Mission Completed

When Omari got home, he had the best kind of a surprise waiting for him. He wiped his eyes to be sure that he wasn't hallucinating but everything was real.

He would've ran out of the car if not for the fact that he currently wasn't able to move due to his physical conditions.

Ayanfe took pity on the anxious boy and quickly helped him out of the car. It was when he walked to his front door that he realized that he wasn't hallucinating, she was really there.

Amber tucked a strand of hair behind her hair and stared at Omari. Different emotions were at play when she saw him. The result of all those emotions was her running towards him and giving him a bear hug.

Omari was shocked when he saw her running towards him. He was even more shocked when he felt her scent massage his nostrils and her body mass crashed on him.

At that moment he was in immense pain, but he clenched his teeth and endured it. Nothing was going to make him tell her to let go of him.

Unfortunately, nothing didn't mean no one.

"How aren't you in immense pain right now?" Ayanfe asked with a genuine look of confusion on his face. "When you shout a little bit, you wince in pain but now you're not even reacting at all. And I'm very sure that her squeezing you is much more painful than a little scream"

Amber let go of him when she heard that. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..."

At that moment, she realized that she was still standing very close to him. She stepped back hurriedly and scratched the back of her neck awkwardly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause you pain" Amber finished her apology when she got away from Omari.

Omari glared daggers at Ayanfe. He would've thought that Ayanfe spoke out of genuine concern if he didn't see him stick out his tongue after Amber left his body.

"That little..." Omari muttered.

That split second when Amber talked into his nose was the best moment of his life, except every form of happiness he ever felt when he was on the football pitch of course.

That split second when the warmth of her breath assaulted his nostrils, he would give anything back to have that moment.

"It's okay, I wasn't really hurt at all" Omari said.

"Mmm-hmmmn" Chris hummed loudly. He gave Omari a knowing wink and announced as they walked back inside the house. "Meralda and I will just be on our way inside while completely neglecting the activities happening outside wink, wink"

Meralda smiled and walked inside the house with Chris, obviously sharing her husband's humor.

Ayanfe would've straight up left him there but Omari needed someone to help him back inside his house.

Omari and Amber chatted for a while after that. She invited him to watch another of her matches. According to her, the scouts were going to be monitoring every game of the season. She was hopeful that the scouts would take notice of her before the season.

Omari who knew how everything worked decided that she was far too cute when she was happy for him to hit her with the truth. If the scouts didn't mention your name after the first match, then they probably wouldn't take notice of you. You'd have to consistently play exceptionally well for them to take notice of you, and after watching her play the first to , he didnthed talri'sis bed. Sleep came far too quickly for Omari'sis bed. Sleep came far too quickly for Omari'sis bed. Sleep came far too quickly for Omari's liking. It was almost as if he slept as soon as he laid on his bed.

...

Two weeks passed.

Omari recovered from physical injuries after the end of one week. The only thing that stopped him from returning to training was the stab to his shoulder that hadn't healed. That didn't stop him from doing his personal training though. He realized that the system didn't increase the time limit on his missions even though he just went through a life threatening situation.

In the end, he was able to complete the two missions before the deadlines through nonstop training. He'd leave his house early in the morning and come back late in the evening.

A/N: Bonus Chapter (I've fulfilled my promise)

Be completely honest, how many of you forgot that there was a system.

And I part with my usual words of encouragement.

100 P.S = 1 extra chapter

15 chapter comments = 1 extra chapter

And if by some miracle, this boom gets contracted, two extra chapters and an update rate of two chapters a day for the next two weeks.
