As Garry had predicted, the knights left but to her surprise both Seri and Maggie joined them. 

"Are they not worried if beasts would attack us while we are having.." Ana sat on the mattress that had fallen on the ground and rubbed her back.

"They never worry about you if you are with me." Her gaze shifted to his dark face. His voice filled with malice yet he said such tender words.

"And i am not a fool like my father to fall in love with a woman to let him kill me." Ana flinched. Oxygen released her lungs at once and the guilt filled it.

Yes, she was like his mother and wanted to kill him. But it was not because she was sent by his majesty or she wanted power. It was a revenge she must take.
