Ready to help me get my revenge?

Night had descended, covering the desert in darkness. Lilith and I stood together, hidden in the blackness of the moonless night.

I had planted the mercenaries hidden in their campsite, they were to remain hidden until I gave them the signal. It was a well-planned ambush, and the Draegonians, our unsuspecting enemies, had no clue we were there.

My heart raced in my chest, my grip tightening on my sword's handle, excitement running through my veins. The desire for revenge burned fiercely, fueled by memories of my past defeat by the Draegonians. Tonight, I was determined to settle the score.

Lilith, by my side, exuded confidence with a hint of allure, her amber eyes shimmering with mischief.

In the distance, the Draegonians approached, their steps muffled by the shifting sands. They moved with a graceful, predatory rhythm, unaware of the trap we had set for them.

Lilith and I shared a silent, knowing glance, our shared goal clear in our expressions. The time for revenge is close, and this sky above would witness my vengeance.

As we stood there, we watched as the Draegonians made camp in close proximity to the mercenaries' hidden position. My plan mirrored the same entry I had employed previously with Marcus. We remained perched atop the high dunes, patiently awaiting the opportune moment to strike.

"Just a little bit more," I whispered to myself, my eyes never wavering from the Draegonians below.

After a while, Lilith and I quietly departed from our concealed vantage point. Sleep remained elusive, so I engaged in conversation with Lilith through the night, our voices barely above a whisper as we awaited the sight of the sun's first rays.

As the sunlight began to wash over the desert, I glanced up at the sky. Then, I turned to Lilith, determination gleaming in my eyes. "Ready to help me get my revenge?" I asked.

"Of course, that's what I'm here for. Then we go find my sisters," she replied with a hint of mischief in her eyes. "But that will be after you help me replenish my energy," she added, flashing a slutty smile.

Together, we made our way toward the Draegonians' camp.

As Lilith and I approached the Draegonians' camp, those who were awake spotted us and ceased their activities, their eyes scrutinizing us intently. Their expressions betrayed a mix of curiosity and caution, as they tried to discern whether we were friend or foe.

As we drew nearer, one of the Draegonians, clad in imposing dragonian armor that concealed most of his form, stepped forward. His gloved hands rested on the hilt of his sword, his gaze locked firmly onto mine.

"Who are you, and what do you want?" he inquired, his unwavering stare finally shifting to Lilith for a lingering moment before returning to me.

"I'm here to see Commander Kyros," I replied evenly.

"You'll have to state your reasons. Why do you want to see our Commander? And how did you know we were here?" he pressed, his eyes once again straying toward Lilith.

"I'd advise that your gaze remains on me. Any other look at her, and it might be your last," I warned, my patience wearing thin.

"And what will you… " Before he could finish off his sentence, I acted swiftly, drawing my sword and slicing through the air with deadly precision.

In an instant, his head parted from his body, blood spurting from the severed neck as his head flew in the air, an expression of shock and fear mirrored in his lifeless eyes as it hit the sands. His body collapsed to the ground, few feet away from me.

As the Draegonians witnessed the swift demise of their comrade, they reacted with lightning speed. Weapons were drawn, and they formed a formidable line of defense, their expressions hardening with resolve.

In response, I summoned eight fiery chains from my back, each one flickering with an intense, otherworldly heat. Handing my sword to Lilith, I took a step forward, the chains swirling menacingly around me.

"It's the Meridian King!" one of the Draegonians exclaimed, his memory quick to recognize my distinctive fiery chains.

Turning to Lilith, I sought her confirmation. "You know what to do," I asked, and she nodded with a knowing glint in her eyes.

A wicked grin spread across my face as I faced the Draegonians. "This is going to be fun," I remarked, fully aware of the chaotic battle that was about to unfold.

The sound of blades slicing through flesh echoed from behind the Draegonians, and their faces contorted into a bewildered mix of shock and confusion as they turned to see their comrades falling.

The mercenaries were silently at work, moving from tent to tent to silently slay those who were still asleep. Those ones would awaken in the afterlife.

"That's our cue," I whispered to Lilith.

Taking advantage of the chaos and fear that had gripped the Draegonians, I sprang into action. With swift agility, I ran a few feet forward before utilizing my fiery chains to launch myself into the air and landed a few feet away from the shocked Draegonians.

As I landed, I unleashed all eight fiery chains upon the Draegonians without hesitation. Some managed to evade just in the nick of time, displaying quick reflexes, but others were less fortunate.

The chains coiled around those caught in their fiery grasp, and I wielded them with ruthless precision. I swung them forcefully, using the Draegonians entangled in the chains as makeshift weapons to strike at their comrades.

Bodies were flung through the air, crashing against the desert ground with brutal force.

The impact was jarring, and as their bodies crashed against the ground, the spear-like edges of the chains pierced through them, dealing fatal blows and sending them into the cold hands of death.

I watched in amazement as Lilith's demeanor shifted from seductive charm to intense determination. She was no longer alluring but fierce, like a fiery storm.

"Blade Dance of Terror!" She yelled and suddenly transformed into a spinning tornado of flames. As she moved, bodies fell in her wake, consumed by the blazing dance of her wrath.
