SWEET FIFTEEN

Nathaniel, Frankie, Jeremy, Kelly, Lucas, and Emily's fifteenth birthday was approaching, and everyone was overjoyed at the expected arrival of their fifteenth birthday; except for Nathaniel and Frankie, who wanted to be together, celebrating their fifteenth birthday.

But the two were aware that they could not be together, due to reprisals from the Peters and Brolly families, who had threatened them with throwing acid at their friends if they decided to get back together.

As their fifteen years approached, Frankie and Nathaniel felt sadder they could no longer bear to feel miserable, destroyed, for not being able to be together, and with their hearts broken.

Unable to take it any longer, Nathaniel started looking everywhere for Frankie, and he wouldn't stop until he found her. Days passed, and there was no trace of Frankie; until, one fine day, Nathaniel found her in the place where they saw each other and met for the first time.

Immediately, Nathaniel ran to Frankie, hugged her tightly, and told her how much he loves her and how much he has missed her.

"I love you too and have missed you so much. I've cried too much for you, that I couldn't take it anymore, and that's why I decided to come to our place because our place calms me down a lot and I don't feel alone. Love, I don't know how to live without you" Frankie finished, while he returned Nathaniel's kisses and hugs.

"Love, let's celebrate fifteen years together, even if it's for the last time, what do you say baby? Do you agree to celebrate our birthday together?" Nathaniel asked, happy to be in Frankie's arms.

"Yes, my love, if I want to celebrate our birthday together, even if it's for the last time," Frankie said, accepting everything that Nathaniel told him.

"So, say no more and celebrate, even if it's for the last time, fifteen years together," said Nathaniel, happy that Frankie agreed to be their birthdays together.

In secret, Nathaniel began to organize everything to celebrate his fifteenth birthday, together with the woman he truly loves. It was two days away and Nathaniel had everything ready for that day, and he hoped that day would be perfect.

For that day, Nathaniel had recorded on a CD, the songs that identified with the immense love that the two feel. On the other hand, Nathaniel managed to buy all kinds of snacks, cola, glasses, plates, cutlery, napkins, and sushi for that day.

It was Nathaniel and Frankie's birthday, and they were both beaming, and you could tell how madly in love they were with each other.

"Honey, you look great," Frankie said, kissing Nathaniel on the mouth.

Indeed, it was. Nathaniel had changed into a tuxedo, with a red scarf on one side and blue on the other.

"Thank you, my love, but you look great," Nathaniel said, as he kissed Frankie back on the mouth.

Indeed, it was. Frankie was wearing a simple pale pink strapless dress and her silver shoes, and as an ornament in her hair, she had two red and blue combs.

That night, the two of them enjoyed their birthday, and at the same time, they were showing how much they love each other.

They couldn't stop looking at each other, or kissing, while he was dancing. A toast, talks, laughter, and a simple flirtation, were enough for the two to surrender to love.

While they were doing it, they felt like they could touch the sky, and at the same time, they couldn't hide how much they love each other and that they will never stop loving each other.

"Baby, you know we can't be together," Nathaniel said when they finished making love.

"I know, love, and I am aware of that. But for now, I just want to enjoy this moment," Frankie replied, enjoying being in Nathaniel's arms.

"I don't want you to be sad about what I'm going to tell you, but after thinking about it carefully, the best thing would be for you to start studying far from the United States; so that it doesn't hurt me not to have you by my side," Nathaniel told him, while he felt the threats of his tears wanting to come out at that moment.

"Even though I feel like dying, I know it's for the best, because if we keep seeing each other, we can't control the enormous desire we have to be together, and that would be the worst for our friends," Frankie said, while she was crying, next to Nathaniel.

"My love, this is our tender and romantic farewell, and that is why I wished I had something to remind you of," Nathaniel told her, as he hugged her tightly.

"What? I didn't think your departure would be right away. Give me more time to get used to not having you by my side" Frankie said, even sadder.

"I'm so sorry, baby, but it's the best for both of us" Nathaniel replied, too sad, that he couldn't continue the conversation anymore.

The two remained naked and embraced for two hours, to remember for the last time, how great and how strong the love of the two is.

After the two hours had passed, the two got dressed, gave each other the last kiss, and each took a different path.

What neither of them knew is that it would take several years for them to meet again.
