At the start of the night, Ling Ping'an was busy playing chess.

His luck was still very, very bad but he was never tired of it.

Until a message popped up in his hand.

"Master Ling... Are you coming tonight?"

Ling Ping'an scratched his head and finally remembered that he had promised Chiba Michiko that he would go to the Fusang Embassy's ball tonight.

It was not easy to reject something that he had promised someone else.

Thus, he replied, "I'm coming, I'll be right there!"

The cat Bastet jumped onto him.

The little guy meowed softly.

Ling Ping'an laughed, "It's decided then!"

He hugged his cat, took the room card and opened the door.

At the door, a petite figure appeared.
