BoP: Battle of Puppeteers (1)
During the two days, Seth would experience hell in every morning. He wanted to kill the fatty so much his body would twitch now and then.
Fortunately, the fatty wouldn't be coming anymore. Which relieved his anger.
After a world spinning bath, he was brought out by Tina and saw a huge crowd in the pub. On the left side of the wall was a huge projector screen.
The Battle of Puppeteers would commence today!
Seth was slightly disappointed if, by chance, he wanted to see a Goliath Puppet in action personally. But it couldn't be helped. Goliath Puppets, just like their name, are all giants, there wouldn't be space left to watch!
Not long later, a projector before the projector screen activated. It was a little advance than the projectors in his previous life. Despite being projected, its imaging is exceptionally clear.

A small different screening appeared in the bottom right corner. Seth could see two people in the small screening, one male and one female.
"Good day everyone, we are your Hosts for this year's event, I'm Mike Wood and she is Andrea Heart. Today would be the start of the 25th Battle of Puppeteers!"
"Am I the only one excited about this event? Cause I'm literally trembling from excitement right at this moment." The Male Host said with anticipation.
"Guess what Mike, the competition would be held at the Green Forest!" The female host said.
"What? Really?! But that place has a ton of Gigantic Beasts!"
"A month ago, the puppeteers association made a clean-up in the forest. Just for this competition!"
Seth heard them talked and was also surprised. 'The Stone City made an effort in this tournament.'
The Green Forest is a large tropical forest that occupies Giant Trees standing more than 100 meters. The forest was located 1,400 kilometers from Stone City and covering an area of 6,000,000 square kilometers. Comparable to the size of Amazon!
To clean that place from Gigantic Beast would be tedious!
Thereafter, the puppeteers went to the platform.
It was big enough to accommodate 500 people without them squeezing into each other.
The broadcast focused on a man with a Muller haircut.
He was wearing a golden earring in his left ear, a piercing in his lips, and a sharp face that complemented his style. All in all, he looked like a playboy.
Mike looked at the man weirdly, "Is that the recently famous prodigy—James Smith?"
"Yeah. Rumors said he only joined because he wanted to showcase his 'style'. As for which one, nobody knows." Andrea also had a weird face.
"Pfft," Mike held his laughter, it wouldn't be good to offend a genius. "Is Smith the only genius participating?"
"Yeah, the other 4 geniuses of Stone City are currently occupied by their mission."
"The Abyss-" Andrea glared at Mike who then shut up and showed an apologetic smile.
Everyone raised an eyebrow. It was obvious, the male host had accidentally revealed a classified mission.
Then, the unique patterns glowed, illuminating the whole platform with a pillar of light.
"Just like every year, Puppeteers would be equipped with a vital wristwatch that would continuously track the user's vital sign data. This is to ensure the Puppeteer's safety during the event," Mike said seriously.
"This time, however, the wristwatch could also transmit audio wirelessly. This is also the reason why the association didn't explain the rules and prize in the square. They would only do so as the puppeteers spread out in the forest." Andrea clarified.

"To commemorate their unwavering services, we, as the people of stone city shall witness and support the 25th Battle of Puppeteers!" The middle-aged man said righteously.
The people were shivering as they listened to the man's word. They remembered the battle 15 years ago, where every puppeteer sacrificed their life to hold the final line of the city. They never wavered under the vast horde of Gigantic Beasts, they fought fearlessly as their limbs break and their eyes bled.
"The first part of the tournament will be a battle royale. The goal of the game is to obtain the metal tag of each participant. The participant with the highest score wins..."
Seth listened to the middle-aged man for half an hour.
The rules were simple. The first stage of BoP is a battle royale in the Green Forest, that would last for 3 hours.
The participants who have been rob of their given tag would be automatically eliminated.
Once half of the participants are eliminated, the first stage of BoP will end. Murder and disabling shall not be tolerated, including the destruction of Goliath Puppets.
If the Goliath Puppet were destroyed, Puppeteers would need to cultivate all over again.
As for the rewards for the tournament, it wasn't declared yet. It will be declared once the last stage starts.
Seth who was immersed in his thoughts was intruded by the cheers of the audience in the Inn.
"The first stage of Battle of Puppeteers will start in 3..."

On the screen, Seth saw bright fireworks from the center of the forest, signifying the start of the tournament.

[ Drone Hummingbird ]
Origin: A mutation of Bee Hummingbird, which was the smallest bird before the sudden evolution.
Appearance: Has a wingspan of half a football field. Long delicate black beak. Bluish-green feathers from the head to the back and soft white feathers in the chest and abdomen.
Advantages: They are versatile, fast, and could fly without a break, and has sharp eyesight.
