Path of Truth: A Goddess's Wrath

"Boss. Word on the street there is a member of the Church of Weshina who has the power to use her heartbeat to fight. We still need to find the Sagittarius Goddess. She wasn't at the temple based on what the goons said." Lionel said and looked at me.

"Her heartbeat..?" I asked. "How would that even work?"

"I don't know...but I think her heartbeats causes powerful repulsive forces to occur and she uses that to fight. It is said those forces can kill people." Lionel said.

"That doesn't sound normal.." Grace said.

"It's the work of the Unknown Order. Some of them were sent back here to help the Church." A woman said and walked in the base.

We looked back and saw a want with black hair, a red jacket and black pants. I stood up and walked towards her quickly.

"Emilia! You've finally arrived!" I said and held her hands.

"Yeah, it wasn't easy. The Church has gained many allies. Last time I was around these realms, there wasn't anything like this." Emilia smiled and looked at me. "How are you doing?"

"I've seen better days. Right now we are setting out to find the Sagittarius Goddess." I said.

"Well if you're looking for her...you already found her." Emilia looked a bit sad.

Lionel looked at Saeris and gave a look of disgust. He gripped her head and looked at Emilia.

"Ow! Ow! What did I do?!" Saeris whined.

"You're telling me this lite brat is the Goddess?! She's a Dark Zodiac!" Lionel said.

"That is true...but she's also the Goddess who ruled the Temple. The Goddess before her had died years ago. Saeris is the Sagittarius Goddess." Emilia said.

"Mhm! Mhm!" Saeris looked at Lionel. "I can't give Yufumi my blessings because of the fact that I am also a Dark Zodiac, but I am a skilled fighter!"

"Unbelievable. Well we have all the Zodiacs inhabiting the Spirit Realm. What's next?" Lionel asked.

"The Sacred Realm." I said. "We have six Zodiac right now. Aquarius, Leo, Libra, Ophiuchus, Aries, and Sagittarius. We are missing Six and I feel like there may be a Zodiac or two in the Sacred Realm."

"There are. Taurus and Virgo. The New Underworld aka The Abyss has Pisces and Cancer. The Human Realm has Scorpio, Capricorn, and Gemini." Emilia said.

"Damn so we gotta go back to the Human Realm for the last three." I sighed. "Meaning we will have to fight Mildred.."

"Mildred.." Emilia looked at the roof and let go of my hands. "Someone as powerful as him is nearly unstoppable...especially if he has people who can just use their heartbeat to fight."

"What strategy to you suggest?" I asked.

"Well the way I see it, only people who can control Space, Time, or Chaos can fight against her. Everyone else should head on to the Sacred Realm." Emilia said.

I looked back at Lionel, Grace, and Saeris. They looked at me. Lionel rubbed the back of his head and sighed a bit.

"I'll make sure the team gets there safely." Lionel said. "Just come back to us alive. I don't think I can take on the responsibility of fighting Nymphira."

"Okay." I smiled and nodded. "There's a ship I came here on, it's at the gates of the Spirit Realm."

"Understood. Alright squirt and other squirt, let's go." Lionel walked off.

"I'm not a squirt!" Saeris puffed her cheeks then followed Lionel.

Grace giggled and followed behind. As my team set off to the ship and prepared to head off to the Sacred Realm, Sephora's team had the same idea. Emilia and I left the base to pursue the Church of Weshina in Astroville. As we arrived I saw Sephora and Yui standing near a building.

"Yui!" I ran towards her.

"Yu-chan!" Yui looked at me happily and ran towards me and tackled me into a hug. She laughed and I held her close.

"Strong bond they share huh." Emilia smiled.

"Emilia?" Sephora looked at her.

"Hey Mom." Emilia smiled and waved. "It's been a while...a few decades...maybe a century."

"You haven't aged a bit.." Sephora said in shock.

"Personal Time. I can slow down my aging process." Emilia said.

Kyria walked up with her partner and smirked at me. I sensed her aura and looked at her.

"There you are...Leo." Kyria laughed.

"If it isn't the white haired bastard." I said and Yui let go of me. "Back for another beating so soon..."

"The first two times were flukes...now I have come back more powerful!" Kyria laughed and summoned her lance. "Number 7: Amatae Ioda, Yufumi is my target! Stay out of my way!"

"Understood." Amatae said and the orb on her chest glowed.

"An Android..?" I asked.

"Don't worry, we will handle Amatae. You deal with Kyria!" Emilia said and her green eye glowed.

Kyria laughed and her dark aura surged wildly. I transformed into my Zodiac Form and my turned into flames. Yui transformed into her Zodiac Form and summoned her cane.

"I've reached a higher level with Cosima over the past week and my power with the wind has gotten better. I've achieved some better understanding of Elemental Fusion to make powerful Elemental Surges." Yui said.

