33 Chapter 33

"We're getting closer"

said Cosmo with a smile on his face happily swaying his head

"Yes"

I answered shortly

Cosmo looked at me and tilted his head trying to look at me

I noticed and turned my head to the side to avoid his stare

He just shrugged and continued doing his own thing

A lot of bumpy roads later

We finally arrived at home and it was already night time

Cosmo walked out of the carriage first and offered his hand out to me

I placed my hand on his and got down safely

The carriage then went away then the both of us staring at my house

"I'm home"

I mumbled

Cosmo looked amazed by our house

It was a simple house but grand at the same time

I can't explain the details but our house is definitely beautiful

The days that I was away from the house was taken care of

It was very clean compared to I first arrived here

*Bang!*

The both of us heard the banging noise of a door

"That must be mother"

I said

Cosmo looked at me then looked back at the woman who was running closer and closer to us

"Athy you're back!"

Mother happily said

"Madame please stop running you'll fall!"

Miya screamed after

Poor Miya trying to stop my mother from running towards me

But that's mother no one can stop her at this point

Mother then finally arrived and smiled happily

"Athy You're here I was waiting!"

Mother happily looked at me caressing my face

She noticed Cosmo beside me and her face then lit up in excitement

"A guest?! We haven't had guest's in years"

Mother said happily looking at Cosmo

Cosmo smiled back as a response to mother's delighted stare

"Miya quickly prepare something for the guest!"

Mother looked at Miya and wave her hand to tell her to go back and prepare

Miya understood and quickly went inside

Mother then looked at the both of us happily

"Come! please come in"

Mother then opened the house gate and let the both of us come in

Mother then went infront of us walking slowly and smiling so brightly and we followed from the back

I gave a smile and giggled a little

I went near my mother's ear and whispered

"What got you so happy about?"

I asked smiling

Mother gave me a glance and smiled and looked back at the road

"I'm happy because my dear daughter is back"

Mother happily answered

I smiled back

Mother then went near me

"And why didn't you tell me you were bringing a handsome gentleman?"

Mother whispered at me

Cosmo who was eavesdropping on our conversation heard mother complimented him

I looked at him giving him an annoyed look

His face lit up hearing my mother's compliment and blushed slightly

He then fixed his hair and clothes to look even more presentable

Cosmo then looked at me moving his eyebrows up and down and giving me thumbs up

He looks so happy and I wanted to ruin that but since i'm home i'll leave him be

I gave Cosmo a smile he then grinned happily back at me

The three of us then finally arrived in front of our door

Miya opened it slowly and greeted me

"Welcome home young miss!"

Miya happily said

She noticed Cosmo beside me and quickly changed her posture and acted professional

"Welcome young master"

Miya bowed down and said respectfully at Cosmo

Cosmo smiled back

"You don't have to be formal around me"

Cosmo waving both of his hands at Miya

Miya who seemed nervous can't handle it and nods her head very roughly

"Oh dear..."

Mother touched her face smiling sweetly looking at Miya who was very shy around Cosmo

"Miya is a very shy girl Cosmo"

I said looking at him

Cosmo then smiled back and nodded his bead softly

"Have you prepared some tea for the guest Miya?"

Mother asked

"Yes I did I'll go get them"

Miya said nodding her head

She then went to the kitchen to where the tea was

"Thank you Miya!"

Mother said looking at her going to the kitchen

I tugged Cosmo's sleeve and showed him to the living room

Cosmo.the looked at me and followed me as I pulled his sleeve

"Sit here and wait i'll be telling mother you'll be staying here for a few days"

I said pointing at the sofa to let him sit

Cosmo sat down and looked up at me smiling

"Yeah sure go do your thing"

Cosmo said

I nodded my head then went to mother who was fixing the photos on the shelf

"Mother, Cosmo will be staying here for 2 days if you don't mind"

I asked as I help mother with arranging the photos

"Yes he can, the guest room is already clean you can show him there"

Mother looked at me smiling weirdly

I tilted my head and looked at mother in confusion

"What is it?"

