Chapter 1

It was March, Jade sat in silence thinking to herself. She always wanted adventure, she had always hoped that something exciting would come her way to spice up her life. She never rested until her dream was fulfilled— her dream of becoming a star, a super model! She became a celebrity in her own world and she couldn't be happier. She did a lot things to get her up on that runway, both the bad and the good, but she didn't mind as long as it gave her what she wanted.

Jade had everything she wanted at this point of her life— the perfect light brown skin, the perfect face and body shape, she even had her own house! She was a figure most girls would look up to and she always stood out, she was a queen in her kingdom, but something still felt missing despite having everything, she felt lonely every now and then but she would never admit it to herself nor to her friends and family, she loved acting all strong and content in front of others.

It had been a few years in the past since she last dated a guy and she had gotten so used to that part of her life, she believed she was in a good position and she didn't need any guy. But she still hoped that something exciting would happen to her.

Few times she would find herself daydreaming that a very rich man would sweep her off her feet and they'd be madly in love. But then just like always she would stop herself from daydreaming of such things. The last time she had been in a relationship was five years ago when she was twenty. She thought they'd end up together cause it was like a fairytale— but not all fairytales have happy endings. Her relationships always seemed to have the same patterns as to the way it would crumble down. There would be so much drama, she'd end up crying herself to sleep and finally the break up!

She had gotten engaged once to the owner of an advertising company, and she believed that she would finally live happily ever after with him, but just like all other ones, something had to break them up. And this time she decided she wouldn't cry and it wouldn't devastate her, she made up her mind to be strong and to accept the fact that love doesn't go her way.

Jade became a strong willed, independent and fearless woman and she loved every bit of herself.

There she was once again seated in the dressing room, a gay make up stylist guy was powdering Jade's face. He brushed along the lines of her well carved face, he ensured that he used the right colour of dust on her face to enhance her beauty. The man was so focused on his job, his eyes were fixed on Jade's face while his hand moved so quickly, he had to hurry up because Jade and the other models in the room were about to go on stage to display the new line of clothes for spring and summer that just came in.
