10 Chapter 10

I blink at the letter in my hand and look at Horo for a second before saying.

"Is this letter real?"

He blinks for a second at me and says.

"Of course, my lord. This letter directly comes from Lord Stark; I even saw him write it in his office."

"Right"

That is what I am afraid of. I cannot go there and meet him. He will know that I am a Targaryen, and I don't think he has any loyalty to me not to inform the fat king. I read too much Fanfic not to take my chance of Robert not sending any assassin or thug to kill me.

He hates my family too much to leave me alone. Jon Arryn might be able to stop him, but I have a feeling the news of my location will reach the old lion, and that bastard will send his best killer, the mountain, to kill me or hire an assassin if his thug cannot kill me.

As I am thinking about how to answer the letter, Melisandre walks forward with a smile on her face and says.

"I think you should accept the invitation, my lord."

I look at Melisandre and say.

"Why? As you can see, he will notice my hair and eyes. I don't want him to know my real identity and destroy the peaceful life I have made for Dany and me."

Melisandre's smile gets bigger, and she says.

"You don't need to worry, my lord. Lord Stark will not notice your face as you do not have any resemblance to your father and mother. He will only think of you as a regular Lys citizen with a strong Valyria blood inside you."

And that is another thing that I did not understand. Don't get me wrong. I am handsome, or in this case, cute, but I do not resemble any of my parents. I did not inherit my mother and father's gold-silver hair but rather pure white hair that looks like snow from the north. I also did not have pale purple eyes like my parents; instead, I had deep purple eyes.

"It is because of your magic. Your appearance is what a true Targaryen looks like before they leave Valyria in the past."

"Right."

I release a sigh and say.

"Why are you so confident that it will not result in something bad for us? I am willing to go, but I am curious as to the reason why you want me to attend this invitation. You are working hard to ensure no one knows I am Viserys Targaryen instead of Vyn Lunaran, but here you want to set a meeting that can break all your hard work?"

Melisandre's smile did not falter, and says.

"Because Lord R'hllor gave me a vision. I have been thinking about it for the past few days, and now I know the reason why Lord R'hllor showed me that kind of vision."

"Right. That makes sense."

Now I understand the reason why she has that kind of confidence. She is the most fanatic person I know. When she receives a vision, she will immediately believe it and follow the vision to the T. Sometimes, I am afraid that R'hllor will give her a vision to kill me, but I keep that kind of thinking in the corner of my head as I did not want to be a paranoid person. Cautiousness is great, but paranoia is something I did not want.

"What kind of vision do you get?"

"I can see a young wolf howling, gathering his pack to support you. However, to get this result, the young dragon needs to help the wolves in their time of need. First, he needs to make a good first impression when the Alpha Wolf invites the young dragon. Second, the young dragon needs to help them in the incoming winter, for the Great Other shall create a worse winter for the wolf pack."

"Right. Anything else?"

"When your name is revealed to the wider world, the seed of doubt and loyalty shall bloom among the pack, and they shall join your cause when the time is right."

I take a deep breath and nod my head.

"Right. Very well."

I get up from my chair and look at Melisandre.

"Prepare a ship for me. Do you want to come with me, or do you want to stay here?"

"I shall come with you, my lord."

I nod and say.

"Very well. You shall be the one taking care of Dany while we are there."

"Of course, my lord."

I look at Horo and say.

"Can you inform the captain to prepare guards for me? We need them to come with us on this journey."

Horo bows and says.

"Of course, my lord. I shall inform the captain of your personal ship to prepare his best men. I will also tell him to bring as many of them as possible."

"Wait! You did not… Haaa…"

I release a sigh when I see him leave the room without even letting me finish my words. I shake my head and say.

"Melisandre, let's start that magic training I ask you about."

"Of course, my lord. This Melisandre shall give you all the knowledge I know."

"No Blood Magic!"

I hear her chuckle as the two of us walk to the training room.

|3rd POV|

Eddard looks at the row upon row of wagons coming to Winterfell. He can see a familiar blue crescent moon with a black background banner approaching his city.

He knows that the banner is from the Lunaran Merchant House family from Lys, the one that he invited to his castle. Standing on his right is his wife, Catelyn Tully, pregnant with his second legitimate child, and standing on his left is his three-year-old son, Robb Stark.

"Do you need to greet them personally, husband?"

"I need to do this, Cat. You have already heard of the incoming even more harsh winter from the north. We need all the help we can get, and they are the only people willing to sell their goods at a cheaper price than any house in Westeros."

Eddard looks at Catelyn and says.

"Even your father was not willing to sell his food to us, even with the agreement between our two houses."

And that made Catelyn shut her mouth. Eddard loves his wife, but he cannot love his wife's family. They almost never help them in their time of need. He knows that Riverland needs food for the incoming winter, but he knows that they have excess food in their storage that they can sell to the Stark, but they did not sell them any.

He loves his wife, but her family is not a reliable ally.

"We need this trade because of the large harvest failure happening across the North. They are the ones that feed the population in the North."

Catelyn can only nod her head and stand next to her husband. She might not like greeting a merchant family, but she cannot blame her husband's reasoning.

After a few minutes of waiting, they can see the carriage at the front stop, and he can see the door open. A second later, he can see a handsome young boy with hair as white as snow and deep purple eyes that are full of wisdom and intelligence.

"It is nice to meet you, Lord Stark. My name is Vyn Lunaran, the Lord of the Lunaran Merchant House from Lys."
