Chp 2 : What Awaits After Death (Part 2)

Siun opened the cash register, then all of the sudden…

*BANG*

The robber and the customer stood in shock, Siun has shot himself right in between his eyes.

Siun has died…

Siun slowly woke up, he had a splitting headache and was feeling overwhelmingly dizzy. He looked around and he was in a black void, it seemed as if nothing existed in this weird room, yet he was somehow able to stand and walk around freely.

"Where am I…am I in a womb?"

"Almost, it seems like the host this time has some actual intelligence…"

"WHAT WAS THAT? WHO ARE YOU?" Siun frantically asked whilst waving his hands around trying to defend himself.

*Sigh…*

"It seems I was mistaken about you being intelligent, if this is your defense mechanism then I don't know how you have survived that long on earth"

A small black cat suddenly appeared in front of Siun out of nowhere, it was incredibly hard to differentiate where the cat ended and where the void started because of how black the cat was. The only thing you could clearly see was the striking emerald green eyes that never blink on the cat's round face.

"Who are you… are you my twin sibling? and how are you a cat? Are we in a world where humans have evolved to have kids with cats? If so is this an omegaverse wor-"

"SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH INSOLENT HUMAN! YOU, A DEFENSELESS MIDGET DARE CALL THEMSELVES MY TWIN?!"

The black cat was enraged, it's tail transformed into a black fist and punched Siun right in the head.

"OW OW OW!"

"That ought to teach you a lesson, puny human!"

"I can't believe we are twins in a womb-"

The black cat readied it's black fists in anger.

"I- I meant, where is this place…uhm…sir?" Siun was embarrassed of himself, never had he thought he would bow down to a chubby cat, but he didn't care about his dignity anymore or how his ancestors would be shaming him for being scared of a little cat, dying was enough, he had no more energy to get physically abused by a cat.

"What a smart human, you are more obedient than the others, usually humans would get offended and try to kill me. It seems like I won't have to send you to soul jail anymore"

[Siun : WHAT THE FUCK…what does this shitty cat mean? Others?! Am I not the only one? Soul jail??? It seems like this isn't a womb of a rich lady after all…goodbye…golden spoon…]

As Siun was busy mourning the loss of his imaginary golden spoon, the cat got impatient and violently flicked Siun's forehead.

"OW"

"It seems like you haven't learned your lesson yet, listen to me when I'm talking to you! … and also, if you want to diss me, at least be brave enough to say it to my face!"

Siun was speechless this cat can read his mind?!, also who would be brave enough to insult this monster in disguise out loud?! At least he was being polite by only thinking it in his head!

"Alright, enough with this nonsense and let us introduce ourselves to one another... This mighty one's name is Tex, Pleasure to meet you"

[Siun : What is wrong with this little monster? is it bipolar? a second ago it was acting like a bitchy tyrant and now it is acting like a well behaved employee... albeit with a little sass ]

"Nice to meet you... uhm... sir..."

After Siun said that the cat slightly tilted its head down and sighed with a frown.

*sigh* "What's wrong with you humans, they always address me as sir or boss... even when I tell them my name, do they not like me?"

Siun felt pity for this cat, even though it was the most unreasonable little shit ever, Siun believed that it meant well but has always been misunderstood.

At that moment Siun swore to himself that he will be this cat's friend and try to understand the little monster in disguise.

"So... Tex... Where am I? I suppose I'm not in a rich lady's womb..."

[Siun : *sigh* I'll miss you golden spoon... that sweet sweet life filled with luxury... ]

The little cats face lit up for a second as he hear Siun call it by it's name, then the cat's face returned back to its usual facial expression, a round face plastered with a narcissistic smug.

As Siun was busy mourning the loss of his golden spoon yet again, the cat interrupted him.

"Actually you are right... we are in a womb!"

Siun's face lit up with a smile.

[Siun : Is this really happening to me?! Wait for me rich family! young master Siun is coming for youuu!!! ]

"BUT... there's a CATCH!"

Siun's face froze

"You are going to be born/transmigrated into the fantasy novel called " Killing The Demon Lord " Where you will be tasked with assisting the Hero on his journey to slay the demon lord!"

Siun silently cried.
