391 Leave Me Breathless

"What do you mean by that?" Garrison pushed the jokeres away and held her hand but even he could not feel his pulse. He leaned on her chest and could not feel her breath.

Her face was calm and serene and pink as if she was just resting but there was no sign of life in her body.

"Could it be that she is still trapped in the nightmare?" he asked in a sharp voice full of anxiety when they looked at each other. Not sure of what happened.

"It was lord ROwan's nightmare. If he had returned, there would be nothing left there. The lady could not be trapped in one if it did not exist." the man gulped in fear when Garrison's eyes narrowed. They looked thirsty for blood when the mage took a step back.

"Bring her back." he announced as if he ruled life and death. They opened their mouths and closed it. Not sure how to explain to him that it was not possible.
