Chapter 23: Balthazar Leonhard

Eren looked at the man and saw his full appearance the man has a scar on his left eye and seems to be limping,

(he must be a former soldier looking judging by his scar but I can't judge someone by their appearance not that I'm afraid of them) Eren thought,

As the man approached him he could not help but look up because of Eren's sheer size and was slightly surprised,

(this man is a doctor? I wouldn't believe it I didn't witness this with my own eyes, and he said he could cure diseases unlike that lying buffoon I couldn't trust him one bit but I also cannot trust this man fully yet I've dealt with a lot of liars during my prime but if he could then I wouldn't mind owing my life to him) the man thought,

Eren smiled and just shrugged the man's thoughts away since it's normal for people not to trust strangers immediately since they tend to be pretty dangerous and it's also good to have an experience since it could help anyone in the future,

Eren then smiled,

"Right This way sir please take a seat," he said as he grabbed a chair and presented it to him in a polite way,

The man just nodded his head and sat down,

Without hesitation Eren then started asking the man with various questions,

"Do you feel pain anywhere Sir?"

"I have" the man replied,

"where is the pain located?"

"on my hip and left leg"

"when did this pain occur?"

"when I was still 20 years old serving the military when I got shot by an arrow on my thigh"

"hmm... I see... it seems that you got a dislocated muscle and bone structure and it seems to be from a 'Reliable' person" Eren said,

"Haha! I like your attitude kid and yes it's someone 'Reliable' that I became like this" the man answered as he looked at one of akar's goons with a sharp gaze,

"well no worries it's not something unfixable here bite into this sir" Eren said as he gave the man a clean towel,

The man no longer questioned Eren's words and bit Into the towel,

"please bear with the pain" Eren said,

"wha-!" before the man could say anything a very familiar sound rang through the crowd,

Crack!

Everyone was surprised about Eren's way of fixing the man's injury,

The man tried to grab Eren's collar but sadly there was none and Eren's pretty tall so it will be near impossible for a man of short stature to even grab a tall man's collar,

The man was about to get angry when suddenly he found himself standing without even limping at all,

"I... I can stand? I can stand!!!" the man cried joyfully as he tried to jump but felt no pain,

The people were surprised about the miracle Eren showed to the people and Roxan's heart skipped a beat once more just by looking at Eren's back

"T-thank you I don't know how I can repay you" says the man,

"No you don't need to pay me anything sir but there is something I want you to do" Eren replied,

"please sir, tell me anything if it's within my power I will do it," says the middle aged man,

"Nothing much but... eat well, sleep well don't go to brothels, don't gamble, be a good person and also I Will ask you a favor someday is that alright with you?" Eren asked.

"y-yes I'm fine with that sir thank you very much" the man replied,

"may I know your name Sir" Eren asked,

"My name is Balthazar Leonhard" replied the man.