I asked

"Oh nothing, I just can't believe my daughter is growing up"

Mother continuing on arranging the photos

I then looked at mother confused again

"At first I thought it was Claude, but then you got close to Cythe and thought that it must be him and now you brought another?"

I once again gave her the look of confusion

"What are you talking about?"

I asked mother who was blushing and smiling

Mother looked at me and gave me a weird smile saying

"There is no need to hide it dear, you see your mother is quite popular back then you must have got that from me"

Mother smiled sweetly at me then walked away to the living room where Cosmo is at

Mother stopped to look at me standing still gave me a thumbs up and a smile

"What is wrong with the people in this world?"

I mumbled continuing cleaning the shelf

After a while a finished cleaning and went to the living room to see both mother and Cosmo happily chatting

"What are you guys talking about?"

I asked

The both of them looked at each other and giggled creepily together

Miya then came and said

"Young master, your bath is ready"

The both of them looked at Miya then looked back at each other

"Oh your bath is ready"

Mother said as she starts to stand up Cosmo stood after

"Well then, it was nice chatting with you young man"

Mother happily said

Cosmo smiled brightly

"Yes, I had fun chatting with you too madame"

Cosmo happily replied

"I'll be going now, good night everyone"

Mother then went to bed Miya taking her to her room

"Good night too mother"

I said

Mother waving back at me good night

Both me and Cosmo looked at each other

I looked at Cosmo suspiciously while Cosmo looked t me happily

"What did mother and you talked about?"

I asked squinting my eyes suspiciously looking at him

Cosmo did not break a sweat looking at me smiling and calmly told me

"It is a secret that me and your mom had talked about"

Putting his finger in front of his mouth

I looked at him confused

"Your mother specifically told me not to tell you and my lips are sealed"

Cosmo said jokingly zipping his mouth

I looked at him annoyed but decided to drop it

"Go and take your bath now"

I said waving my hand and walking away

"Won't you help me take a bath Athy?"

Cosmo said joking with his eyes sparkling

I got annoyed and was thinking of throwing the flower that was on the vase but decide to calm down

I looked back at Cosmo and calmly(?) said

"Cosmo, go and take your bath if you don't want to sleep outside beside the shovel of our gardening tools if you don't stop saying stupid things"

Smiling back annoyed at Cosmo who was giggling stupidly

"I was just joking, you're taking it too seriously Athy"

Gave me a shrugged posture

Cosmo then slowly walked past me happily making fun of me

I ignored it and was about to walk away

But Cosmo grabbed my arm and said

"Hey where are you going?"

Cosmo asked looking straight into my eyes

"Back to my room?"

I said answering his question

"But what about me?"

Cosmo pointing at himself

"What about you?"

I asked back

"I don't know where my room is and the bathroom!"

Cosmo annoyingly said furrowing his brows

"Oh right forgot to tell you"

I said

I then showed Cosmo where to go and where the other rooms are

I showed him his room for last and he went inside

As I was about to walk away

"Pssst"

Cosmo called for me

"Yes?"

I asked looking at Cosmo confused

"Let's go to town early tomorrow we need to go and I need show you something"

Cosmo said peeking out of his door

"But I need to go and visit Claude first though?"

I said looking at him confused

Cosmo then sighed heavily and looked up to me again

"Then i'll go to town first then you go visit Claude"

Cosmo said

I nod my head as a response to what he said

"You better go to town after!"

Cosmo whispered yelling at me

I then stick out my tongue at Cosmo

Cosmo annoyed looking at me made me giggle

"Athy!"

Cosmo whispered shouting my name

"Fine fine"

I said rolling my eyes smiling and waving my hands

Cosmo nodded satisfied by my answer

We then said our good nights and slept

"Night Athy"

Cosmo said softly

"Night Cosmo"

I answered back then went to my room and went to sleep
