

"Cough...cough...right" Nie Yong immediately let go off Xia Ning Chang's waist and said "So... how are gonna catch it, Chang'er?"

"You... have to put it in your m-mouth" Xia Ning Chang stuttered to say, a blush appearing on her face, but unfortunately covered by her veil.

"I have to put it into-" but Nie Yong's words were cut by the surge of a powerfull chilling aura.

"It's here!" Xia Ning Chang said excited, illusory fires appearing in her eyes as the blue flower buds gathered into one, forming an enormous white flower buds, which was blossoming in that moment. The chilling Yin Qi around becoming even stronger than it already was before.

From the huge white blossomed flower a drop of blue liquid with the form of a pill came up, floating in the air and emitting an aura so strong that even Nie Yong was having trouble to endure since he wasn't protected by Xia Ning Chang's artifact.

"Darling, step back a little" Xia Ning Chang said as she charged up her Qi, a purple aura surging from her "I'm gonna restrict its movement so we can catch it"

Her purple aura surge ceased and white chains appeared all around Xia Ning Chang "Nine Yin Eight Locks Array: Yin Chains"

The chains were thrown towards the floating blue liquid, namely the Nine Yin Dew Crystals, and then locked it in a cage. "Lock!" shout Xia Ning Chang "I have restricted its movement, darling, it's up to you now"

"Yes, my love" Nie Yong quickly gave a kiss on the cheek to his wife, before creating a net with his own scorching and pure Qi and, with it, he caught the blue liquid.

Then, he inserted the net, together with the blue liquid, in his mouth. His tongue was about to freeze and his body was shaking from the cold generated by the Nine Yin Dew Crystals, so Nie Yong decided to use his own Qi to counterattack the chilling that he was filling.

But, unfortunately, something bad, that he knew would have occured, started happening: his Unyelding Golden Skeleton started absorbing the Nin Yin Dew Crystals at a great pace, so great that in barely few moments, half of the blue liquid was gone.

[The host has absorbed the Nine Yin Dew Crystals!]

[The host's Yin Qi has been strenghtened as well as the host's meridian network!]

[The host has gained the trait, Nature's Qi!]

"So many things?" Thought Nie Yong as the system's notification appeared towards him "And meridian network strenghtening? Maybe i can cure Yang Jia's body with this"

But the lad had to dispell his thoughts quickly as he noticed that the blue liquid was still being passively absorbed.

So, Nie Yong rushed to Xia Ning Chang, who unveiled herself and looked at the former with passion, before her sweet lips sealed his.

Nie Yong placed his hands around his wife's waist and the kiss seemed much longer than it had to be, maybe they were extinguishing the passion that their eyes showed just moments before.

Then, suddendly Xia Ning Chang interrupted the kiss by biting Nie Yong's tongue, something the latter knew would have happened as well. Although the shy girl didn't really want to bite his tongue and making her own husband bleed, but she had to as she needed a drop of blood to be able to absorb the blue liquid.

"Thanks, darling" Xia Ning Chang said to her husband, genuinely smiling.

"No need to, Chang'er" Nie Yong smiled back at his wife "Now, you should quickly start absorbing the Nine Yin Dew Crystals, which I suppose you took out of my mouth together with my blood, right?"

"I-i'll start right now" Stuttered Xia Ning Chang because of Nie Yong's teased and, to hide the blush on her face, she quickly sat down in a lotus position and started absorbing the blue liquid.
