A Great Match

Yuri's heat cycle lasted four days. As soon as hers ended, Tuss's heat period concluded as well.

"Is it a coincidence?" Yuri wondered.

"Perhaps it's because our compatibility is high," Tuss suggested seriously.

"How can you be sure about our compatibility when we've never tested it?" Yuri was skeptical.

"I just feel it. If you don't believe me, we can get it tested," Tuss responded.

"No need." Yuri's voice was resolute. She valued her time to rest more than the need for answers.

Having stayed in for a few days, Tuss needed to run some errands. He asked Yuri if she wanted to join him, but she declined, recalling her unfinished lessons.

"By the way, take care of those gems," Yuri reminded him.

"Should I sell them or make them into jewelry?" Tuss asked.

"Sell them," Yuri didn't hesitate.

Tuss looked at her, puzzled. "Weren't you fascinated by those gems before?"
