"How the fuck am I chaotic?!"

Remembering back to 1 year ago, when Ignia concluded that Rei had [Chaotic] trait.

"Well from what I observe during your training, it has been concluded that you fall on that trait." Ignia spoke to him.

"Unbelievable...what part makes me chaotic? I mean, I'm not evil!" Rei argued.

"Who said you are evil?"

Rei looked confused when she asked him that.

"Huh? Uhhhh...doesn't chaotic fall on the evil side?" Rei answered, he sounded unsure about it.

"Well it does sound like it falls on the evil side, but chaotic isn't actually evil."

"Then?"

"It is the incarnation of the demon itself." Ignia answered.

"Oi!"

"I am just joking~" Ignia laughed seeing Rei's reaction.

"Chaotic trait is not actually evil, but fall into the more neutral side."

Ignia explained, but Rei looked at her in disbelief.

"Come on, don't stare at me like that. Like I said [Chaotic] trait doesn't fall into the evil side because it is a trait that creates chaos and destruction." Ignia spoke, but it just made Rei even more gloomy.

'It sounds evil to me.' Rei thought.

"But the chaos and the destruction it mentions doesn't fall on just the good side but also on the evil side." Ignia answered.

"Huh?? What do you mean?" Rei asked.

"For example." Ignia then used her magic to create a chess pawn on her hand, "The white one here is from the good side and the black one is the evil side."

"Okay...?"

"But chaotic is..." Suddenly the chess pawn combined into one with two sides, white and black, "....a mixture between them, where they created chaos in between the good side and the evil side."

"Unlike Neutral, they stayed on the side and not involved with them, a complete blank without color, or transparent..." Then she created a pawn chess made out of glass.

"Just like glass~"

"It can't discriminate between good or evil, but just continue to spread destruction on both sides." Rei answered when he realized it.

"Yes, that's what it is." Ignia nodded after hearing that he finally understood.

"The same as [Divine], they fall in the same categories." Ignia added.

But Rei didn't listen as he was more focused on the [Chaotic] word.

"Then...what am I supposed to do?" Rei asked.

"Hm? What else? Embrace it of course~" Ignia spoke with a full smile, but that didn't make Rei happier.

"I thought you would want me to get rid of it." Rei answered.

"Who say so? It's not a bad trait and it's the rarest one the more exact, this trait shows you that you have no fear in front of stronger opponents, not willing to run away and continue to fight on until the end."

"Even if your body is in a wreck, have you experienced that?" Ignia mentioned, and Rei remembered about what he had experienced before.

"From the looks of it, you do, I mean you did fought against me and Doldain without running away and instead you charged ahead." Ignia spoke.

"That's true...but I don't know how to embrace it or harness this trait." Rei spoke.

"Well I'd gladly help you."

"Of course since it is your lucky day~ I have the same trait as you."

Rei grabbed his axe that he flung up from the ground to the mid-air, while releasing [Agni] and covered his body with his black flame, [Hell Flame].

But the sight of it was different than before where he only clad his body with flame but now...

The flame formed into a proper armor around his body along with a red cape made out from his black flame just like the one he had before.

The figure of his former armor was shown with a different looking helmet that matched it.

While reminiscing the past talk he had with Ignia, Rei smiled.

'Heh, thank you master...for training me into this level."

His black flame flared up as he swung his axe and aimed it at Arrangias.

"Now then...show me what you got, former Paladin."

His voice sounded twisted in madness as he grinned widely and continuously lost his HP.

At the same time, his notification kept ringing like crazy.

But Rei swept those notification away with his axe as he approached Arrangias calmly and rested his axe around his shoulder.

That appearance surprised them all, especially Sharon who was in awe seeing such a sight.

"How ominous...yet, how beautiful." She's mesmerized by the flame fluttering around his body.

"Is that....magic?" Alicia asked.

Then Arrangias, who saw him still standing without looking despaired, said,

Arrangias began to use his full power, releasing multiple cables on its back and aimed it at Rei. The end of the cable had the same red eyes glowing in this darkness, which meant the golem was about to release its magic laser through them.

But Rei kept walking towards it, without backing down.

Then Arrangias started to shoot three of its lasers at Rei.

When the lasers are about to reach him…

Rei swung his axe and erased those laser in one sweep easily.

Then Arrangias shot another four lasers at him.