"Then show me in this battle." I said and summoned my sword.

Kyria dashed towards us and I ran to her and we clashed. She laughed and broke the clashed and began rushing me with attacks. Yui dashed and used the wind to boost her speed then appeared behind Kyria and jumped then yelled. She kicked downward, but was blocked by a dark shield. She kicked off the shield and landed on the ground. I dodged her last attack and shoulder bumped her and she lost her balance then I punched her face and bellowed. Kyria rolled backwards and grunted.

"Yui!" I looked at her.

"Right!" Yui nodded and bellowed. "Wind Arts: Demon Tornado Wave!"

She bellowed and spun in a circle and swung her cane then a tornado rushed towards Kyria. Kyria stood up and saw the tornado. She smirked widely and her Yaoke shined then the tornado vanished. We were surprised and looked at Kyria.

"What the..." I said in shock.

"What now?! Your attacks mean no- NNGH!!" Kyria groaned and her eyes started hurting as it began to bleed.

"I almost forgot about the side effects of the Yaoke. Limit uses of the Yaoke each day. That means you've been using your Yaoke before you got here! What did you do?!" I looked at Kyria.

"Oh I'll tell you what I did..." Kyria chuckled. "I killed Duedi, Nisshoku, and Yukimari!"

My eyes widened and my heart thumped. Yui was also shocked to hear this news. The Aquarius Symbol on my hand shined brightly and Kyria laughed like a maniac. The Aquarius Symbol began emitting dark aura and my hair covered my eyes.

"How dare you..? How dare you kill them..?" I said coldly.

"Yu-chan..?" Yui looked at me.

"Yes..YES! HATE ME! FEED ME YOUR DARK ENERGY! MAKE YOURSELF MORE POWERFUL!" Kyria laughed. "The more powerful you are...the more power you'll give to my Goddess!"

Memories that weren't mine filled my head as static. These memories were Annette's memories, Steven's memories of them. Cursed markings slowly circled from my legs to my arms. Kyria looked at me with glee. Yui was a bit afraid. Amatae turned towards me, feeling insane amounts of darkness. The Aquarius Symbol emitted more powerful dark aura. I could feel Annette's rage. I grunted and fell to my knees and panted as smoke came from my mouth. Annette's rage was powerful and over took my body.

"You're doing great!! MORE POWER!" Kyria laughed.

"You...you wanna see more power huh..?" I chuckled darkly. "Be careful...for what you wish for.."

"Huh..?" Kyria looked at me.

I vanished and the ground broke. Kyria was shocked and I appeared in front of her and my Yaoke shined brightly. Dark aura emitted from my eyes. I punched Kyria in the air and bellowed then summoned dark spikes and shot them all at Kyria. Kyria groaned in pain loudly as they hit her one by one.

"Stop...you...idiot...! I'm gonna die if you don't stop!!" Kyria groaned loudly.

"Such power does not compute within my database, Yufumi Zoko...S-Rank Danger. Must eliminate." Amatae said.

"What the hell is this..?" Sephora asked. "Such power...this isn't like anything I've seen before.."

"The Wrath of a Goddess.." Emilia said.

"I will not forgive you!" I bellowed and my aura wrapped around Kyria and slammed her to the ground. I summoned more dark spikes above Kyria and my aura held her down. The dark spikes began shooting through her more. She groaned louder in pain.

Yui shook a bit and Amatae couldn't even move. She even expressed some form of fear. Kyria groaned loudly in pain.

"Die..! Die! Die! Die! Die! JUST DIE!" I yelled and before sending the last spike through her body Yui hugged me from behind.

"Stop it Yu-chan!" Yui cried out. "I don't like it when you're like this. I don't like your demon at all! It's full of pain and rage...please stop it.."

Kyria coughed a lot of blood and my eyes turned normal then the Aquarius Symbol stopped glowing. I looked at Kyria and the dark spike disappeared. The blood on the ground...on my face...that was all my doing. Yui sniffled and cried a bit as she was terrified. I slowly turned normal and my aura vanished slowly. My cursed marks slowly vanished as well. Amatae looked at me and Kyria laughed softly.

"You're gonna...let a weak Demon like Yui...stop you from finishing me off..?" Kyria said.

"Tch...I'm not gonna kill you. If you want to die, do it yourself." I closed my eyes and walked off and Yui followed.

Sephora and Emilia followed. Amatae looked at Kyria and Kyria looked at her.

"Come here and help me.." Kyria said.

"Command can not be followed. I can not support weaklings as you programmed me to do. Yufumi is stronger than you therefore I must follow her." Amatae followed me quickly.

"No- You useless...piece of shit..!" Kyria coughed and looked at the sky. "Yufumi...I will kill you...I must come back stronger than ever...stronger...I must be the strongest of all tim..."

Her Yaoke shined and she smirked and laughed softly then laughed like a maniac again.
