I reincarnated as an OP Class, so what?

Hey, hey, are we live already? We are? Good hello there, reader. This is Akira, AKA your best host and protagonist. This story follows Yui, the less critical protagonist. As per the primary goal, it depends on who you ask. Some seek pleasure on this land, and others seek glory. However, some want a quiet life as an ordinary individual, and while I respect that, I don't get it. As per me? Well, what I want is to find my old master and friend that left me behind. I want to see them again, and I will do everything to find them. This story is somewhat based on real-life events but is not historical fiction, so don't worry. Written by: Misami_ne Artwork by: MistyTheWolf Note to reader: You might have noticed a drop in chapter updates. I ask for your forgiveness. This drawback is temporary. Recently, I have been working 80+ hours without much time to work on my novel. I still try to keep up with updates, but as more and more expenses keep pouring into me, I have been struggling to keep up. I’m sorry you have to wait so long for chapter updates, and I will try to perform better. Please have patience with me. With love and care Misami_ne

New goal

My head hurt as my body was still on the ground. I opened my eyes to look around me, but all I saw were dead bodies. How had this happened? Was the first thing that I began to wonder. Then I heard another explosion noise not too far from me. What the? I wanted to scream as I saw a vast fireball at the library's top. It immediately went boom with enough power to knock me back down. The worst thoughts began to flood my mind. "Magnus!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I ran toward the recent explosion site. If I hadn't forgotten, he was in the library, so did that mean he was? No, he couldn't be dead. He surely wouldn't succumb so quickly, right? He had plot armor. After all, this was a fantasy novel, right?

When I finally reached the library, I saw what I did not want to see. It was the worst of the outcomes. Magnus was dead. He had been blown to pieces with his head split open, still spilling fresh blood. I instinctively wanted to pick his head up to try and restore it, but when I tried to do this, I saw my own hand completely destroyed and blown up as well. The realization made me fall to the ground like I had run out of energy. A man's claps awakened me as it began to scream. "Look who we have here, Miss Goddess of Magic. Don't you look a little beat up for a Goddess?"

Who was he? What did he want from me? I didn't even have time to ask questions as the man picked me up with a piercing attack. While screaming in pain, the man seemed to be enjoying himself. He let go of his spear grip so the tip would dig into me more profoundly. Making me scream in an immeasurable amount of pain. "So what? You don't talk? I suppose that's fine. Very well then, I will finish you off now. Mr Boss man ordered me to murder you; however, I want you to know one thing before you die. I will defile your dead corpse now. Die fast, please!" With that, the man pierced my heart with his sword. He must have cut through one of my lungs, too. I quickly began to cough out blood. Thus, my consciousness faded away fast.

A darkness then followed. I was alone in this void. It happened again, just like a dream with that Oni. An overload of dead, unknown people began to flood my mind again. Until I eventually screamed awake, this time in the real world. I looked around, and Magnus was alive and well, sleeping like a rock. This dream was a premonition, and I felt terrible about it. Out of curiosity, I checked my status. Everything looked normal except for my list of skills. The divine voice then confirmed my suspicions. "Age has reached the required level. Acquired unique skill {Student List}." Student list? I had never heard of such a skill before.

Wasting zero time, I activated the skill. A screen then popped off into my field of view. It had a list of names but not any random ones. I had almost forgotten about them, but some of the names refreshed my memories so much that I realized what this was. It was a list of all the students reincarnated into this world after me. This list terrified me because it had many names greyed out. That couldn't be good, so I appraised the list to tell me how it worked. The appraisal then confirmed my suspicion: the grey-out names were the names of already dead students after being reincarnated here. There were so many of them. Out of twenty-eight names, twenty-five were grey already.

Only one question came to mind: Why? Why did I gain this skill just now? If this was a sick joke from that administrator, it was disgusting. I then closed the skill, went to the restroom, and cried for hours. Knowing most were dead broke my soul, even if I wasn't responsible for their deaths here. After thinking about it until dawn, I came to a conclusion. I would do everything in my power to stop the last three from dying, that was for sure. For my plan to work, however, I would have to tell the truth to Magnus. I had no other choice, though.

I would make up an elaborate story about being a female chick in my past life to not throw him off confessing I was a male before. I know he liked me, but I was still determining if he would continue to do so if he knew I was previously a nerd male teacher with mild overweight problems. I prepared the most compelling story of all time, and when he finally woke up, I cowered. Magnus just saw a sweaty, agitated Yui with half her body uncovered. He immediately looked away as I scrambled for a bra and a blouse. I had to remove my top because I felt my chest was too compressed while crying. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to put it back on. Sorry, my bad, Magnus!

"Woah! What an exquisite view I had this morning. But isn't it a bit soon, Yui? We aren't married yet." This embarrassment changed my mood to a lighter one. I was glad this happened. At the same time, did he say "Exquisite?" Hey, you perv, just how long did you analyze my breasts for? I thought it was only a second or two of direct staring. "Well, you see, Yui, your breasts are plump and not sagged yet, so if you want to blame anyone for staring. Blame yourself. You're getting naked before a horny man." ahhhg! That was a low blow. Referee, please send me a review. He just violated me.

In old fashion, I slapped him on the face. He smirked at my action, though. Suddenly, he grabbed me from my abdomen and picked me up high. "Hey! Let me down!" His smirk grew even more prominent as he began to walk toward the window. Wait, was he going to throw me out the window? Please wait, Magnus; let's talk about it! AHHHHHH! He threw me out! Magnus really threw me out the window with only my pajamas on. It was childish stuff like this that put me off him badly. He might look like an adult now, but he acted like a child much more. Clearly angry, I then went up the stairs back to my unit.

"You throw me out that window again, and you will find-" He didn't even let me finish my sentence when he said. "Find out what you're capable of? Oh, please, baby. You're constantly slapping me out of nowhere, even for simply presenting you to my newest girlfriends." He had a point, but I could not admit it. "That's because you're always looking at their butts!" Wait, no, I gave him munition. What am I doing? "So, you're jealous? I thought you wanted nothing long-term with me. Why are you all red all of a sudden? Did I strike a nerve?" I avoided his glaring eyes and went straight for my purse and keys. "I enjoy it whenever you act like this. Makes you look so cute." Shut up already.
