149 Aftermath pt.2

Without really knowing why, the urge to just smile and just forget about it became stronger and stronger. Eliseline was ill suited to deal with such dilemmas.

For some odd reason, her respect towards Savine rose. She was someone who could make these decisions so easily. Sacrificing the few for the good of the many, something like that came so naturally to Savine.

Not just that, Savine took it one step further. She was someone capable of sacrificing the many if it meant the future would be stabler.

In a sense, that was the same as sacrificing the few for the good of the many. After all, no matter how many people lived right now, they could never match the number of people that would be born in the future.

When confronted with the question of what right did she possess to make the decision of everyone… Savine's answer would be simple: I don't care. I do what I want because I can.

Would Eliseline be able to do something similar?
