Dear new readers, this book is rooted in the Omegaverse. Yet, it isn't quite like the Werewolf genre you may be familiar with. I understand that attention spans can be short, so let me introduce this setting in the simplest possible way:

In the world of this book, humans are classified into three types: Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. In brief:

Alphas: Physically robust, yet emotionally sensitive, with a risk for frequent emotional breakdowns.

Betas: Physically fragile in comparison, but mentally strong. They can help Alphas 'groom' their emotional turmoil.

Omegas: Similar to ordinary people.

Also, much like the Werewolf genre you may know, these characters experience a 'heat period'. During this time, an Alpha marks a Beta, not an Omega, and once a successful marking has taken place, the Alpha and Beta can only pair up with each other.

This is the basic setup of our story. I hope you enjoy this book and that it opens up a whole new world for you.
