Chp 10 : Chosen By The Gods
"My name is Siun, what's your name little cucumber?"
As soon as Siun said that the white void started deconstructing and the "walls" started falling down, one of them almost fell on top of Siun.
"Ahhhh! It seems like my owner is about to wake up! We better leave before we are trapped! Siun, go jump into that pond then you'll wake up!"
Without wasting a second, Siun quickly ran towards the milky pond, jumping over the piles of debris that slowly stated pilling up higher and higher.
He finally reached the milky pond and swiftly jumped into it.

When he looked up he saw a rotting roof that was barely itself holding up, and he could smell damp plants and dirt in the air. A huge contrast from the white void that smelled of cinnamon.

Siun was now back at his family's house

He slowly opened his eyes dreadfully, ready to experience the most head splitting and painful headache ever. But to Siun's surprise, he actually felt quite refreshed and comfortable. It was one of the best "sleep" he ever had.
[Tex : Are you awake now? Do you need to throw up?]
When Siun heard Tex's voice he felt so much relief, he never wanted to spend another second without Tex after that crazy experience!
[Siun : No... I actually feel very nice!]
[Tex : It seemed you had a good dream as well! you were smiling and kicking around and even mumbling!... were you dreaming of your lover in your past life?]
[Siun : As if! I actually dreamed about a floating cucumber! Wait, I'm not even sure it was a dream! I don't know how to describe the experience I had!]

After that Siun spent a really... and I mean a really long time to explain what situation he was in to Tex, a lot longer than it should've took.
[Tex : Hmmm.... so thats what happened...]
[Siun : Yeah! what he said was really confusing!... do you know what he meant by me being chosen by the gods?]
[Tex : of course I do im a system after all!]
Instead of Siun's usual feeling of disgust and annoyance to Tex's tone of speaking, he was actually quite happy that he could now talk to his only friend.

Such a hypocrite! last chapter he was just making fun of Duke Israel's second son for having his only friend be a cucumber! How was Siun any better?! He was friends with a mind reading cat that no one else could see!

[Tex : The people who are chosen by gods have powers unlike any other. Unlike other people who can use all types of magic, the people who are chosen by gods are given only 1 power. All the chosen ones have different powers from each other, you will never see 2 chosen ones with the exact same power]
[Siun : Wow that's so cool! I wonder what power I have! Hey Tex! Can you tell me what's my power? Your a system after all! you said you know everything!]

[Tex : *coughs* u-uhm...]

[Tex :... Y-you will get to know once you turn 4]

Siun wanted to punch this shitty cat so much.

[Siun : *sigh* Can you atleast tell me what the Hero's name is?? You said my main task was to help him and his party slay the Demon Lord! How am I supposed to do that when you have been delaying telling me his name!]

Tex went silent, he realized what Siun had said was correct. Maybe he was acting a bit too cocky... very cocky... He was so full of himself that he forgot to tell Siun the Hero's name... Tex felt ashamed of himself.
[Tex : *sniff* Sorry host... I need to go and take an emotional break, I'll come back and become a better system!]
*Tex disappears back into the void*

[Siun : YOU BASTARD! I JUST ASKED YOU A SIMPLE QUESTION YOU COULD OBVIOUSLY ANSWER BUT INSTEAD YOU HAVE AN EMOTIONAL BREAK DOWN AND LEAVE ME?]

Siun continued cursing Tex in his mind while Elena and Silas were laughing at this scene.
To outsiders Tex was invisible and they weren't able to hear him talk to Siun in his mind, so all they saw was a cute baby getting angry at no reason and aggressively flailing his nub arms.
"Hehehe, isn't our son the cutest?"
"He has black hair that's even darker than yours dear husband!"
The whole family really adored Siun and his unusually void black hair. The pair of husband and wife couldn't wait to see how Siun would grow up! They were sure that whatever he did he would be amazing at it!
What a cute family, dont you think?
