So Much XP! (1)

Turning away from the shattered ice I slowly move in a single direction as each step I take makes me more and more nervous.

Arriving in front of the person I spent the last couple of days with my emotions go into turmoil.

"Get up!" I scream at her battered body.

Willow is in a much worse condition than I was when I got attacked by Joe. I was at least recognizable although my organs were not. But Willow was just a messed up tattered body.

"GET up!" I yell even louder causing the forest around me to shake.

"We have a deal! You are not allowed to break it! Your time is not up yet there are still things I must do. So, GET UP!!!" I shout with all my emotion.

The pressure I released due to leveling up so much was increased and now that I was screaming so loud, it actually caused the trees to quake and tremble.

Yet to my total disbelief within a second the jumbled parts of what was Willow became covered in a blinding white light. Then a second later she was entirely back to normal.

"What the fuck?" I couldn't help but say aloud. Just now I was definitely wanting Willow to be alive but this was just stupid.

'How is it that can she resurrect herself?' I question myself with no valid answer.

"Hi," Willow said as if nothing happened.

Unable to answer due to being in a stupor I pause before responding, "Hi."

Looking up at me from the ground she says, "Hmm, you're a lot stronger now? Oh, what happened to joe? You were hurt and I was fighting him… and then…"

"I defeated him, we won't have to worry about him anymore," I said to calm her down.

Offering my hand to pull her up Willow gladly took hold of it. Once she was back on her two feet she was easily able to move about without problems.

'This is just a mockery of what I went through!' I said in my head.

"Well, what now?" Willow asked.

Shaking my head at the ridiculousness of what it just witnessed I answer, "Plans have changed. It seems it's not destined to work out the way I want it to. So we're going to go to them."

This caused a smile to blossom on Willow's face, "Are we finally going to get to have some real fun?"

Nodding my head, "Yes, it's time to show them what true power is. But first I need to get that power." Turning my head back toward the direction I was sent flying a sinister grin covers my face.

This time I turn to Willow and grab her hand before saying, "It's time to collect all the experience I've been hoarding onto, teleport us back."

Without so much as a thought, she did just that and we appeared at the location before the fight broke out.

An interesting scene was displayed in front of us.

Although I had called all the beasts to come out and attack I also made sure that they wouldn't kill anyone but rather demobilize them.

Because of this as far as the eye could see was monsters of many different species that had soldiers held captive.

It was utterly demurring for all the men as there was quite literally nothing they could do.

Monsters of all shapes, sizes, and types surrounded them from all sides. While the strongest of the soldiers were wounded and physically held down by other beasts.

One level 50 spearman had both of his legs torn off as he lay in his blood barely breathing. But he did not dare to move due to the abnormally large praying mantis that menacingly stared down at him.

Scenes like these occurred all over where the entire force that was under Joe's jurisdiction was trapped.

The moment Willow and I arrived all the soldiers turned their heads towards us as they looked for salvation.

One of the soldiers who at some point was next to Willow and me during the march spoke up, "Save us! Please! I saw your strength, help me please!"

Hearing the cries of the soldier as he begged towards a man and a woman the others followed suit as a commotion erupted of the captured people asking to be saved.

"So loud," I say under my breath before turning my head towards Willow. "You are going to want to move away from here. Even I am not so sure if you will be able to come out unscathed against it."

Willow had a look of hesitation on her face as she didn't know whether or not my words were absolute.

Although she could tell I somehow got a lot stronger she didn't think that she had to straight-up leave the area.

"Suit yourself," I said just before placing my palm to the ground.

Then without any delay, I activated an ability to cause absolute destruction.

'Frost'

Mana: 1309 (0)

Something I discovered when I turned the tree to ice was that 'Frost' was strengthened by mana not attack. The damage output was due to the result of Attack meaning that however much I used it, and for however long, the damage would always be constant.

So by completely draining myself of mana to purely spread 'Frost' outward, the amount of damage to a plant next to my shoe would be the same to a person miles away. So long as I had the mana to reach that person they would take the full force of the ability.

So the moment I activated 'Frost' and used every ounce of mana in my body every monster and every soldier was affected.

And what resulted was just chaos!

It was an absolute slaughter.

A complete annihilation of beings.

Every monster and soldier that had a lower defense than my attack instantly died.

For the ones that were a lower level than me they died shortly after for even if they had a greater defense, rank was all that mattered.

As for the ones who were of a higher level? Well, by understanding what 'Frost' really is their fates were also sealed.
