Derrick leaned back in his chair, feeling the full weight of Sarah's disclosure bearing down on him. He struggled to make sense of the fact that Bobby Briggs was not who he said he was. He was not just Newton Duke's son, but also the child of Marshall Briggs, the infamous figure in town.

Realizing that he and his father had been fooled for quite some time was a tough pill to swallow.
