I reincarnated as an OP Class, so what?

Hey, hey, are we live already? We are? Good hello there, reader. This is Akira, AKA your best host and protagonist. This story follows Yui, the less critical protagonist. As per the primary goal, it depends on who you ask. Some seek pleasure on this land, and others seek glory. However, some want a quiet life as an ordinary individual, and while I respect that, I don't get it. As per me? Well, what I want is to find my old master and friend that left me behind. I want to see them again, and I will do everything to find them. This story is somewhat based on real-life events but is not historical fiction, so don't worry. Written by: Misami_ne Artwork by: MistyTheWolf Note to reader: You might have noticed a drop in chapter updates. I ask for your forgiveness. This drawback is temporary. Recently, I have been working 80+ hours without much time to work on my novel. I still try to keep up with updates, but as more and more expenses keep pouring into me, I have been struggling to keep up. I’m sorry you have to wait so long for chapter updates, and I will try to perform better. Please have patience with me. With love and care Misami_ne

Illuminare

"I hate these new gods that call themselves administrators." That was Cronos speaking. He did have a point. These foreign deities that have moved into this world's roles needed to be more in touch with everyone. I didn't pay much attention to them since their powers were on a whole new level, so fighting one of them would be suicide for sure. Still, I had to let Cronos know that our feelings were mutual. "I'm not fond of them either, but what can we do? They even defeated Lady Maxie." Cronos looked at me and then replied. "That's why I haven't tried anything. If they had the power to humiliate Lady Maxie like that, they could absolutely kick this old man's butt."

Cronos wasn't wrong about that, but did he have to bring up Maxie's humiliation? How dare they turn her into a video game-like voice UI. I know she pleaded with me to not cause chaos and to not try anything, but seeing her decay daily in that awful room sickens me to this day. Then Cronos placed his hand on my shoulder, saying. "You think that he has any chance?" was he talking about that well-suited man who looked psychotic all the time? "I don't know, maybe he does; reincarnations get a huge starting bonus and other special skills. However, knowing the admins, do you think those would be enough?" Cronos sighed, then answered with a grin on his face. "Yeah, he probably won't succeed at it. Still, he is a wild card and seems to not have any other drive except doing whatever makes him happy."

"Have you talked with Seth lately, Crono?" His grin vanished immediately. "You know she hates me now, Illumina." I knew that, yet I always enjoyed reminding him of his mistakes. For now, the old man stood up and left me. He said he had errands to run on the chamber of time, so I let him go with ease.

What he always expressed about the new gods that imposed themselves on our world wasn't wrong, but even our god of time wouldn't even scratch them, so for now, we pretend like we like them and work well. In reality, I hate them all. Knowing that reincarnations are now a thing in my world also disgusts me. All of those carefree reincarnations are a problem. They threaten the delicate balance of this world, but since killing them would put me against the administrators, I have to find another way to get rid of them. I would solve this crisis by making them all take each other out.

Looking at them on the stat screen also disgusts me. Look at it. They all have OP abilities or powers. I already killed more than twenty of them by making them fight one another, but it seems like another reincarnation, Yui, is on her way to try and stop me, dam it! Yui is the biggest offender as a reincarnation, while others received high healing or outright super intelligence. She was blessed with MP, intelligence, and a good family. She was born with it all. That's unfair even for the other reincarnations, so as far I'm concerned, I must take her out next. How would I do that, though? Her MP is nothing to scuff at, but I could surely beat her, although doing that would get me erased, so that's ruled out.

I could always keep watching; as far as I have seen, she seems to be struggling with something internally. Should I spy deeper and abuse that fear or anxiety to push her to commit suicide? Maybe. Making her feel like erasing herself is the solution would be the best. One thing is for sure: I must get rid of all reincarnations and somehow find a way to get rid of those administrators, too. If my plans fail, I will be erased, and nobody will try to impart justice, so I must not.
