"Knock!" "knock!" 

Nadia frowned when the door knocked again. She had just sent those nosy noblewomen who could not stop gossiping and now the door was knocking again.

The tray of tea and other snacks was still on the table. The maids paused and looked at Nadia for further instruction when the woman gritted her teeth. As if they have a choice!

They were nothing but new animals added in the zoo. All the nobles were coming to meet them as if they wanted to see if the new beast was fiery or tamed.

"Please escort the guest in." Nadia smiled politely when the maid nodded and walked to the door.

Nadia did not follow but her gaze trailed behind the maid. The door was opening but there was no one to be seen.

The maid looked around only to notice an envelope on the floor. With furrowed brows, she picked up the letter and brought it in.
