Chapter 76: Negotiation with USA

3rd Person POV:
Archie woke up early in the morning to prepare himself. Last night the 2nd batch of dungeon opens and release low level monsters. Luckily it is the only one that opened and it doesn't require his attention.
He sleep in his room last night because Mrs. Soreso doesn't want to bother him and she told him that she will be watching David herself.
He was force to agree since Mrs. Soreso doesn't know anything about him and David. But he told her to give him a call immediately if something unexpected happen to David.
Lethargy is seeping in his entire body while he is taking a shower as his day doesn't feel right. It is as if he is not complete today or something is missing.
After talking a shower, he goes downstairs to eat breakfast that her mother prepared. He also told them everything that they need to know before leaving for work today.
After that he teleported to his office and he saw Clark there, looking handsome as always but he is wearing his casuals which compliments his body figure.
"Good morning boss." He greeted him.
"Good Morning, stop addressing me boss, it just doesn't feel right. Just call me of something else if you don't want to call me by my name." Archie take his seat and review some of the documents in his table.
He was currently reading reports of crimes that are attributed to unregistered awakened. There are also reports and list of awakened people that has been captured and detained by the police with the help of awakened police in their department as well. Request for transfers are being piled in his table as well.
"I couldn't think of any aside from Boss. Calling you Sir doesn't suit you and calling you Ma'am doesn't feel right either. I'll just change it later when something came up on my mind."
"Ok, by the way someone will come here to take care of all my works when I am being dispatch. Most of the time, you will probably be working under him. I hope that you will still do your best while working with him."
Clark look at Archie with questions in his eyes.
"I understand. I was actually expecting you to hire someone with experience as your stand-in since majority of your time are spent outside doing your thing. But may I know who that person is and when will he be coming here?"
"I don't know who he is but apparently, the Chairman knows him very well and he guarantee me that he can take care of my job flawlessly. He will probably arrive here any moment. If he came here while I'm not around, please tell him to work with the hiring first. By the way, how's the job that I've given you?"
Clark immediately grab some papers and handed it over to Archie. The paper contains picture of building, size, location, contact information, and even price range.
Archie don't know why there is a price range and not a solid price, is it because properties changes it's value all the time?
"Those are the building on sale that I somehow manage to find. I am currently still looking for many more. I'll send it to you later so you can choose immediately and I can survey and negotiate the place on your behalf."
Clark sounds excited on doing such a thing. Archie didn't expect this guy to actually have a thing for this type of job.
"Ok, I'll bring this with me. It's about time that I meet the delegates of other nations. I'll leave my office in your care."
Clark just nodded at Archie before doing his job again.
Archie pick up his newly issued laptop and walk out of his office.
While he is in his way to the meeting room, he feel the presence of lined up people along with awakened people in their midst in the room next to the meeting room.
The door is closed to their waiting room there is curtains in place as well, so no one can tell that he is passing through the hallway, unless they have awakened with them that is very sensitive to mana.
When Archie arrive to the waiting room, he saw two beautiful ladies wearing uniforms of their owns. They are standing on the left side of the meeting table. They are presentable and beautiful but Archie couldn't appreciate them since he is a real gay.
After seeing Archie, they bowed to him and prepare the seat at the edge of the left side table for him.
It seems like the meeting arrangement has been prepared and the people that wants to meet Archie will be seating right in front of him.
Archie take the seat he look at the two who was standing next to a tray of bottled water and Filipino snacks. He already guess why they are here.
"We are send by the Malacañang Palace to assist you Mr. Archie." One of the female said.
Archie thinks that maybe they are here to really help him but at the same time, they are also send to spy and listen to the meeting.
Archie's face twitch but he suddenly realize that there is a way for him to take advantage of this situation. So he calmed himself out and give them the list of the sequence of the countries that he will be meeting as well as he give the other one his laptop to write off everything that has been talk inside as well as the time and date that he will come to their country.
"Please call the first one on the list and bring them here. After that please go to my office and ask my secretary to photocopy at least 500 pages of teleportation magic circle and ask him to bring it here. Also ask him to hand over the magic circles that I already prepared before hand and bring it here. Please go now." He commanded and the other didn't complain and proceeded to her work.
Seconds later the door in the room opened, revealing 4 americans 2 of which are awakened A rank and the other 2 is a middle age man and a blond female wearing glasses.
Archie stood up in his chair and shake hands with the middle age man who offered his hand at him.
"Are you Archie right? Nice meeting you."
"Nice meeting you as well. I believe that we don't have much time. Please take a seat and let's discuss the matter immediately." Archie said and he nodded before seating. One of the awakened whisper to him and the middle age man just nodded.
The helper that has been seen to him immediately prepared them a bottled water and a snack before returning to her seats and prepare the laptop to write things off.
"I believe that you came here to ask he to restore the cities within you country. Am I right?" Archie immediately ask.
"Right to the point immediately. I like that. Yes, we came here to ask you for that."
"May I know how many cities required my attention? The severity of the damage? As well as, could you tell me there are monster present in the cities that you want me to restore?"
The female wearing glasses handed me a document containing images of damage cities.
"We have 1 totally annihilated city, 5 heavily damage cities, and 15 moderately damage cities. That's just all the cities that we want you to help us. We won't ask for your help in the cities that we considered low damage and we also didn't include the 3 more heavily damage city since our government will be rebuilding it and make a new one." The representative said and Archie nodded with understanding.
"Totally annihilated city. Is that the City where the Fenrir is? Did you eliminate the Fenrir already?" Archie asks with shock on his face.
"Unfortunately no, we actually came here to negotiate with you to deal with it as well."
Archie calmed himself down. He already expected them to ask him for that.
"We know that you enslave the Lich that devastated one of your island cities here. If you could...."
Archie interrupt him from speaking.
"I'm sorry but I cannot win against the Fenrir to be honest. I can enslave monsters that came from the dungeon but it is not easy as you made it sound. I need to defeat the Fenrir first inorder to do that, and even with the help of the enslave Lich, it is still impossible for us to win. Sorry but I really cannot help you with that."
The representatives look at each other. And the one who talk to Archie this time is the female with glasses.
"We are gathering strong awakened from all over the world to fight the Fenrir. The world deemed it as an international disaster. We need all help that we can get to deal with the Fenrir."
"I'm sorry, I am not much of a fighter my self. I saw how fast the Fenrir moves, I know that I will die immediately before I can even cast a spell. I will help you but not in the way that you want."
"What help are you talking about?" The man asks.
"I am going to auction a legendary magic sword I named as Gram. You can participate in the auction and get the legendary sword. I am sure that it is powerful enough to handle blows from the Fenrir. I just couldn't use it because it is not suitable for me."
The man stood up in shock and look at me.
"Are you sure that your item can handle the Fenrir? How do you know that? How do you know that the sword that you are planning to auction is a legendary grade as well?" He asks.
"I have a skill called Magic Archive, it gives me knowledge about everything that is related to magic. I know that the Magic Beast Fenrir is super strong base on the knowledge that it has. I also know that the item that I am planning to sell is a legendary grade because I use the method and knowledge from that skill to create the legendary sword."