*ZWONG*

And again...

*BASH*

Rei swept in a single line and erased those lasers again.

*YOU!!*

The lasers increased again by 8 this time.

*ZWONG*

*BASH*

And Rei swept the lasers again with his axe.

Arrangias began to feel frustrated and increased the amount of the laser by fold, this time it was 24.

*ZWONG* *ZWONG* *ZWONG*

In just a few seconds of interval, to make it harder for him to deflect its attack.

Rei swung his axe on the first laser.

And another two.

Even with the interval between the laser attacks, Rei swept them all with the swings of his axe easily.

Until those 24 shots were erased, leaving no trace, no injuries especially towards the ones behind him.

The amount of lasers that it had prepared increased into 100 shots which were shown on the cables.

When Arrangias did that, Rei began to pick up his pace, from walking to...

Charging head on as Arrangias had prepared his present by firing all those 100 laser shots with the same intervals, showering him with those lasers.

But Rei continued to run.

All the lasers were targeting Rei now, of course some of them would stray towards Alicia and the others who stayed at the back.

"Hold on!" Ashley shouted as they took cover behind Hilbert from the intensity of the fight before them.

Before the raining lasers, Rei didn't stop charging towards Arrangias. The lasers definitely grazed his body.

At that moment, Arrangias saw some similarities between Rei and a certain man that Arrangias know.

Then when he threw another one, Rei continued to deflect it.

Overwhelming him with his pure strength, Rei didn't use his skill at this time and only maintained his [Agni] skill.

The golem that released the anti-magic field, was supposed to be hard to be dealt with by these adventurers.

It was hopeless for them of course, since not only their magic was sealed, their skill that required mana was being sealed as well.

The golem couldn't fight back against this one enemy that bent the logic before him.

Rei swung his axe one more time, causing Arrangias to fall back once more.

Rei didn't stopped and continue to swing his axe one sidely without given him any chance to strike back.

His speed increased on every strike, enough to heat up Arrangias' whole arms that become redder because of the heat of his axe and black flame.

It was madness—no, it was chaos.

The sight of the giant monster that was supposed to overwhelm them, was now being cornered and beaten up by this one man.

Arrangias was barely able to move and began to use the cables on his back to stretch them all and targeting Rei.

*DON'T GET TOO COCKY!!*

Then they all charged at him to strike Rei at the back.

Those cables didn't hit him because just right before it could reach him, Rei jumped up instinctively and lifted his axe.

Then, Rei released his large aura and focused on his axe.

Thus a giant red axe aura, fused with his black flame was created.

It was a magnificent sight, as if a God's weapon was created before their eyes.

The size this time was much bigger than the golem.

*WHAT IS THIS....*

Arrangias tried to deny what he saw.

They saw this one man holding this giant axe with two hands.

"I am...[The Wrath Knight], CRIMSON!"

Creating a devastating explosion that was strong enough to leave a large crack fissure caused by his axe and the crack was able to reach where Alicia and the others were standing.

The sight was truly something they had never seen before.

A single man stood there alone fighting against a monster 10 times bigger than he was, yet he won by cutting the golem in half with such enormous strength while his body was set ablaze by this black flame of his.

'I know he is strong...through the story from his past quest...but..." Alicia gulped as she looked at his back.

'He is way too strong...' She tried to comprehend the sight of his performance, since the last time he fought was enough to cause the whole forest to be destroyed but when she saw it closely…

'It's amazing.' She couldn't help but be amazed by it.

After that, Rei jumped on the throne where the golem's body lay after being cut in half.

"Hmmm, I know you are still alive."

Rei spoke while looking at the middle part of the golem's body. There's a man who had gray skin like metal with lifeless eyes, attached to the golem's inside with a big round orb stuck on his chest.

"Arrangias."

Rei called his name, the man before him was that Arrangias that he just fought.

"To think you would reduce me...into this state."

Arrangias spoke while half of his body melted but managed to stay alive despite that.

"Are you...even a human?" Arrangias asked while chuckling as he spat out mercury like blood through his mouth.

"I am definitely 100% human, unlike you...Arrangias." Rei spoke calmly despite being in front of this horrible sight.

"Heh, a human possess such ominous power yet I cannot sense any evil intentions from you." Arrangias spoke.

Rei didn't answer him and lifted his axe.

