What?

My safety?

"W-wait Cythe? I don't thi-"

I tried asking him what is the danger i'm in

He ignored me and talked to the old lady

"Strange things kept on occuring around her lately"

Wha-?!

Why are you ignoring me I need to know!

"This things could be explained by magic but we want to know who's behind all this"

Cythe continued to ignore me and kept asking the old lady

Nevermind if it's about my safety i'll shut my mouth and listen

Strange things kept on occuring....

That's true

It started when I was 8 after my birthday

It was quite weird how things kept on happening and thought that it was just a coincidence

And the incidents stopped when I turned 10

But when I arrived at school at the time I met Ina

And then the tree suddenly broke and almost fell on me

If it wasn't for Josefina saving me

I might have been gone right now

Then I saw people with black and purple robes

That's when I knew that these things are not just a mere coincidence

I thought as I rub my chin

She shrugged her shoulders talking to Cythe

Cythe seemed disappointed so is Claude, Josefina, and Me

"But!"

The old lady raised her finger and said

"What i can tell you is your future that even that young miss"

As she pointed towards Josefina

"Can't tell"

I asked myself

"What do you mean Grandma?"

I asked

"Don't you know? the young miss over there can see the future!"

She yelled happily

Josefina looked away from both of us guilty of not telling us the truth

"I guess your friendship isn't as great as I thought?"

The old lady questioned us

"It's not like that!"

Josefina then yelled at the old lady

I held Josefina back to avoid any further commotion that may happen here

She then followed my grip and stepped back

She feels so sorry

I was shocked that she did not mention this to me

I was the one who knew her first and yet she told Cythe first

I felt betrayed....

It really is going in the right direction they'll have their own happy ending

But what about me and Claude?

Will we die?!

I shook my head as hard as I could to stop thinking about those thoughts

I then felt someone grabbing my hand softly

I looked up to see who it was and it was Josefina

She wanted to explain the reason

But I shook my head and said

"Let's talk about this later ok?"

*Nod nod*

She then nods her head desperately

"Tell us the future now old lady"

Cythe then demanded the old lady to tell us

"This disrespectful boy!"

The old lady said dissatisfied but Cythe did not even flinched and kept on looking at the old lady fiercely

"Hays you don't have to worry so much this old lady will still tell you"

As she scratched her head

"But since I am telling you what lies ahead, and this knowledge that i'll be sharing with you will take a toll on me"

The old lady said pitifully acting

"Just cut to the chase!"

Claude then angrily answered

"Oh! we got another feisty one here!"

The old lady said as she raised both of her hands up

"Just tell us the future you see Grandma"

I asked the old lady

She then turned to look at me and said

"Yeah yeah, but you kids have to pay for my service and my knowledge, so if you don't got money i won't tell ya!"

The old lady said while crossing her arms

Josefina Patted my hands to signal she needs to g

And I let go of her

She then went near the old lady's table and placed a bag of coins on the table she's at

"Who say's we won't pay you?"

Josefina said giving her a tiny smirk

The old lady then turned to look at her raising one of her eyebrows

"Is this really the money?"

The old lady pointed at the bag of coins and were suspicious of the amount she was given

"You can look in it for yourself"

Josefina pointed at the bags she has given the old lady

The old lady then took a peek inside of the bag

And her eyes widened as her jaw dropped instantly

"Oh.... you're not normal kids i see"

*Chuckle*

Grandma then smiled and hid the bag of coins somewhere it can't be seen

"Shall we start?"

The old lady pointed at the chairs that was magically there

All of us then sat down quietly

"Tell us the future you see grandma"

I asked her

I sat down and rest my hands on my lap

And having the face of curiosity and fear

"I shall"

The old lady said as she does things with her hands

"If the future is the one you seek, may I hold the hand of the one who wished?"

The old lady asked

As all of them turned their heads to me

I was nervous so I gulped down my saliva then handed her my hand and placed it on top of her hand

As I place my hand she then puts her hand on top of mine

And quietly looks at it and mumbles

*mumble mumble*

"....."

There was a long silence when she suddenly said

"I see good things will come your way"

Really?

That's great!

I thought happily

"But don't be too happy just yet young miss for there is still trouble coming your way"

She said with a serious face

Trouble?

"What kind of trouble is it?"

Claude asked

"I can't say for certain but the only thing I could say is beware of the Red eyed Seductress"

The old lady said

Red eyed Seductress?

"Who is the Red eyed Seductress?"

I asked Clenching my hand that was on my lap

My heart kept on pounding and pounding

It's as if i've heard of this name before

The Red eyed Seductress seems so familiar

As I clenched the hand on my lap even harder as I was scared of what i will hear

But then a warm hand touched mine...

I assumed it was Claude's as he was holding my hand more often these days

So I hold it back and even tighter because of the fear that I felt

"As I said young lady, I can only see the future but I don't know who or when it would happen"

The old Lady answered

*sighhhhh*

I sighed deeply but I was still nervous

She then kept on rubbing my hands on her gently and mumbles again

"And there is even more danger approaching"

There's more danger coming?!

*pound pound pound*

My heart then starts to beat even more faster as she tries to say more

"And this time young miss beware of fire"

Fire?!

My whole body then starts to shake and I remembered the grass lady once said

"Something Hot will be approaching"

Hot.....Fire

Is it really?

My whole body went blank and my face went pale

I don't know how or when this misfortune will happen makes me even more bothered and afraid

Hearing both of those words made me have a bad feeling

Grass Lady said something similar is it really that?

Is what grass lady the same as what the old lady meant?

I bit my lip as hard as I can that I didn't even notice it was bleeding

"Athy"

Someone whispered next to me

"Your lip is bleeding stop biting it"

They wiped the blood off my lip

As I turned to look who was wiping the blood off

It was Cythe he took out a clean white cloth to wipe my blood

"Oh Sorry! let me wipe it myself"

I tried pulling the cloth to let me wipe my own blood but his grip tightened

"Cythe?"

I asked him confused

"...."

He was silent for a second then finally let go

"Here"

Cythe handed me the cloth

"Thank you"

I thank him as I wiped off the blood

"Do you wish to know more young lady?"

The old lady asked me

Since we're still here

I want to know all of the things that will happen in the future

What will happen to me and what I can do to prevent it

I looked at the old lady straight in the eyes and replied

"Please tell me more of the future"

I said serious
