When Garry took the seat beside Meredith, Ana felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured on her face.

So when she finished her speech and stepped down the dais, she did not wait for Garry to guide her.

  She followed Liam to their assigned horses. Garrison had brought six horses from their estate. Three of them were pure black and with big stature while one of them was white, the other was brown and the last one was brown and white mixed with brown patches.

The one that caught Ana's attention was a black horse that had strong stature and it was higher than others.

"It is Shadow, your grace. It is favorite horse of his grace." looking at her attention, the horse neighed loudly. 

But when she raised her hand to stroke the fur, Liam stopped her.

"The horse is only tamed to his grace." He looked a bit embarrassed to stop her. But he was concerned that she would be hurt.
