The First Real Mission

As they opened the door, a strong and nauseous smell of rotten corpses hit their nose. The smell was so gross it made one want to vomit.

But they couldn't turn back now, so they swallowed their fear and moved forward. As they went in, the door closed itself with a loud slam.

The surroundings were dark, and it was hard to see what was in the front.

After a short while they got a system message. It was the mission explanation.

**MISSION:

Grade: D

Instruction: collect the goods from the ogre village without getting them damaged.

Time limit: 1 week

Reward: --

penalty for failing the mission: death**

They both looked at the mission worried. Even though the mission sounded good, it was everything but that.

The part where it was written *without getting them damaged* and *penalty: death* were very bad things.

To clear this mission the goods can't be damaged, so if they damaged the goods even a tiny bit, the mission fails and it's their end.

The second thing that made the mission harder, was that there was nowhere written what the goods were.

There was nothing they could do about it, so they moved forward.

They had spawned in a dark cave, and when they got out they were in a big and beautiful forest. The trees were very green with wild fruits hanging down. There were many exotic birds and rare wild animals. The sky was blue and the sun shined the brightest they have ever seen.

They walked for a while before seeing a small village.

By taking a closer look, they saw that it was not a human village but an ogre village.

"That must be our destination", said Aoiki. Denji nodded as to agree with him and then started drawing something on the ground.

It was the village and the surrounding they walked through, that he drew. When Denji was done drawing everything he said he had a plan.

The plan was strategic with many traps. They needed to make traps and then lure 2-3 ogres out. That way, they will be able to kill many ogres without getting into a big fight with a big chance to get seriously hurt.

Denji told more about the traps they needed to do within one day and Aoki agreed without a second thought. Even if it's not without any chance of getting hurt, it was still the best way they could do it since the village had around 20 ogres.

And so they both started gathering materials and making the traps.
