"My lady, there was an invitation letter from house Asmond. They have organized an opera show for all the noble ladies on the occasion of the count's marriage anniversary.

Shall we refuse?" Ana held the letter and raised a brow at Seri who was looking at the letter with greedy eyes.

"It did not look like you wanted to refuse though?" Seri bit her lips but nodded her head.

"I always wanted to go and see an opera, my lady. And this is the first performance of madam Hedley in our empire. The ticket would be around my three month's pay." She touched the invitation letter softly as if it was a precious jewel, she could not let go of.

"But it is today. We were not able to inform you about it. Shall I deliver a gift in your stead?" though she was sure that she would not be offered a compartment, maybe she could stand in the crowd and see the play.
