The curtains glowed yellow as the sun rose, enveloping the room with a warm light. It was a bright and lovely morning.
Among the three people sleeping soundly on the bed, Davi was the first to open her eyes. Her eyelids opened and shut again as the light piercing through the curtains cast shadows on her eyes. She didn't move for a while, then after a few seconds she slowly opened her eyes again.
