The spontaneous wedding became widely known. Messages from friends and relatives buzzed Sarah's phone, most of them excited about the out-of-the-ordinary strategy.

"A week?" Speaking loudly over the phone, Mr. Duke had a simultaneously nervous and humorous tone. "Derrick, are you sure you know what you're getting yourself into?"

"Yes, Mr. Duke," Derrick laughed in response. "Although a little out of the ordinary, it seems perfect. In addition, our wedding coordinator, Penny, is fantastic. She's got everything under control."

Mr. Duke grunted good-naturedly. "Alright then. Just make sure you take good care of Sarah, son. And try not to let the whole thing turn into a circus."

"Don't worry, sir," Derrick assured him. "It'll be a beautiful ceremony, a celebration of our love.”
