Chp 18 : Tiny Arrows
The two tree demons stood in shock, Elena cut off her right arm!
...
"ARGHHHH"
Elena screamed out as her limp body fell onto the floor.
*huff* *huff* She was trying to calm herself down, the shock of what she just did was setting in as she looked towards where her right arm should've been.
[Elena : Ahhhh! That was close! I can't believe I even let the thought of killing myself enter my mind! I have a husband and son to take care of!]
She thought as she tried to stand back up, it was hard since she only has her left arm now.
The two tree demons recovered from their shock and both charge at her at the same time
"Bring it on!"
Elena simultaneously yelled as she ran as fast as she could towards the two demons.
The two demons both aimed for her ankles. Thanks to Elena's speed she narrowly avoided loosing another limb. She then again tried to charge at the demons, but that only ended in her receiving a scratch on her chest.
"Fuck!"

All she could do now was retreat and climb up a tree to rest, which was an impressive feat considering she only had her left arm.

...
"Phew! That was close!"
But Elena's voice was too loud and alerted the 2 tree demons, they were now searching for Elena in near by areas.
"Oops... haaaaa- What should I do? Should I just wait for morning so the demons can retreat?... No, I dont have enough time, I have to go back to Siun to make sure he's okay!"

*Back at the house*

[Tex : Good job Siun! You did great!]
...
[Tex : Siun are you alright?]
Tex started to get worried as Siun just crouched down inside the pitch black house.
[Siun : ...*huff*... M-my chest, it's burning!]
Siun quickly got up and ran around the dark hut looking for some water, but he couldn't see anything at all. He reached out for the candle to light it up...
[Tex : STOP! DONT TOUCH THAT CANDLE!]
[Siun : What wrong with you?! I need to see so i can quickly get water! Arghh! It hurts so much!]
[Tex : Remember what Elena said?! Don't turn on any sort of light or else the demons will know you're here!]
[Siun : What am I supposed to do then?! Fucking die?! Because it feels like im going to die right now if I dont get any fucking water!]
Siun aggressively grabbed the candle then lighted it with a match. The flame seemed to have shone as bright as the sun since Siun has seen nothing but darkness for the past few hours.
[Tex : You idiot!]
[Siun : Shut up!]
Siun said as he quickly ran to get some water.

[Siun : Haaaaa!... that was refreshi-]
It was at that moment Siun felt the worst headaches he had ever experienced in this world, The pain was so unbearable he dropped the candle starting a fire. But luckily enough, he also dropped the gup of water onto the fire, so everything was ok.
[Siun : AHHHH! IT HURTS IT HURTS!]
Siun said as he lopped down onto the cold hard floor

Elena sat still on the tree branch trying to think of a plan to kill the 2 tree demons. Prior to this, Elena had no fighting experience. This was the first time she ever used her abilities in battle. She never knew she could conjure wind blades and all the fancy stuff.
"Ahh what should I do... I heard that Xinthris are the most fierce when using a bow, and I dont have any energy left to do a long ranged wind blade attack! I dont think I even have enough to do a close ranged wind blade!"
The only choice Elena had now was to attack from her tree. Because she had sustained a lot of damage already, she had a twisted ankle, lost her dominant arm and a massive slash on her chest, anymore would probably kill her. So her last choice was to use the remaining energy she had left to try to sculpt a small arrow
"Damn this is hard to do with my left hand! Why is it so small??? Do I really only have this much energy left?... This really is my last chance..."
After a few minutes Elena looked at her finished products, which were lumps of her wind magic sculpted into the form of "small arrows"
To be honest they looked a lot like modern bullets used in guns rather than arrows.
"...Not bad for my first try! although these are a lot shorter than I imagined, and they dont look like arrows too... But if I made an exact copy of an arrow I would only have enough to make 1! I would rather have 7 than 1!"
