Chp 19 : Seeds

The only choice Elena had now was to attack from her tree. Because she had sustained a lot of damage already, anymore would probably kill her. So her last choice was to use the remaining energy she had left to try to sculpt a small arrow

"Damn this is hard! Why is it so small??? Do I really only have this much energy left?... This really is my last chance..."

After a few minutes Elena looked at her finished products, which were lumps of her wind magic sculpted into the form of "small arrows"

To be honest they looked a lot like modern bullets used in guns rather than arrows.

"...Not bad for my first try! although these are a lot shorter than I imagined, and they dont look like arrows too... But if I made an exact copy of an arrow I would only have enough to make 1! I would rather have 7 than 1!"

...

...

...

Elena crouched down on a branch to better balance herself.

"Phew...I can do this, this can't fail! I have 7 arrow- uhm can I even call these arrows? I don't think these even have a name... Lets call them uhm... seeds! yeah seeds! Hahaha that's such a cool name, they look so much like them!"

It was one of Elena's habit to side track herself from her main objective by talking to herself

"Okay, no more time for this! I need to focus!"

As Elena said that one of the tree demons walked into her view.

Her heart starting pounding and she started sweating.

[Elena : Ok, I can do this! Siun is waiting for me!]

She lifted her left arm and pointed her fingers towards her target, doing this made it easier for her to aim than just her launching the bullets with her magic.

...

She waited for her arm to stop shaking...

...

*BAM*

...

There was silence for a phew seconds, and then...

"OH MY GOD! YEAAAAAH! I DID IT! I DID IT!"

Elena celebrated and accidently yelled out loud which in return alerted of the other tree demon of her position.

The demon ran towards her tree an then...

*BAM*

...

*BAM*

...

...

...

"Phew! That was a close one..."

Elena climbed back down the tree slowly and looked at what she had accomplished. There were two tree demon corpses with bullets through their body. And next to them was a massive oak tree that crushed the tallest tree demon. She ran her bloodied fingers on the oak tree.

"Wow... This amazing..."

she stood in silence as she reflected on herself and her new found power, until suddenly. A warm ray of sunlight bathed her injured body...

...

"AH! I FORGOT ABOUT SIUN!"

...

Elena ran as fast as she could with her broken ankle and her maimed body.

She sprinted for the door handle and what she saw inside shocked her, Siun's seemingly lifeless body was sprawled on the floor of there house, and next to him was a cup of water and candle that was snapped in half.

"SIUN!"

Elena shrieked as she quickly hobbled over to him, her energy was now truly exhausted with nothing left within her.

"Siun! Are you okay?!"

She said as she lightly shook his body.

...

Still no response

...

"Siun wake up! Please! I'm here now you can wake up! It's sunrise, the demons have all gone!"

this time she shook his shoulders aggressively trying to wake him up, but still no response. So Elena quickly tilted Siun's head backwards to keep Siun's airway open. It was the only thing Elena could've done, just look at the state she is in.

...

She was a cripple

...

She waited a few more seconds to see if Siun woke up, but nothing happened. Elena started sobbing as if she has given up.

"No this can't be!"

Elena exclaimed as she tried to carry Siun in her arm. She was planning to walk to Xinthri's main town where the church is located, it was her last resort.

She carried Siun on her back and quickly tried to walk to the door. But her body gave up, her body just couldn't take it anymore. Elena fell down on the floor, and Siun's body plopped onto the ground once again.

"No... I'll save you..."

As she looked at Siun's head blood started dripping, his head wound seemed to have reopened.

Seeing this Elena just couldn't take it anymore and started crying out loud, tears started soaking the floor as she scrunched up her mouth to try to stop herself from crying... it didn't work.

...

"M-mother?... Are you okay?"