"Do you have any last words?" Rei asked him one last time.

"Yes...after you kill me, destroy this throne and you will finish the trial reward that you wanted here." Arrangias spoke.

"You knew?" Rei asked.

"Well...even though I have become a golem, I still have a better instinct, heh." Arrangias chuckled and coughed out another blood again.

"I see..."

"And one last thing..." Arrangias spoke.

"What is it?"

"Please...save my friends, who are locked up in this hideous curse." Arrangias requested.

Rei nodded, "I will...send them painlessly to you."

Arrangias, who looked lifeless, began to smile,

"I see....O, Goddess of Preservation, do not forgive me...for this foolish paladin for going astray from his path."

"And...protect this man within your arms of protection."

Rei listened until the end and finally....

Rei struck him down with his axe.

Rei sighed after he finished the fight, it was definitely nerve wrecking and an unbelievable sight to everyone.

But for him, it was just a daily life he had to do in the near future.

Then Rei grabbed the core orb which is stuck on Arrangias' lifeless body.

"I finally have it." Rei smiled bitterly while Alicia and the others followed him.

"Crimson-san!" Alicia called his name while waving her hand at him with a bright smile.

After that, the first quest of the [Great Three Evil] had been completed.

Rei and the others finally escaped from the temple after a long road, they never expected to be able to finish such exploration in just one day.

Thanks to this man in front of him, walking through the snow together.

"Crimson-san! Are you sure you want me to kept this!" Alicia asked since she was unsure to have this item in her hand.

A necklace with a blue gem with round golden modeling, which was the necklace that Rei wore last time.

Rei spoke while pulling out a necklace from his shirt. This necklace had the same model as the one that Alicia wore but this one had a red gem and like a shield model around it.

"Of course, like I told you, the only thing I want is to defeat Arrangias and one item in there." Rei spoke.

"It's fine, I mean I have the goods for myself, the material from all the golem there and their core, that is enough for me." Rei answered since he's not interested in anything except that.

But that made them misunderstand him, by thinking how kind this young man was before them. Even after saving them out of danger, he generously gave all the treasures to them.

Alicia couldn't help but admire him from behind while her fingers touched the necklace around her, 'So...we have a match~' which made her smile as something awakened within her.

Then at the Fort City, Halvenberg where the adventurer guild was located in the middle of the city which was where all of the capable adventurers that protected this city were gathered.

The Guild Master was called "Raven" since he had unusual black hair with scrawny looks but a veteran-like body.

He's now in shock upon seeing mountains of gold coins scattered within his room.

And the culprits were them, the S-class adventurers that were tasked to investigate [the Three Great Evil] and now coming back with these golds.

Raven sighed, "Seriously...I did say that I want you guys to investigate, but I never thought you would stumble on these treasures."

They all chuckled awkwardly but of course the one who cleared this was standing behind them.

"But I guess I am glad you all come back safe and sound, so can you give me your report?" Raven asked.

One by one, they explained about the ruined temple that they explored, within there was five golem that protected the boss room.

Which was the room that led them to meet the Paladin of the Goddess of Preservation that turned into golem with anti-magic and prevented them from using skills that required mana.

Raven looked serious after listening, "Woah...I didn't know how to process this, to think that our land was cursed by the adventurer in the children's story."

"It might sound absurd, but we do have the source." Hiba spoke to him.

"The source?" Raven asked.

"Uhhhh...well...." Hiba couldn't continue to explain this until Rei stepped in with his helmet on.

"Because I was the one who gave them the information." Rei spoke.

Raven who saw him immediately shook, and of course...

He immediately pulled out a sword underneath his table and swung his sword at Rei who stood before him.

But when his sword about to reach his neck, Rei caught his sword by using only his index finger and thumb.

"....?!" Raven was suprised to see his sword was caught by him with his finger tip.

Which also made the S-class adventurers within this room shocked to see such a scene happening.

"To think you managed to block my sword." Raven spoke, despite the way he looked, he's still a former veteran.

However, his attack didn't faze Rei who had been fighting with a dragon and the strongest dwarf in the Dwarven Kingdom.

'I couldn't sense his presence despite him releasing such an ominous one.' Raven gulped.

'If he was an enemy...I would probably die within a second.'

'Who the hell...is he?'

Rei smiled behind his helmet, "Now then...shall we discuss this matter?"
