44 Chapter 44
I stood there behind Claude in awe of how quickly Cosmo's expression could change in just a blink of an eye
While Claude stood infront of me and seems to be glaring at Cosmo as Cosmo looked back not moving an inch with a smile on his face

"..."
"..."
And silence filled the room as the three of us stared at each other
And the more it gets quieter the more the atmosphere feels different and heavy
And to break this silence I went and talked
"How are you Cosmo?"
I asked awkwardly
Cosmo then looked at me and just smiled without saying anything
He's really angry huh?
I thought to myself
"Who are you to Athy?"
Claude asked with an icy tone of voice
Cosmo turned his gaze from me to Claude with a smile that is different from his usual
"I'm Athy's friend!"
Cosmo anawered with a grin on his face
"I haven't seen you around Athy before though, who are you?"
Claude asked again with his face still dissatisfied with Cosmo
"If you had just attended classes, you would have known me by now..."
Cosmo answered with a smile
With Claude looking back at him
Silence was there once again
*Clap!*
"Why not continue this discussion later?"
I said trying to break the ice as I clapped my hands
Claude looked at me with gentle smile and eyes while Cosmo looked at me with eyes that would stab me and smile that could kill me
I ignored it and turned around to walk away Claude followed and so does Cosmo
He fixed his clothes and Cosmo walked beside me along with Claude
And so as we walk through the hallway Cosmo begun to speak to me inside of my head
"What happened while I was away?"
Cosmo asked curious nudging me with his elbow
I looked at him then looked back to where I was going
Claude's mother showed when I was lost
I said softly with anger
"Is that so...?"
Cosmo said and went quiet
I don't know what he was talking about but he seems to be thinking deep
I stared at him worrying to what he was thinking
Cosmo then looked at Claude with a serious face and thought again

Why is he looking at Claude for?
I thought
Claude noticed his and my gaze and tilted his head looking at me
"Is there something wrong with my face?"
Claude asked
I then shook my head as fast to deny it he then smiled at me and looked to his way
Cosmo who was looking at Claude earlier is now looking straight ahead with a smile on his face
I was shocked and in awe by how he could forget and change his expression
What were you thinking about?
I asked Cosmo telepathically
Cosmo gave me a glance and smirked a little
"That's just something you should know wh-"
Cosmo answered but before he could even finish his sentence I then interrupted and continued what he was saying
When the time is right, that's what you were gonna say right?
I said with an annoyed tone
"Yes yes! what a good wittle gurl you are"
Cosmo teasingly said inside of my head made me even more annoyed
Shut up!
I shouted at him
But he just continued to walk and smiled
When is that right time?
I asked again at Cosmo as I looked at him beside me
"Even I don't know about that..."
Cosmo said as his smile faded away
What do you mean even you don't know?
I asked again
"It depends on you if you are ready to know... All of it"
Cosmo said as he looked at Claude again who was in front of us
I then followed Cosmo's gaze to see what was going on but Claude was justing walking quietly
I turned my gaze again and to see him still looking at Claude
"But i'm ready though?"
I said asking
Without looking at me Cosmo answered
"She did not show again in your dreams, then that must mean you're not ready yet"
Cosmo answered
"..."
I kept quiet and stared at him
But again Cosmo was still looking at Claude and so I wondered and asked
Do you like Claude, Cosmo?
I asked looking at him suspiciously
He then quickly looked at me his eyes widened and his cheeks turning red...
As I saw that expression my eyes widened in shock and my cheeks felt hot and flushed red
Does he really...?
I wondered
"Do you really-"
But before I could finish what I was saying Cosmo then interrupted with him bursting out laughing
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Cosmo laughed so hard
And once again I was shocked to see him laughing loudly not in my head but he was really laughing physically that even Claude could hear it
"What's so funny there?"
Claude looked at me with a smile on his face wondering what was so funny
I looked at Claude with my cheeks flushing red embarrassed that I had come to that conclusion leaving Claude knowing nothing
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Cosmo then again laughed so hard as he nudge my side and kept on patting my back
I tried so hard hiding my face away from Cosmo
When all of a sudden someone pulled me away and as I looked up Claude was the one who pulled me
I was in shock as he stared at Cosmo with glaring eyes
And Cosmo who was wiping his tears away from laughing
Claude then looked at me and asked
"Are you ok? why is your cheeks red?"
Claude touched my face and came closer to and asked as if he was worried and anxious
With him coming even closer made me even more red!
What is he anxious about?!
I thought inside of my head
"No no no! i'm fine Claude it's just that I thought of something embarrassing that's my cheeks are red"
I said explaining myself
"Are you sure? is it not because you like him?"
Claude asked and as he stared at me with blank and nervous expression
".....What?"
I said confused
"What?! why would I like him?!"
I answered shocked
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Cosmo then once again burst out laughing behind us
I looked back at Cosmo with annoyed look and turned to look at Claude who was staring right at me ignoring Cosmo in the back
"Do you not like him?"
Claude asked again
"Of course not, Why would I like that idiot?"
I said pointing at Cosmo who was until now laughing loudly
Claude then followed where I was pointing and gave a blank look once again
He then looked back at me and gave me a gentle smile
"You're right, why would you like someone like him"
Claude said smiling at me giving a sigh of relief
He really doesn't like Cosmo huh?
I thought to myself
"Let's go then Athy"
Claude said smiling looking back at me as he reached his hand out to me and held my hand leading me the way
As I turned back around to see Cosmo still giggling to himself alone
And as he noticed we were far gone he then quickly followed us from behind running as fast as he could to follow us
I then looked at him smirking satisfied he then stuck his tongue at me and runs
towards us

After awhile that was happening as the sun was now starting to set
The three of us sat in the guests room and drank tea quietly
I looked to my right window to see a beautiful garden with the sun as clear as day seen to be setting
Claude seemed to have notice that I was looking that way and he gave a gentle smile and called out to me
"Would you like to go there?"
Claude asked
I then turned my head towards Claude who was sitting across me on a sofa to see him smiling at me sweetly
"Yes!"
I answered enthusiastically
I then looked to my left to see Cosmo sleeping in my lap soundly
Claude turned his gaze to Cosmo too he was smiling but in a different way
"It will be just a short walk"
Claude said with a smile
"Ok then!"
I answered without any second thoughts
As I stood up and I got worried that Cosmo might feel uncomfortable and so I reached the pillow that was near me and rested Cosmo's head on that
"We'll be back"
I whispered to Cosmo
Cosmo moved a little and turned to look the other way
*Click*
Claude opened the door
"Let's go Athy before the sun sets"
Claude said with a smile
I turned to look at Cosmo to see him still sleeping soundly, I smiled to myself and then walked with Claude to the garden
