Dungeon of Desires

During their journey to the Dungeon of Desires, three more hours passed. Now, Denny could only count an hour and some minutes to be able to return on earth.

'I can't wait!'

He didn't plan to play it low-key. Why would he keep a low profile, anyway? He had already started imagining how much money he would spend on clothes, their brands and... everything. About cars and some things like houses, he knew it would not be a good idea to have them overnight. However, having a girlfriend at the Elites Academy...

'Oh gods!'

It was going to be interesting. Now, all Denny needed was to enter the legendary cave, help Amellia with whatever she wanted and finally enjoy his journey back on earth.

Standing on top of a well-formed hill, Denny could see a massive skull in the middle of a mysterious valley below, too big to be called a mountain. With its green burning eyes and scary horns, one could say the goddamned thing was alive. However, with vines and trees overgrown on its sides, Denny abandoned the idea.

Though it was located two hundred meters from where he stood, he could see humanoid figures going in and out of its wide open maw, its fangs serving as the entrance poles.

All around the skull mountain, an endless wide abyss stretched, too many jagged pillars which looked like they were floating above white smokes here and there, bridges made of ropes making a cobweb from the skull, traversing over the pillars then to the hills nearby.

Denny looked at the scenery with a stupefied expression, his eyes reflecting the ethereal colourful glow above the skull valley.

"That's the Dungeon of Desires, right?"

Denny knew the answer. This was indeed the Dungeon of Desires. He didn't need anyone to tell it to him so he could know it. However, Amellia had been standing still, looking at it with unwavering eyes. He wanted to bring her back to reality and end whatever brought them there so he could return on earth.

Amellia who had be staring at the massive skull in front of her with admiration turned to look at Denny, her face still brightened by the joy.

"Yeah! That's it! Now we can go. Now I can level up."

If Denny could remember correct, Amellia had said he would not help her in a day or a few years. That it will take time for him to help her reach the level she wanted. Why was she saying she was about to level up then.

"Uh... sorry Amellia. Didn't you say it will take time for you to reach the level you want?"

"Of course it will take time."

She tugged on his sleeves and started walking down the hill where one of the bridges lay.

"That's how leveling up is. Today you level up, then your stats go back to zero or the requirements to reach the next level increase. Take for example your stats. Before, your body was on the Lean Level. You were thin and... you know what lean means, right? Now that you're on the Buff level, you will need to fill all the stats to be able to reach the King level."

Denny had played so many video games. He really didn't need to be lectured on how once on one level, one needed to do some other things to reach another level. His only problem was about the levels. He expected things like F and SSS but Amellia had kept saying Petite, Lean, Buff, King... it was all confusing.

"Tell me about levels!"

Amellia was happy to do so.

"In this world, children are born and fed well so they could have a strong body, able to evolve when time comes. That makes every young succubus or incubus chubby, the first level. Think of it as an F in those games you play."

She paused a little for the information to sink in then continued.

"Once one completes the first set of quests and reaches the requirements, he levels up to Lean Level when he's a male, and Petite Level when she's a female. Following, there's Buff and Voluptuous, King and Queen, God and Goddess. The levels beyond God are labeled Unknown."

This time, they had reached the bridge.

"That means you are going to level up to the Voluptuous Level then."

At his words, Amellia nodded her head and stepped onto the bridge. Denny followed the suit. Unfortunately, when he stepped onto it, the goddamned bridge shook, making him step back.

"Amellia, why don't we fly?"

They could summon their wings and reach their destination in no time. Why did they need to cross a swaying bridge, dangling over an endless steaming abyss? It was kinda suicide, right?

Amellia shook her head in a mocking way.

"Boyfriend, are you afraid?"

Hell, yeah! Denny was afraid and didn't want to hide it. There was no need to.

"It's scary!"

Amellia gave him a long look before saying, "There's no other way. No one can fly over these bridges unless he wants to lose his conscious up there and plummet into nothingness."

"Even the gods use the bridges," she hurried to add before Denny could say anything. Following, she was gone, taking fast steps to show him it was OK.

With this, Denny had no choice but to follow her. At first, he would feel the bridge shaking violently under his white sneakers as if about to turn upside down. But then, after walking quite an interval, he found out that the bridge had its limits.

A SIGH OF RELIEF.

"Amellia, what exactly am I going to help you?" Denny asked after getting used to walking over the bridge.

Without turning around, Amellia replied, "What else? You'll help me warm my body up for the transformation process to begin."

At the word warm up, something in Denny's mind clicked. She would need to have sex so she could...

'Oh my!'

"Why didn't you tell me about it before leaving the earth?"

This time, Amellia flinched her head to the side to glance at him.

"What else did you expect when you accepted to become a succubus's boyfriend?"

'She is right!'

Denny exclaimed internally.

'What else did I expect from a creature of lust? From a Dungeon of Desires?'
