239 Naruto

"Sasuke, come here. Today, I'll take you to my friend's house, so that you can meet a new friend." Mikoto Uchiha waved at Sasuke who was still running around in the courtyard.

It had been seven months since Sasuke was born. Perhaps it was because his parents were both Shinobi. Although he was only seven months old, he learned to speak very quickly. Now, he could speak fluently and he was very healthy.

"A new friend? Wohoo." Sasuke's eyes lit up when he heard Mikoto wanted to take him to meet a new friend.

Because of the war with Kumogakure, Fugaku asked Sasuke to stay at home for his safety although Konoha didn't receive any damage.

Itachi, however, was different, because unlike Sasuke, he was already strong enough to protect himself.

That mature part of Itachi that was clearly beyond his age had always made Fugaku feel very assured.

This made Sasuke very bored as he could only play with all kinds of toys in the yard every day and wait for his brother to come back.

But sometimes, when Itachi saw that Sasuke was bored, he wouldn't hesitate to skip a day of training to accompany Sasuke.

"Sasuke, slow down. Be careful!" Uchiha Mikoto saw Sasuke running over and gently reminded him.

It was as if she forgot that she was a Jonin, who could easily catch Sasuke even if he did fall.

"It's fine, I won't fall." Sasuke successfully arrived next to Uchiha and Mikoto safely and smiled confidently.

"Mhmm, you're really amazing." She smiled and stroked Sasuke's hair, then led him to Kushina's house.

"Naruto, you, how did you even struggle with a simple jigsaw puzzle like that? Do it properly!"

When Mikoto reached Kushina's house, she heard a loud yell coming from behind the door.

Sasuke immediately hid behind Mikoto, only peeking slightly to the door.

"Is this your friend's home? Are you sure this is the right house?" Sasuke asked in a low voice.

Mikoto Uchiha smiled awkwardly and explained, "This friend of mine doesn't usually do this. Something must have happened."

"Kushina, I brought Sasuke here." Mikoto said.

Bang!

The door was quickly opened, and Kushina came out.

Seeing Mikoto Uchiha, Kushina's eyes lit up. She had been quite bored recently. After Nine-Tails' attack, she had to rest most of the time because Minato was afraid that the incident would leave any side effects on her. 

"If it isn't little Sasuke! Time flies really fast. Back then you're you're still carrying him around, but now he can walk on her own."

Kushina smiled and greeted Sasuke, who was hiding behind Mikoto.

"It's Sasuke, not Little Sasuke." Sasuke corrected Kushina as he stopped hiding behind Mikoto.

"But you are so little." Kushina put her hands on her hips and said confidently.

"That's..." Sasuke looked up at Kushina and realized that he could not refute her.

Looking at the helpless Sasuke, Mikoto couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Now, now, Kushina. I brought him here to make friends with Naruto."

Last time Mikoto visited, she already discovered that Kushina's prediction was off, and she gave birth to a boy named Naruto Namikaze.

Hearing her words, Kushina became a little more serious and welcomed Mikoto and Sasuke into the house.

"Naruto is in the living room upstairs. Can you go up by yourself, or do you want me to carry you up?" Kushina looked at Sasuke with a smile.

"I can walk up the stairs myself." Sasuke proudly as he tried his best to climb the stairs.

It was not until Sasuke's figure slowly disappeared from her sight that Kushina looked away and smiled at Mikoto. "Your child is really interesting."

Mikoto looked at Kushina speechlessly, then asked with concern, "How is your body?"

"Of course! I've never felt any better." Kushina smiled and smacked her chest, "By the way, I heard that there's a new shop at the shopping district. Let's go shopping tomorrow afternoon."

"Sure, I have nothing to do tomorrow." Uchiha Mikoto nodded.

Through sheer willpower, Sasuke successfully reached the second floor. When he reached the second floor, he saw Naruto sitting on the wooden floor in the living room.

The keen Sasuke immediately noticed the whiskers on Naruto's face at a glance.

"Hello, my name is Sasuke Uchiha. You can call me Sasuke." Sasuke saw that Naruto seemed to be seriously studying the puzzle and did not notice him, so he greeted him.

"Sasuke?" Naruto heard an unfamiliar voice and raised his head to look at the source of the voice.

"That's right, it's Sasuke." Sasuke said proudly. He was very proud of his name.

"Hello, my name is Naruto Namikaze." Although Naruto, who was younger than Sasuke, he could speak fairly well even though he wasn't as articulate as Sasuke.

"Naruto?"

"Yes." Naruto showed a happy smile and nodded quickly.

This was the first time he had a child around his age coming to play with him, so Naruto was very happy.

"Do you like jigsaw puzzle?" Sasuke sat next to Naruto and curiously looked at the jigsaw puzzle on the floor.

"I don't like it, but mom said that it can make me smarter. Let me play." Naruto explained.

"Smart? Let me try." Sasuke was curious and wanted to play with the puzzle.

Ten minutes later...

"I think this fragment should be in this position."

"No, it should be this fragment."

The two then quarrelled for a while. Eventually, Kushina and Mikoto downstairs couldn't ignore it.

"Why are you still arguing?" Kushina stared at Naruto and Sasuke and asked.

"Sasuke... Sasuke puts the wrong part." Naruto was the first to speak.

Before Kushina could say anything, Sasuke quickly retorted, "I didn't. It was Naruto who place the wrong part!"

"Let me see." Kushina walked to the middle of the two and looked at the puzzle.

Finally, Kushina picked up a piece of puzzle that looked similar to the one in Naruto and Sasuke's hand and placed it there before saying with a smile: "No need to fight, you are both wrong."

Kushina had to familiarize herself with the jigsaw puzzle she bought. Otherwise, she'd be too embarrassed if Naruto happened to ask her for help.

"Huh?" Sasuke and Naruto looked at each other, then both of them blushed and apologized to each other, feeling shy about what they had just done.

When it was almost night time, Mikoto brought Sasuke home.

When they parted, Naruto and Sasuke agreed to have a puzzle competition and see which of them was better.
