Uniform

March 5th, early in the morning.

Nagasawa got up early and washed up. Instead of changing into his usual Konoha Jonin uniform, he changed into a slightly modified black kimono.

He modified some of the annoying parts, making it more convenient to wear.

Although it was to celebrate Nono's birthday, Nagasawa treated this as a date.

Because he had been busy preparing for Nine-Tails' attack last year, he didn't get to spend much time with Nono.

He might've spent more time with Minato discussing all sorts of things involving Konoha than with Nono.

After all, they didn't live together. Nono still lived in the orphanage.

Firstly, he could not abandon the children from the orphanage.

Secondly, Nono didn't think that they should live together yet since they were not married yet.

On top of that, Nagasawa was so busy, so the time they spent together was naturally less.

They only had a few actual dates, so if Nagasawa wanted to do some happy things, he would have to pick a good time.

Therefore, Nagasawa wanted to make it up to Nono and turn her birthday into a date. The two of them would be alone for the day.

Since it was a date, then he had to wear a good outfit. Wearing his Shinobi uniform definitely wasn't an option.

After dressing neatly, Nagasawa nodded in satisfaction as he looked at the handsome man in the mirror.

As expected of him, he was just too handsome. Should he ask Nono to make him uglier?

It would be a pain if he was hit on by other girls on the street.

Nagasawa thought about it and felt that it was better not to bother Nono. After all, he was so handsome, and it was a sin not to be admired.

After he was done praising himself, Nagasawa walked out of the house and headed for the orphanage.

"Nagasawa, what are you..."

When Nagasawa entered the orphanage, Nono had just finished preparing breakfast for the children and was taking a breather in the yard.

Seeing Nagasawa walk over in a handsome black kimono, Nono was slightly surprised.

"Why didn't you tell me? I could've prepared a nice outfit and the children's meal in advance!"

"I want to give you a surprise. You don't have to worry about the children. I have already asked someone to deliver food and take care of them." Nagasawa said.

Nagasawa was obviously prepared for this. If he took Nono out without any preparation, he was afraid that Nono would constantly worry about the children in the orphanage.

"Alright then. Wait for a moment. I'll go change." When Nono heard that Nagasawa had everything covered, she felt relieved and smiled warmly.

She obviously also wanted to go on a date with Nagasawa.

"Do you like it?" Nono asked softly.

"I like it very much. You also gave me a surprise." Nagasawa said as he held Nono's hand.

The problem was how to persuade Nono to wear a more revealing priestess costume in the bedroom.

Nono was a conservative type. She might be reluctant to wear the revealing clothes that Nagasawa had in mind.

Nagasawa first took Nono to Academy and told her about how well Kabuto did when he was in the Academy.

"Kabuto is remarkable. He always got the highest grade ever since he enrolled in the Academy."

"It's a pity that Academy is on holiday. Otherwise, I could have brought you to see his good friend when he was in the Academy. She is a Hyuga girl."

"Hanayo, right? Kabuto did tell me about her. According to Kabuto, she is a very kind and hardworking person." Nono recalled what Kabuto said to her during their chat.

"Yes, I can see that she is pretty close with Kabuto. Last time, I saw the two of them leaning against each other." Nagasawa smiled.

"That is good to hear. I am relieved that Kabuto live such a good life now." Nono smiled.

It all started when Nagasawa went to the orphanage to look for Kabuto. Kabuto could be considered the string that connected Nagasawa and Nono.

To start off their date, Nagasawa took Nono to the nearby town to watch a movie.

That was right! A movie already exists at this time. Moreover, it was quite decent. Civilians were not the only ones that liked to watch it, some Shinobi also liked to watch the movie.

Because this was Nono's first time, she watched it intently, while Nagasawa thought that even the one recorded from the phone was still better in terms of quality.

However, he did this to make Nono happy, so he didn't really care about the bad quality.

The two of them continued to stroll around. Time flew, and night fell before they realized it.

"Let's go, I'll bring you to a good place," Nagasawa said with a smile.

He deliberately shifted the date route to the Starfall Valley. 

Nagasawa quickly picked up Nono and used a Flying Thunder God Technique to instantly get to Starfall Valley.

"Nagasawa, you..." Nono was just about to ask why Nagasawa got so hasty, and it made her dizzy, but she was immediately attracted by the scenery.

In the dark night, the leaves were shining like stars, dancing in the air, dispersing the darkness and illuminating the woods.
