Dango

"It seems that I have to restrain myself." The next day after a date with Nono, Nagasawa came to a conclusion and felt endless emptiness.

After returning to Konoha and taking Nono back to the orphanage, Nagasawa did not go home right away. He had left some money for Kabuto anyway, so Kabuto wouldn't have to starve.

Kabuto wasn't a fool either. Even if Nagasawa didn't leave him any money, he could still go to Itachi or Hanayo's place and freeload there.

It was already past three o'clock in the afternoon. Nagasawa strolled around and didn't find anything he wanted to eat. 

Thus, Nagasawa went straight to Dango shop. He decided to buy some Dango for lunch.

"Watanabe-san, the usual please." Nagasawa said as he walked into the Dango shop.

"Yes, right away. Nagasawa, why do you look a little strange today?" Owner Watanabe knew Nagasawa so well that he could tell at a glance that Nagasawa seemed a little out of it today.

"Am I more handsome than before? I think this is normal." Nagasawa joked.

Owner Watanabe was speechless. The people who had a girlfriend sure were different. They have become really dense.

Itachi happened to be itching for some Dango. The last time he ate Dango was when Izumi brought some to his house.

It was not that he didn't have money. Fugaku gave him a lot of money, more than enough to buy Dango.

However, he didn't want to be controlled by his desire, so he restrained himself.

However, Itachi felt that two weeks of restraint was enough. This would be a good time to get what he wanted.

Thus, Itachi walked into the Dango shop. The moment he entered Dango shop, he saw Nagasawa sitting there waiting for his Dango.

'Dango weirdo' immediately crossed Itachi's mind.

Two years ago, he had met Nagasawa. What Nagasawa said back then left quite an impression on him, so he had always remembered it.

Because Nagasawa never said his name and he told Itachi to buy Dango and mention his name at the Dango shop, so he nicknamed Nagasawa as 'Dango weirdo'.

Of course, Itachi wouldn't call Nagasawa with that nickname straight at his face.

Itachi thought for a moment before walking up to Nagasawa and then said, "Hello, thank you for treating me some Dango back then. This shop's Dango is really delicious."

Nagasawa was amazed by Itachi's taste. He had such good taste at such a young age. He'd definitely have a bright future!

Because of that, he became interested and told Itachi about how good owner Watanabe's Dango was, especially the Dango that he requested.

As he talked to Itachi, owner Watanabe's Dango was ready. Nagasawa then took his Dango back to his seat and said to Itachi, "Do you want to try these?"

Itachi hesitated for a moment then shook his head. Eating other people's foods was not a good habit, especially when he was not that familiar with that person.

Seeing Itachi refuse, Nagasawa was a little disappointed. He rarely met a fellow sweet lover, but he couldn't get him to try his specially made Dango.

"If you try one, I'll teach you a very powerful Ninjutsu." Nagasawa said after thinking for a moment.

"Thank you, but I'll have to politely decline. I'd feel bad." Itachi refused.

"Can I ask you to reconsider after you have seen it?" Nagasawa said with a smile.

He grabbed Itachi's hand and used Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport to the forest where he often trained before.

Itachi felt the surrounding spin, and then the scene around him suddenly changed, from Dango shop to a forest full of trees.

Itachi pinched himself to check if he was dreaming.

But before Itachi could pinch himself, he knew that this was not a dream, because Nagasawa had already pinched him.

The pain told him that this was not a dream. He was indeed brought into the forest in the blink of an eye.

'Can a person really be this fast? How did he bring me to a place I have never been to before...?' Itachi thought when he felt the pain on his face.

He did not know what was going on, but he quickly pushed away Nagasawa's hand and took a few steps back while looking at Nagasawa warily.

Nagasawa did not care. He laughed and put the bag with Dango inside on the ground. Then he said,

"Don't worry, I am not a bad person. We can't use Ninjutsu in owner Watanabe's shop, can we? It will be a big loss to Konoha if his shop is blown to smithereens."

Itachi was speechless as this reason was too outrageous.

Seeing that Itachi did not seem to believe him, Nagasawa condensed a Chakra in the form of a ball on his right hand and rotated it at high speed.

Soon, a huge Chakra ball appeared in Nagasawa's hand.

Nagasawa fiercely smashed Rasengan to the ground.

Boom!!!

A loud explosion sound rang out, and a large circular crater appeared.

"How about this Ninjutsu? As long as you eat one Dango, I will teach you." Nagasawa smiled at Itachi.

Nagasawa then handed the bag containing Dango to Itachi.

Looking at the huge hole that was caused by the Chakra ball, Itachi fell into deep thought.

If he was not mistaken, Nagasawa did not even make a single hand seal, which meant that it was a Ninjutsu that didn't require a hand seal, and it was also powerful.

Nagasawa said that he would teach him that Ninjutsu as long as he ate one Dango.

Itachi thought about it and decided to accept Nagasawa's offer. Judgin from Nagasawa's strength, he didn't have to go through all this trouble if he just wanted to kill him. 

Itachi picked up the Dango and took a bite. The first bite tasted quite amazing, and the second bite was also not bad. However, when he finished eating, he felt that it was a bit too sweet. It would be better to reduce the sweetness a little bit.

"How does it taste?" Nagasawa asked.

"Overall, it's still okay." Itachi said.

"Not bad, you are quite promising. Do you want to be my disciple? I'm fairly skilled. That Ninjutsu just now is pretty good, but it is far from being the best. "Nagasawa nodded in satisfaction.

Considering how talented Itachi was in the manga, he should be capable to be his disciple.

The most important thing was Itachi's views toward Konoha. He always put the village above everything else, and Nagasawa liked it very much. The ones that Konoha needed were the talented and responsible Shinobi like Itachi.

Itachi would play a very important role in the ideal Konoha that Nagasawa had in mind.

If there would be a Hokage from Uchiha Clan, then it would be either Shisui or Itachi.
